Además de todo esto, entre nosotros y ustedes fue establecida una gran sima, de modo que los que quieren cruzar de aquí a ustedes no puedan, ni de allá cruzar hacia nosotros.

Y además de todo esto, una grande sima está constituída entre nosotros y vosotros, que los que quisieren pasar de aquí á vosotros, no pueden, ni de allá pasar acá.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that no one may cross over from there to us.’
