Wer aber von euch, der einen Knecht hat, welcher pflügt oder weidet, wird zu ihm, wenn er vom Felde hereinkommt, sagen: Komm und lege dich alsbald zu Tische?
¿Y quién de vosotros tiene un siervo que ara ó apacienta, que vuelto del campo le diga luego: Pasa, siéntate á la mesa?
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

Wird er nicht vielmehr zu ihm sagen: Richte zu, was ich zu Abend essen soll, und gürte dich und diene mir, bis ich gegessen und getrunken habe; und danach sollst du essen und trinken?
¿No le dice antes: Adereza qué cene, y arremángate, y sírveme hasta que haya comido y bebido; y después de esto, come tú y bebe?
And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
