So machte er sich denn auf den Weg zu seinem Vater. Als er aber noch weit entfernt war, sah ihn sein Vater kommen und fühlte Mitleid: er eilte (ihm entgegen), fiel ihm um den Hals und küßte ihn.

Y levantándose, vino á su padre. Y como aun estuviese lejos, viólo su padre, y fué movido á misericordia, y corrió, y echóse sobre su cuello, y besóle.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
