Pero todos los invitados comenzaron a dar excusas. El primero dijo: “Te ruego que me disculpes, pues acabo de comprar un terreno y tengo que ir a verlo”.

Y comenzaron todos á una á excusarse. El primero le dijo: He comprado una hacienda, y necesito salir y verla; te ruego que me des por excusado.

And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

They all as one began to make excuses. “The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please have me excused.’
