Jesus também disse aos seus discípulos: "Havia um certo homem rico o qual tinha um administrador, esse foi denunciado de desperdiçar os bens dele.
Y DIJO también á sus discípulos: Había un hombre rico, el cual tenía un mayordomo, y éste fué acusado delante de él como disipador de sus bienes.
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
He also said to his disciples, “There was a certain rich man who had a manager. An accusation was made to him that this man was wasting his possessions.
Então o homem rico o chamou e disse: 'O que é isso que ouço falar a teu respeito? Presta contas da tua administração, pois tu não podes ser mais administrador'.
Y le llamó, y le dijo: ¿Qué es esto que oigo de ti? Da cuenta de tu mayordomía, porque ya no podrás más ser mayordomo.
And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
He called him, and said to him, ‘What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’
O administrador disse consigo mesmo: 'O que farei, já que o meu senhor está me tirando do trabalho de administrador? Eu não tenho forças para cavar e tenho vergonha de pedir.
Entonces el mayordomo dijo dentro de sí: ¿Qué haré? que mi señor me quita la mayordomía. Cavar, no puedo; mendigar, tengo vergüenza.
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
“The manager said within himself, ‘What will I do, seeing that my lord is taking away the management position from me? I don’t have strength to dig. I am ashamed to beg.
Sei o que farei para que, quando eu for removido da administração, as pessoas venham me receber em suas casas'.
Yo sé lo que haré para que cuando fuere quitado de la mayordomía, me reciban en sus casas.
I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
I know what I will do, so that when I am removed from management, they may receive me into their houses.’
Então o administrador chamou cada um dos devedores do seu senhor e perguntou ao primeiro: 'Quanto deves ao meu senhor?'.
Y llamando á cada uno de los deudores de su señor, dijo al primero: ¿Cuánto debes á mi señor?
So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
Calling each one of his lord’s debtors to him, he said to the first, ‘How much do you owe to my lord?’
Ele disse: 'Cem batos de óleo de oliva'. E o administrador lhe disse: 'Toma a tua conta, senta-te depressa e escreve que deves cinquenta'.
Y él dijo: Cien barriles de aceite. Y le dijo: Toma tu obligación, y siéntate presto, y escribe cincuenta.
And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
He said, ‘A hundred batos of oil.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.’
Então o administrador disse ao outro: 'E tu quanto deves?'. E este lhe respondeu: 'Cem coros de trigo'. Ele lhe disse: 'Toma a tua conta e escreve oitenta'.
Después dijo á otro: ¿Y tú, cuánto debes? Y él dijo: Cien coros de trigo. Y él le dijo: Toma tu obligación, y escribe ochenta.
Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
Then he said to another, ‘How much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred cors of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’
O senhor elogiou o administrador corrupto, porque ele agiu com astúcia. Pois os filhos deste mundo são mais astutos para com seu próprio povo do que os filhos da luz.
Y alabó el señor al mayordomo malo por haber hecho discretamente; porque los hijos de este siglo son en su generación más sagaces que los hijos de luz.
And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
“His lord commended the dishonest manager because he had done wisely, for the children of this world are, in their own generation, wiser than the children of the light.
Eu vos digo: 'Fazei amigos para si mesmos por meio de riquezas injustas, para que quando elas acabarem, eles vos recebam nas moradas eternas'.
Y yo os digo: Haceos amigos de las riquezas de maldad, para que cuando faltareis, os reciban en las moradas eternas.
And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
I tell you, make for yourselves friends by means of unrighteous mammon, so that when you fail, they may receive you into the eternal tents.
Quem é fiel no pouco também é fiel no muito, e quem é injusto no pouco também é injusto no muito.
El que es fiel en lo muy poco, también en lo más es fiel: y el que en lo muy poco es injusto, también en lo más es injusto.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.
Sendo assim, se não fostes fiel usando as riquezas desse mundo, quem irá confiar a ti as verdadeiras riquezas?
Pues si en las malas riquezas no fuisteis fieles, ¿quién os confiará lo verdadero?
If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Se não fostes fiel com o dinheiro de outras pessoas, quem vos dará o vosso?
Y si en lo ajeno no fuisteis fieles, ¿quién os dará lo que es vuestro?
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

Nenhum servo pode servir a dois senhores, ou ele odiará um e amará o outro, ou ele se apegará a um e desprezará o outro. Não podeis servir a Deus e as riquezas".
Ningún siervo puede servir á dos señores; porque ó aborrecerá al uno y amará al otro, ó se allegará al uno y menospreciará al otro. No podéis servir á Dios y á las riquezas.
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Quando os fariseus, que eram amantes do dinheiro, ouviam essas coisas, ridicularizavam-no.
Y oían también todas estas cosas los Fariseos, los cuales eran avaros, y se burlaban de él.
And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they scoffed at him.
Mas Ele disse: “Vós vos justificais uns perante os outros, mas Deus conhece vossos corações. O que é exaltado entre os homens é detestável diante de Deus.
Y díjoles: Vosotros sois los que os justificáis á vosotros mismos delante de los hombres; mas Dios conoce vuestros corazones; porque lo que los hombres tienen por sublime, delante de Dios es abominación.
And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
A Lei e os profetas vigoraram até a chegada de João. Desde então, o evangelho do Reino de Deus é pregado, e todos se esforçam para entrar nele.
La ley y los profetas hasta Juan: desde entonces el reino de Dios es anunciado, y quienquiera se esfuerza á entrar en él.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Aquele que repudiar sua mulher e casar-se com outra comete adultério, e quem se casa com a repudiada comete adultério.
Cualquiera que repudia á su mujer, y se casa con otra, adultera: y el que se casa con la repudiada del marido, adultera.
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery. He who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.
E havia um homem rico, que se vestia de púrpura e linho fino e desfrutava diariamente de sua grande riqueza.
Había un hombre rico, que se vestía de púrpura y de lino fino, y hacía cada día banquete con esplendidez.
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
“Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, living in luxury every day.
Um pobre chamado Lázaro, estava jogado à sua porta, cheio de feridas.
Había también un mendigo llamado Lázaro, el cual estaba echado á la puerta de él, lleno de llagas,
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
A certain beggar, named Lazarus, was taken to his gate, full of sores,
Ele desejava comer do que caía da mesa do homem rico e até os cães vinham lamber suas feridas.
Y deseando hartarse de las migajas que caían de la mesa del rico; y aun los perros venían y le lamían las llagas.
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Aconteceu que o pobre morreu e foi levado pelos anjos para o seio de Abraão. O rico também morreu, foi sepultado
Y aconteció que murió el mendigo, y fué llevado por los ángeles al seno de Abraham: y murió también el rico, y fué sepultado.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
The beggar died, and he was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.
e no Hades, sendo atormentado, ele ergueu os olhos e de longe viu Abraão e Lázaro reclinado no seio dele.
Y en el infierno alzó sus ojos, estando en los tormentos, y vió á Abraham de lejos, y á Lázaro en su seno.
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom.
Então ele clamou, dizendo: 'Pai Abraão, tem compaixão de mim, manda Lázaro molhar a ponta de seu dedo e com água resfrescar minha língua, porque estou aflito nesta chama'.
Entonces él, dando voces, dijo: Padre Abraham, ten misericordia de mí, y envía á Lázaro que moje la punta de su dedo en agua, y refresque mi lengua; porque soy atormentado en esta llama.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
He cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’
Porém Abraão disse: 'Filho, lembra-te que, enquanto estavas vivo, tu recebestes as coisas boas, por outro lado Lázaro recebeu as coisas más. Mas agora Lázaro está consolado aqui, enquanto tu estás em agonia.
Y díjole Abraham: Hijo, acuérdate que recibiste tus bienes en tu vida, y Lázaro también males; mas ahora éste es consolado aquí, y tú atormentado.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
“But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that you, in your lifetime, received your good things, and Lazarus, in the same way, bad things. But here he is now comforted and you are in anguish.
Além do mais, um grande abismo foi colocado, para que aqueles que queiram cruzar daqui para o teu lado não consigam, e ninguém será capaz de cruzar daí para o nosso lado'.
Y además de todo esto, una grande sima está constituída entre nosotros y vosotros, que los que quisieren pasar de aquí á vosotros, no pueden, ni de allá pasar acá.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that no one may cross over from there to us.’
O homem rico disse: 'Eu te imploro pai Abraão, que o senhor o envie à casa de meu pai,
Y dijo: Ruégote pues, padre, que le envíes á la casa de mi padre;
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:
“He said, ‘I ask you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house—
pois eu tenho cinco irmãos e quero que eles sejam avisados sobre este lugar de tormento, pois eu temo que eles terminem aqui'.
Porque tengo cinco hermanos; para que les testifique, porque no vengan ellos también á este lugar de tormento.
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
for I have five brothers—that he may testify to them, so they won’t also come into this place of torment.’
Mas Abraão disse: 'Eles tem Moisés e os Profetas, deixa que eles os ouçam'.
Y Abraham le dice: A Moisés y á los profetas tienen: óiganlos.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
“But Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.’
E o homem rico respondeu: 'Não pai Abraão, mas se alguém dentre os mortos for até eles, arrepender-se-ão'.
El entonces dijo: No, padre Abraham: mas si alguno fuere á ellos de los muertos, se arrepentirán.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
“He said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
Disse Abraão: 'Se eles não ouvem a Moisés e aos Profetas, tão pouco serão persuadidos por alguém que ressuscite dos mortos'".
Mas Abraham le dijo: Si no oyen á Moisés y á los profetas, tampoco se persuadirán, si alguno se levantare de los muertos.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
“He said to him, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.’”
