Lucas 14

Che talora, quando ne abbia posto il fondamento e non la possa finire, tutti quelli che la vedranno prendano a beffarsi di lui, dicendo:

Porque después que haya puesto el fundamento, y no pueda acabarla, todos los que lo vieren, no comiencen á hacer burla de él,

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

Or perhaps, when he has laid a foundation and isn’t able to finish, everyone who sees begins to mock him,
