Lucas 15

Es nahten aber zu ihm alle Zöllner und Sünder, ihn zu hören;

Y SE llegaban á él todos los publicanos y pecadores á oirle.

Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.

und die Pharisäer und die Schriftgelehrten murrten und sprachen: Dieser nimmt Sünder auf und isset mit ihnen.

Y murmuraban los Fariseos y los escribas, diciendo: Este á los pecadores recibe, y con ellos come.

And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”

Er sprach aber zu ihnen dieses Gleichnis und sagte:

Y él les propuso esta parábola, diciendo:

And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

Welcher Mensch unter euch, der hundert Schafe hat und eines von ihnen verloren hat, läßt nicht die neunundneunzig in der Wüste und geht dem verlorenen nach, bis er es findet?

¿Qué hombre de vosotros, teniendo cien ovejas, si perdiere una de ellas, no deja las noventa y nueve en el desierto, y va á la que se perdió, hasta que la halle?

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

“Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?

Und wenn er es gefunden hat, so legt er es mit Freuden auf seine Schultern;

Y hallada, la pone sobre sus hombros gozoso;

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

und wenn er nach Hause kommt, ruft er die Freunde und die Nachbarn zusammen und spricht zu ihnen: Freuet euch mit mir, denn ich habe mein Schaf gefunden, das verloren war.

Y viniendo á casa, junta á los amigos y á los vecinos, diciéndoles: Dadme el parabién, porque he hallado mi oveja que se había perdido.

And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’

Ich sage euch: Also wird Freude im Himmel sein über einen Sünder, der Buße tut, mehr als über neunundneunzig Gerechte, welche der Buße nicht bedürfen. -

Os digo, que así habrá más gozo en el cielo de un pecador que se arrepiente, que de noventa y nueve justos, que no necesitan arrepentimiento.

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.

Oder welches Weib, das zehn Drachmen hat, zündet nicht, wenn sie eine Drachme verliert, eine Lampe an und kehrt das Haus und sucht sorgfältig, bis sie sie findet?

¿O qué mujer que tiene diez dracmas, si perdiere una dracma, no enciende el candil, y barre la casa, y busca con diligencia hasta hallarla?

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

“Or what woman, if she had ten drachma coins, if she lost one drachma coin, wouldn’t light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it?

Und wenn sie sie gefunden hat, ruft sie die Freundinnen und Nachbarinnen zusammen und spricht: Freuet euch mit mir, denn ich habe die Drachme gefunden, die ich verloren hatte.

Y cuando la hubiere hallado, junta las amigas y las vecinas, diciendo: Dadme el parabién, porque he hallado la dracma que había perdido.

And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost!’

Also, sage ich euch, ist Freude vor den Engeln Gottes über einen Sünder, der Buße tut.

Así os digo que hay gozo delante de los ángeles de Dios por un pecador que se arrepiente.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.”

Er sprach aber: Ein gewisser Mensch hatte zwei Söhne;

Y dijo: Un hombre tenía dos hijos;

And he said, A certain man had two sons:

He said, “A certain man had two sons.

und der jüngere von ihnen sprach zu dem Vater: Vater, gib mir den Teil des Vermögens, der mir zufällt. Und er teilte ihnen die Habe.

Y el menor de ellos dijo á su padre: Padre, dame la parte de la hacienda que me pertenece: y les repartió la hacienda.

And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of your property.’ So he divided his livelihood between them.

Und nach nicht vielen Tagen brachte der jüngere Sohn alles zusammen und reiste weg in ein fernes Land, und daselbst vergeudete er sein Vermögen, indem er ausschweifend lebte.

Y no muchos días después, juntándolo todo el hijo menor, partió lejos á una provincia apartada; y allí desperdició su hacienda viviendo perdidamente.

And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

Als er aber alles verzehrt hatte, kam eine gewaltige Hungersnot über jenes Land, und er selbst fing an, Mangel zu leiden.

Y cuando todo lo hubo malgastado, vino una grande hambre en aquella provincia, y comenzóle á faltar.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

When he had spent all of it, there arose a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in need.

Und er ging hin und hängte sich an einen der Bürger jenes Landes; der schickte ihn auf seine Äcker, Schweine zu hüten.

Y fué y se llegó á uno de los ciudadanos de aquella tierra, el cual le envió á su hacienda para que apacentase los puercos.

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

He went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed pigs.

Und er begehrte, seinen Bauch zu füllen mit den Träbern, welche die Schweine fraßen; und niemand gab ihm.

Y deseaba henchir su vientre de las algarrobas que comían los puercos; mas nadie se las daba.

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

He wanted to fill his belly with the pods that the pigs ate, but no one gave him any.

Als er aber zu sich selbst kam, sprach er: Wie viele Tagelöhner meines Vaters haben Überfluß an Brot, ich aber komme hier um vor Hunger.

Y volviendo en sí, dijo: ¡Cuántos jornaleros en casa de mi padre tienen abundancia de pan, y yo aquí perezco de hambre!

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger!

Ich will mich aufmachen und zu meinem Vater gehen, und will zu ihm sagen: Vater, ich habe gesündigt gegen den Himmel und vor dir,

Me levantaré, é iré á mi padre, y le diré: Padre, he pecado contra el cielo, y contra ti;

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight.

ich bin nicht mehr würdig, dein Sohn zu heißen; mache mich wie einen deiner Tagelöhner.

Ya no soy digno de ser llamado tu hijo; hazme como á uno de tus jornaleros.

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.”’

Und er machte sich auf und ging zu seinem Vater. Als er aber noch fern war, sah ihn sein Vater und wurde innerlich bewegt und lief hin und fiel ihm um seinen Hals und küßte ihn sehr.

Y levantándose, vino á su padre. Y como aun estuviese lejos, viólo su padre, y fué movido á misericordia, y corrió, y echóse sobre su cuello, y besóle.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

“He arose and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Der Sohn aber sprach zu ihm: Vater, ich habe gesündigt gegen den Himmel und vor dir, ich bin nicht mehr würdig, dein Sohn zu heißen.

Y el hijo le dijo: Padre, he pecado contra el cielo, y contra ti, y ya no soy digno de ser llamado tu hijo.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

Der Vater aber sprach zu seinen Knechten: Bringet das beste Kleid her und ziehet es ihm an und tut einen Ring an seine Hand und Sandalen an seine Füße;

Mas el padre dijo á sus siervos: Sacad el principal vestido, y vestidle; y poned un anillo en su mano, y zapatos en sus pies.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.

und bringet das gemästete Kalb her und schlachtet es, und lasset uns essen und fröhlich sein;

Y traed el becerro grueso, y matadlo, y comamos, y hagamos fiesta:

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let’s eat and celebrate;

denn dieser mein Sohn war tot und ist wieder lebendig geworden, war verloren und ist gefunden worden. Und sie fingen an fröhlich zu sein.

Porque este mi hijo muerto era, y ha revivido; habíase perdido, y es hallado. Y comenzaron á regocijarse.

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

for this, my son, was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate.

Es war aber sein älterer Sohn auf dem Felde; und als er kam und sich dem Hause näherte, hörte er Musik und Reigen.

Y su hijo el mayor estaba en el campo; el cual como vino, y llegó cerca de casa, oyó la sinfonía y las danzas;

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

“Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing.

Und er rief einen der Knechte herzu und erkundigte sich, was das wäre.

Y llamando á uno de los criados, preguntóle qué era aquello.

And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

He called one of the servants to him and asked what was going on.

Der aber sprach zu ihm: Dein Bruder ist gekommen, und dein Vater hat das gemästete Kalb geschlachtet, weil er ihn gesund wieder erhalten hat.

Y él le dijo: Tu hermano ha venido; y tu padre ha muerto el becerro grueso, por haberle recibido salvo.

And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

He said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.’

Er aber wurde zornig und wollte nicht hineingehen. Sein Vater aber ging hinaus und drang in ihn.

Entonces se enojó, y no quería entrar. Salió por tanto su padre, y le rogaba que entrase.

And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and begged him.

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu dem Vater: Siehe, so viele Jahre diene ich dir, und niemals habe ich ein Gebot von dir übertreten; und mir hast du niemals ein Böcklein gegeben, auf daß ich mit meinen Freunden fröhlich wäre;

Mas él respondiendo, dijo al padre: He aquí tantos años te sirvo, no habiendo traspasado jamás tu mandamiento, y nunca me has dado un cabrito para gozarme con mis amigos:

And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

But he answered his father, ‘Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.

da aber dieser dein Sohn gekommen ist, der deine Habe mit Huren verschlungen hat, hast du ihm das gemästete Kalb geschlachtet.

Mas cuando vino éste tu hijo, que ha consumido tu hacienda con rameras, has matado para él el becerro grueso.

But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

But when this your son came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.’

Er aber sprach zu ihm: Kind, du bist allezeit bei mir, und all das Meinige ist dein.

El entonces le dijo: Hijo, tú siempre estás conmigo, y todas mis cosas son tuyas.

And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

“He said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.

Es geziemte sich aber fröhlich zu sein und sich zu freuen; denn dieser dein Bruder war tot und ist wieder lebendig geworden und verloren und ist gefunden worden.

Mas era menester hacer fiesta y holgarnos, porque este tu hermano muerto era, y ha revivido; habíase perdido, y es hallado.

It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’”
