Vendei vossos bens e deem aos pobres. Fazei para si bolsas que não envelhecem, tesouros inesgotáveis nos Céus, onde os ladrões não se aproximam e nem traça destrói.

Vended lo que poseéis, y dad limosna; haceos bolsas que no se envejecen, tesoro en los cielos que nunca falta; donde ladrón no llega, ni polilla corrompe.

Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
