Il sale, certo, è buono; ma se anche il sale diventa insipido, con che gli si darà sapore?

Buena es la sal; mas si aun la sal fuere desvanecida, ¿con qué se adobará?

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
