Lucas 13

IN quello stesso tempo furono quivi alcuni, i quali gli fecer rapporto de' Galilei, il cui sangue Pilato avea mescolato co' lor sacrificii.

Y EN este mismo tiempo estaban allí unos que le contaban acerca de los Galileos, cuya sangre Pilato había mezclado con sus sacrificios.

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilæans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

Now there were some present at the same time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.

E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Pensate voi che que' Galilei fossero i maggiori peccatori di tutti i Galilei, perciocchè hanno sofferte cotali cose?

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Pensáis que estos Galileos, porque han padecido tales cosas, hayan sido más pecadores que todos los Galileos?

And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilæans were sinners above all the Galilæans, because they suffered such things?

Jesus answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered such things?

No, vi dico, anzi, se voi non vi ravvedete, tutti perirete simigliantemente.

No, os digo; antes si no os arrepintiereis, todos pereceréis igualmente.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.

Ovvero, pensate voi che que' diciotto, sopra i quali cadde la torre in Siloe, e li uccise fossero i più colpevoli di tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme?

O aquellos dieciocho, sobre los cuales cayó la torre en Siloé, y los mató, ¿pensáis que ellos fueron más deudores que todos los hombres que habitan en Jerusalem?

Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them—do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?

No, vi dico, anzi, se voi non vi ravvedete, tutti perirete simigliantemente.

No, os digo; antes si no os arrepintiereis, todos pereceréis asimismo.

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

I tell you, no, but, unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.”

OR disse questa parabola: Un uomo avea un fico piantato nella sua vigna; e venne cercandovi del frutto, e non ne trovò.

Y dijo esta parábola: Tenía uno una higuera plantada en su viña, y vino á buscar fruto en ella, y no lo halló.

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

He spoke this parable. “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.

Onde disse al vignaiuolo: Ecco, già son tre anni che io vengo, cercando del frutto in questo fico, e non ve ne trovo; taglialo; perchè rende egli ancora inutile la terra?

Y dijo al viñero: He aquí tres años ha que vengo á buscar fruto en esta higuera, y no lo hallo; córtala, ¿por qué ocupará aún la tierra?

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down! Why does it waste the soil?’

Ma egli, rispondendo, gli disse: Signore, lascialo ancora quest'anno, finchè io l'abbia scalzato, e vi abbia messo del letame;

El entonces respondiendo, le dijo: Señor, déjala aún este año, hasta que la excave, y estercole.

And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.

e se pur fa frutto, bene; se no, nell'avvenire tu lo taglierai.

Y si hiciere fruto, bien; y si no, la cortarás después.

And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

OR egli insegnava in una delle sinagoghe, in giorno di sabato.

Y enseñaba en una sinagoga en sábado.

And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day.

Ed ecco, quivi era una donna che avea uno spirito d'infermità già per ispazio di diciotto anni, ed era tutta piegata, e non poteva in alcun modo ridirizzarsi.

Y he aquí una mujer que tenía espíritu de enfermedad dieciocho años, y andaba agobiada, que en ninguna manera se podía enhestar.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years. She was bent over and could in no way straighten herself up.

E Gesù, vedutala, la chiamò a sè, e le disse: Donna, tu sei liberata dalla tua infermità.

Y como Jesús la vió, llamóla, y díjole: Mujer, libre eres de tu enfermedad.

And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

When Jesus saw her, he called her and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”

E pose le mani sopra lei, ed ella in quello stante fu ridirizzata, e glorificava Iddio.

Y puso las manos sobre ella; y luego se enderezó, y glorificaba á Dios.

And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God.

Ma il capo della sinagoga, sdegnato che Gesù avesse fatta guarigione in giorno di sabato, prese a dire alla moltitudine: Vi son sei giorni, ne' quali convien lavorare; venite adunque in que' giorni, e siate guariti; e non nel giorno del sabato.

Y respondiendo el príncipe de la sinagoga, enojado de que Jesús hubiese curado en sábado, dijo á la compañía: Seis días hay en que es necesario obrar: en estos, pues, venid y sed curados, y no en día de sábado.

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”

Laonde il Signore gli rispose, e disse: Ipocriti! ciascun di voi non iscioglie egli dalla mangiatoia, in giorno di sabato, il suo bue, o il suo asino, e li mena a bere?

Entonces el Señor le respondió, y dijo: Hipócrita, cada uno de vosotros ¿no desata en sábado su buey ó su asno del pesebre, y lo lleva á beber?

The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?

Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water?

E non conveniva egli scioglier da questo legame, in giorno di sabato, costei, ch'è figliuola d'Abrahamo, la qual Satana avea tenuta legata lo spazio di diciotto anni?

Y á esta hija de Abraham, que he aquí Satanás la había ligado dieciocho años, ¿no convino desatarla de esta ligadura en día de sábado?

And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”

E mentre egli diceva queste cose, tutti i suoi avversari erano confusi; ma tutta la moltitudine si rallegrava di tutte le opere gloriose che si facevano da lui.

Y diciendo estas cosas, se avergonzaban todos sus adversarios: mas todo el pueblo se gozaba de todas las cosas gloriosas que eran por él hechas.

And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

OR egli disse: A che è simile il regno di Dio, ed a che l'assomiglierò io?

Y dijo: ¿A qué es semejante el reino de Dios, y á qué le compararé?

Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

He said, “What is God’s Kingdom like? To what shall I compare it?

Egli è simile ad un granel di senape, il quale un uomo ha preso, e l'ha gettato nel suo orto; e poi è cresciuto, ed è divenuto albero grande; e gli uccelli del cielo si son ridotti al coperto ne' suoi rami.

Semejante es al grano de la mostaza, que tomándolo un hombre lo metió en su huerto; y creció, y fué hecho árbol grande, y las aves del cielo hicieron nidos en sus ramas.

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and put in his own garden. It grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the sky live in its branches.”

E di nuovo disse: A che assomiglierò il regno di Dio?

Y otra vez dijo: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios?

And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

Again he said, “To what shall I compare God’s Kingdom?

Egli è simile al lievito, il quale una donna prende, e lo ripone in tre staia di farina, finchè tutta sia levitata.

Semejante es á la levadura, que tomó una mujer, y la escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo hubo fermentado.

It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”

POI egli andava attorno per le città, e per le castella, insegnando, e facendo cammino verso Gerusalemme.

Y pasaba por todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando, y caminando á Jerusalem.

And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

He went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and traveling on to Jerusalem.

Or alcuno gli disse: Signore, sono eglino pochi coloro che son salvati?

Y díjole uno: Señor, ¿son pocos los que se salvan? Y él les dijo:

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

One said to him, “Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,

Ed egli disse loro: Sforzatevi d'entrar per la porta stretta, perciocchè io vi dico che molti cercheranno d'entrare, e non potranno.

Porfiad á entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

“Strive to enter in by the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter in and will not be able.

Ora, da che il padron della casa si sarà levato, ed avrà serrato l'uscio, voi allora, stando difuori, comincerete a picchiare alla porta, dicendo: Signore, Signore, aprici. Ed egli, rispondendo, vi dirà: Io non so d'onde voi siate.

Después que el padre de familia se levantare, y cerrare la puerta, y comenzareis á estar fuera, y llamar á la puerta, diciendo: Señor, Señor, ábrenos; y respondiendo os dirá: No os conozco de dónde seáis.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

When once the master of the house has risen up and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’

Allora prenderete a dire: Noi abbiam mangiato, e bevuto in tua presenza; e tu hai insegnato nelle nostre piazze.

Entonces comenzaréis á decir: Delante de ti hemos comido y bebido, y en nuestras plazas enseñaste;

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’

Ma egli dirà: Io vi dico che non so d'onde voi siate; dipartitevi da me, voi tutti gli operatori d'iniquità.

Y os dirá: Dígoos que no os conozco de dónde seáis; apartaos de mí todos los obreros de iniquidad.

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’

Quivi sarà il pianto e lo stridor de' denti, quando vedrete Abrahamo, Isacco, e Giacobbe, e tutti i profeti, nel regno di Dio; e che voi ne sarete cacciati fuori.

Allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes, cuando viereis á Abraham, y á Isaac, y á Jacob, y á todos los profetas en el reino de Dios, y vosotros excluídos.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in God’s Kingdom, and yourselves being thrown outside.

E che ne verranno d'Oriente, e d'Occidente, e di Settentrione, e di Mezzodì, i quali sederanno a tavola nel regno di Dio.

Y vendrán del Oriente y del Occidente, del Norte y del Mediodía, y se sentarán á la mesa en el reino de Dios.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

They will come from the east, west, north, and south, and will sit down in God’s Kingdom.

Ed ecco, ve ne son degli ultimi che saranno i primi, e de' primi che saranno gli ultimi.

Y he aquí, son postreros los que eran los primeros; y son primeros los que eran los postreros.

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Behold, there are some who are last who will be first, and there are some who are first who will be last.”

IN quello stesso giorno vennero alcuni Farisei, dicendogli: Partiti, e vattene di qui, perciocchè Erode ti vuol far morire.

Aquel mismo día llegaron unos de los Fariseos, diciéndole: Sal, y vete de aquí, porque Herodes te quiere matar.

The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”

Ed egli disse loro: Andate, e dite a quella volpe: Ecco, io caccio i demoni, e compio di far guarigioni oggi, e domani, e nel terzo giorno perverrò al mio fine.

Y les dijo: Id, y decid á aquella zorra: He aquí, echo fuera demonios y acabo sanidades hoy y mañana, y al tercer día soy consumado.

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.

Ma pure, mi convien camminare oggi, domani, e posdomani; poichè non conviene che alcun profeta muoia fuor di Gerusalemme.

Empero es menester que hoy, y mañana, y pasado mañana camine; porque no es posible que profeta muera fuera de Jerusalem.

Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.’

Gerusalemme, Gerusalemme, che uccidi i profeti, e lapidi coloro che ti son mandati! quante volte ho voluto raccogliere i tuoi figliuoli, come la gallina raccoglie i suoi pulcini sotto le ale, e voi non avete voluto!

¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem! que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti: ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina sus pollos debajo de sus alas, y no quisiste!

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!

Ecco, la vostra casa vi è lasciata deserta. Or io vi dico, che voi non mi vedrete più, finchè venga il tempo che diciate: Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore!

He aquí, os es dejada vuestra casa desierta: y os digo que no me veréis, hasta que venga tiempo cuando digáis: Bendito el que viene en nombre del Señor.

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Behold, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
