Y DIJO también á sus discípulos: Había un hombre rico, el cual tenía un mayordomo, y éste fué acusado delante de él como disipador de sus bienes.
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
He also said to his disciples, “There was a certain rich man who had a manager. An accusation was made to him that this man was wasting his possessions.
Und er forderte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Wie hore ich das von dir? Tu Rechnung von deinem Haushalten; denn du kannst hinfort nicht Haushalter sein.
Y le llamó, y le dijo: ¿Qué es esto que oigo de ti? Da cuenta de tu mayordomía, porque ya no podrás más ser mayordomo.
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
He called him, and said to him, ‘What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’
Der Haushalter sprach bei sich selbst: Was soil ich tun? Mein Herr nimmt das Amt von mir; graben mag ich nicht, so schame ich mich zu betteln.
Entonces el mayordomo dijo dentro de sí: ¿Qué haré? que mi señor me quita la mayordomía. Cavar, no puedo; mendigar, tengo vergüenza.
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
“The manager said within himself, ‘What will I do, seeing that my lord is taking away the management position from me? I don’t have strength to dig. I am ashamed to beg.
Ich weift wohl, was ich tun will, wenn ich nun von dem Amt gesetzt werde; daß sie mich in ihre Hauser nehmen.
Yo sé lo que haré para que cuando fuere quitado de la mayordomía, me reciban en sus casas.
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
I know what I will do, so that when I am removed from management, they may receive me into their houses.’
Und er rief zu sich alle Schuldner seines Herrn und sprach zu dem ersten: Wieviel bistdu meinem Herrn schuldig?
Y llamando á cada uno de los deudores de su señor, dijo al primero: ¿Cuánto debes á mi señor?
So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
Calling each one of his lord’s debtors to him, he said to the first, ‘How much do you owe to my lord?’
Er sprach: Hundert Tonnen Oles. Und er sprach zu ihm: Nimm deinen Brief, setze dich und schreib flugs fünfzig.
Y él dijo: Cien barriles de aceite. Y le dijo: Toma tu obligación, y siéntate presto, y escribe cincuenta.
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
He said, ‘A hundred batos of oil.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.’
Danach sprach erzu dem andern: Du aber, wieviel bistdu schuldig? Er sprach: Hundert Malter Weizen. Und er sprach zu ihm: Nimm deinen Brief und schreib achtzig.
Después dijo á otro: ¿Y tú, cuánto debes? Y él dijo: Cien coros de trigo. Y él le dijo: Toma tu obligación, y escribe ochenta.
Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
Then he said to another, ‘How much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred cors of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’
Und der Herr lobete den ungerechten Haushalter, daß er kluglich getan hatte. Denn die Kinder dieser Welt sind kluger denn die Kinder des Lichts in ihrem Geschlechte.
Y alabó el señor al mayordomo malo por haber hecho discretamente; porque los hijos de este siglo son en su generación más sagaces que los hijos de luz.
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
“His lord commended the dishonest manager because he had done wisely, for the children of this world are, in their own generation, wiser than the children of the light.
Und ich sage euch auch: Machet euch Freunde mit dem ungerechten Mammon, auf daß, wenn ihr nun darbet, sie euch aufnehmen in die ewigen Hütten.
Y yo os digo: Haceos amigos de las riquezas de maldad, para que cuando faltareis, os reciban en las moradas eternas.
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
I tell you, make for yourselves friends by means of unrighteous mammon, so that when you fail, they may receive you into the eternal tents.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.
So ihr nun in dem ungerechten Mammon nicht treu seid, wer will euch das Wahrhaftige vertrauen?

Kein Hausknecht kann zweien Herren dienen; entweder erwird einen hassen und den andern lieben, oderwird einem anhangen und den andern verachten. Ihr konnet nicht Gott samt dem Mammon dienen.
Ningún siervo puede servir á dos señores; porque ó aborrecerá al uno y amará al otro, ó se allegará al uno y menospreciará al otro. No podéis servir á Dios y á las riquezas.

Das alles horeten die Pharisaer auch; die waren geizig und spotteten sein.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid's, die ihr euch selbst rechtfertiget vor den Menschen; aber Gott kennet eure Herzen. Denn was hoch ist unter den Menschen, das ist ein Greuel vor Gott.
Y díjoles: Vosotros sois los que os justificáis á vosotros mismos delante de los hombres; mas Dios conoce vuestros corazones; porque lo que los hombres tienen por sublime, delante de Dios es abominación.
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
Das Gesetz und die Propheten weissagen bis auf Johannes; und von der Zeit an wird das Reich Gottes durchs Evangelium geprediget, und jedermann dringet mit Gewalt hinein.
La ley y los profetas hasta Juan: desde entonces el reino de Dios es anunciado, y quienquiera se esfuerza á entrar en él.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Es istaber leichter, daß Himmel und Erde vergehen, denn daß ein Tüttel vom Gesetz falle.

And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Eswaraberein reicher Mann, derkleidete sich mit Purpur und kostlicher Leinwand und lebete alle Tage herrlich und in Freuden.
Había un hombre rico, que se vestía de púrpura y de lino fino, y hacía cada día banquete con esplendidez.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
“Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, living in luxury every day.
Es war aber ein Armer mit Namen Lazarus, der lag vor seiner Tür voller Schwaren
Había también un mendigo llamado Lázaro, el cual estaba echado á la puerta de él, lleno de llagas,
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
A certain beggar, named Lazarus, was taken to his gate, full of sores,
und begehrete, sich zu sattigen von den Brosamen, die von des Reichen Tische fielen. Doch kamen die Hunde und leckten ihm seine Schwaren.
Y deseando hartarse de las migajas que caían de la mesa del rico; y aun los perros venían y le lamían las llagas.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Es begab sich aber, daß der Arme starb und ward getragen von den Engeln in Abrahams Schoft. Der Reiche aber starb auch und ward begraben.
Y aconteció que murió el mendigo, y fué llevado por los ángeles al seno de Abraham: y murió también el rico, y fué sepultado.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
The beggar died, and he was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.
Als er nun in der Holle und in der Qual war, hub er seine Augen auf und sah Abraham von feme und Lazarus in seinem Schoft,
Y en el infierno alzó sus ojos, estando en los tormentos, y vió á Abraham de lejos, y á Lázaro en su seno.
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom.
rief und sprach: Vater Abraham, erbarme dich mein und sende Lazarus, daß er das Aufterste seines Fingers ins Wasser tauche und kühle meine Zunge; denn ich leide Pein in dieser Flamme!
Entonces él, dando voces, dijo: Padre Abraham, ten misericordia de mí, y envía á Lázaro que moje la punta de su dedo en agua, y refresque mi lengua; porque soy atormentado en esta llama.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
He cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’
Abraham aber sprach: Gedenke, Sohn, daß du dein Gutes empfangen hast in deinem Leben, und Lazarus dagegen hat Boses empfangen; nun aber wird er getrostet, und du wirst gepeiniget.
Y díjole Abraham: Hijo, acuérdate que recibiste tus bienes en tu vida, y Lázaro también males; mas ahora éste es consolado aquí, y tú atormentado.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
“But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that you, in your lifetime, received your good things, and Lazarus, in the same way, bad things. But here he is now comforted and you are in anguish.
Und uberdas alles istzwischen uns und euch eine grofte Kluft befestiget, daß, die da wollten von hinnen hinabfahren zu euch, konnten nicht und auch nicht von dannen zu uns heruberfahren.
Y además de todo esto, una grande sima está constituída entre nosotros y vosotros, que los que quisieren pasar de aquí á vosotros, no pueden, ni de allá pasar acá.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that no one may cross over from there to us.’
Da sprach er: So bitte ich dich, Vater, daß du ihn sendest in meines Vaters Flaus;
Y dijo: Ruégote pues, padre, que le envíes á la casa de mi padre;
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
“He said, ‘I ask you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house—
denn ich habe noch funf Bruder, daß er ihnen bezeuge, auf daß sie nicht auch kommen an diesen Ort der Qual.
Porque tengo cinco hermanos; para que les testifique, porque no vengan ellos también á este lugar de tormento.
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
for I have five brothers—that he may testify to them, so they won’t also come into this place of torment.’
Abraham sprach zu ihm: Sie haben Mose und die Propheten; laft sie dieselbigen horen!
Y Abraham le dice: A Moisés y á los profetas tienen: óiganlos.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
“But Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.’
Er aber sprach: Nein, Vater Abraham; sondern wenn einervon den Toten zu ihnen ginge, so würden sie Bufte tun.
El entonces dijo: No, padre Abraham: mas si alguno fuere á ellos de los muertos, se arrepentirán.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
“He said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
Er sprach zu ihm: Hbren sie Mose und die Propheten nicht, so werden sie auch nicht glauben, ob jemand von den Toten aufstünde.
Mas Abraham le dijo: Si no oyen á Moisés y á los profetas, tampoco se persuadirán, si alguno se levantare de los muertos.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
“He said to him, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.’”
