Wer aber ist ein Vater unter euch, den der Sohn um Brot bitten wird, er wird ihm doch nicht einen Stein geben? Oder auch um einen Fisch, er wird ihm statt des Fisches doch nicht eine Schlange geben?

¿Y cuál padre de vosotros, si su hijo le pidiere pan, le dará una piedra? ó, si pescado, ¿en lugar de pescado, le dará una serpiente?

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
