Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

Y dijo esta parábola: Tenía uno una higuera plantada en su viña, y vino á buscar fruto en ella, y no lo halló.
He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Et il dit au vigneron : voici, il y a trois ans que je viens chercher du fruit en ce figuier, et je n’y en trouve point ; coupe-le ; pourquoi occupe-t- il inutilement la terre ?
Y dijo al viñero: He aquí tres años ha que vengo á buscar fruto en esta higuera, y no lo hallo; córtala, ¿por qué ocupará aún la tierra?
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down! Why does it waste the soil?’
Et le vigneron répondant, lui dit : Seigneur, laisse-le encore pour cette année, jusqu’à ce que je l’aie déchaussé, et que j’y aie mis du fumier.
El entonces respondiendo, le dijo: Señor, déjala aún este año, hasta que la excave, y estercole.
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
Que s’il fait du fruit, tu le laisseras; sinon, tu le couperas après cela.
Y si hiciere fruto, bien; y si no, la cortarás después.
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Or comme il enseignait dans une de leurs Synagogues un jour de Sabbat,

Voici, il y avait là une femme qui était possédée d’un démon qui la rendait malade depuis dix-huit ans, et elle était courbée, et ne pouvait nullement se redresser.
Y he aquí una mujer que tenía espíritu de enfermedad dieciocho años, y andaba agobiada, que en ninguna manera se podía enhestar.
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Et quand Jésus l’eut vue, il l’appela, et lui dit : femme, tu es délivrée de ta maladie.

Y respondiendo el príncipe de la sinagoga, enojado de que Jesús hubiese curado en sábado, dijo á la compañía: Seis días hay en que es necesario obrar: en estos, pues, venid y sed curados, y no en día de sábado.
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
Et le Seigneur lui répondit, et dit : hypocrite, chacun de vous ne détache- t-il pas son boeuf ou son âne de la crèche le jour du Sabbat, et ne les mène-t- il pas boire ?
Entonces el Señor le respondió, y dijo: Hipócrita, cada uno de vosotros ¿no desata en sábado su buey ó su asno del pesebre, y lo lleva á beber?
The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water?
Et ne fallait-il pas délier de ce lien au jour du Sabbat celle-ci qui est fille d’Abraham, laquelle satan avait liée il y a déjà dix-huit ans ?
Y á esta hija de Abraham, que he aquí Satanás la había ligado dieciocho años, ¿no convino desatarla de esta ligadura en día de sábado?
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
Comme il disait ces choses, tous ses adversaires étaient confus ; mais toutes les troupes se réjouissaient de toutes les choses glorieuses qu’il opérait.
Y diciendo estas cosas, se avergonzaban todos sus adversarios: mas todo el pueblo se gozaba de todas las cosas gloriosas que eran por él hechas.
And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Il disait aussi : à quoi est semblable le Royaume de Dieu, et à quoi le comparerai-je ?

Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

Il est semblable au grain de semence de moutarde qu’un homme prit, et mit en son jardin, lequel crût, et devint un grand arbre, tellement que les oiseaux du ciel faisaient leurs nids dans ses branches.
Semejante es al grano de la mostaza, que tomándolo un hombre lo metió en su huerto; y creció, y fué hecho árbol grande, y las aves del cielo hicieron nidos en sus ramas.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Il dit encore : à quoi comparerai-je le Royaume de Dieu ?
Y otra vez dijo: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios?
And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

Il est semblable au levain qu’une femme prit, et qu’elle mit parmi trois mesures de farine, jusqu’à ce qu’elle fût toute levée.
Semejante es á la levadura, que tomó una mujer, y la escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo hubo fermentado.
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”
Puis il s’en allait par les villes et par les bourgades, enseignant, et tenant le chemin de Jérusalem.
Y pasaba por todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando, y caminando á Jerusalem.

Porfiad á entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Et après que le père de famille se sera levé, et qu’il aura fermé la porte, et que vous étant dehors vous vous mettrez à heurter à la porte, en disant : Seigneur ! Seigneur ! ouvre-nous ; et que lui vous répondant vous dira : je ne sais d’où vous êtes ;

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Alors vous vous mettrez à dire : nous avons mangé et bu en ta présence, et tu as enseigné dans nos rues.
Entonces comenzaréis á decir: Delante de ti hemos comido y bebido, y en nuestras plazas enseñaste;
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
Mais il dira : je vous dis que je ne sais d’où vous êtes ; retirez-vous de moi, vous tous qui faites le métier d’iniquité.
Y os dirá: Dígoos que no os conozco de dónde seáis; apartaos de mí todos los obreros de iniquidad.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’
Là il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents ; quand vous verrez Abraham, et Isaac, et Jacob, et tous les Prophètes dans le Royaume de Dieu, et que vous serez jetés dehors.
Allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes, cuando viereis á Abraham, y á Isaac, y á Jacob, y á todos los profetas en el reino de Dios, y vosotros excluídos.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Il en viendra aussi d’Orient, et d’Occident, et du Septentrion, et du Midi, qui seront à table dans le Royaume de Dieu.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

En ce même jour-là quelques Pharisiens vinrent à lui et lui dirent : retire- toi et t’en va d’ici ; car Hérode te veut tuer.
Aquel mismo día llegaron unos de los Fariseos, diciéndole: Sal, y vete de aquí, porque Herodes te quiere matar.
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”
Et il leur répondit : allez, et dites à ce renard : voici, je chasse les démons, et j’achève aujourd’hui et demain de faire des guérisons, et le troisième jour je prends fin.
Y les dijo: Id, y decid á aquella zorra: He aquí, echo fuera demonios y acabo sanidades hoy y mañana, y al tercer día soy consumado.

C’est pourquoi il me faut marcher aujourd’hui et demain, et le jour suivant ; car il n’arrive point qu’un Prophète meure hors de Jérusalem.
Empero es menester que hoy, y mañana, y pasado mañana camine; porque no es posible que profeta muera fuera de Jerusalem.
Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem! que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti: ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina sus pollos debajo de sus alas, y no quisiste!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

Voici, votre maison va être déserte ; et je vous dis en vérité, que vous ne me verrez point jusqu’à ce qu’il arrivera que vous direz : béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur.
He aquí, os es dejada vuestra casa desierta: y os digo que no me veréis, hasta que venga tiempo cuando digáis: Bendito el que viene en nombre del Señor.
