mas el que sin conocerla hizo cosas que de suyo merecen castigo, recibirá menos. Porque se pedirá cuenta de mucho a aquel a quien mucho se le entregó; y a quien se han confiado muchas otras cosas, más cuenta le pedirán.
Mas el que no entendió, é hizo cosas dignas de azotes, será azotado poco: porque á cualquiera que fué dado mucho, mucho será vuelto á demandar de él; y al que encomendaron mucho, más le será pedido.
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
but he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.
