Ich sage euch: Wenn er auch nicht deshalb aufstehen und ihm das Gewünschte geben mag, weil jener sein Freund ist, so wird er doch wegen dessen Hartnäckigkeit aufstehen und ihm geben, soviel er bedarf.

Os digo, que aunque no se levante á darle por ser su amigo, cierto por su importunidad se levantará, y le dará todo lo que habrá menester.

I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
