Wo wäre aber unter euch ein Vater, der seinem Sohne, wenn er ihn um Brot bittet, einen Stein reichte? Oder wenn er ihn um einen Fisch bittet, wird er ihm statt dessen wohl eine Schlange reichen?

¿Y cuál padre de vosotros, si su hijo le pidiere pan, le dará una piedra? ó, si pescado, ¿en lugar de pescado, le dará una serpiente?

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
