Weiter sagte Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: »Es kann nicht anders sein, als daß Ärgernisse kommen; wehe aber dem, durch den sie kommen!

Y Á SUS discípulos dice: Imposible es que no vengan escándalos; mas ¡ay de aquél por quien vienen!

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!

Es wäre besser für ihn, wenn ihm ein Mühlstein um den Hals gelegt und er ins Meer geworfen wäre, als daß er für einen von diesen geringen Leuten zum Ärgernis wird. –

Mejor le fuera, si le pusiesen al cuello una piedra de molino, y le lanzasen en el mar, que escandalizar á uno de estos pequeñitos.

It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Gebt auf euch selbst acht! Wenn dein Bruder sich (gegen dich) vergangen hat, so halte es ihm vor; und wenn er es bereut, so vergib ihm.

Mirad por vosotros: si pecare contra ti tu hermano, repréndele; y si se arrepintiere, perdónale.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.

Selbst wenn er sich siebenmal am Tage gegen dich vergeht und siebenmal wieder zu dir kommt und erklärt: ›Es tut mir leid!‹, so sollst du ihm vergeben.«

Y si siete veces al día pecare contra ti, y siete veces al día se volviere á ti, diciendo, pésame, perdónale.

And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Die Apostel baten alsdann den Herrn: »Mehre uns den Glauben!«

Y dijeron los apóstoles al Señor: Auméntanos la fe.

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Da antwortete der Herr: »Wenn ihr Glauben wie ein Senfkorn hättet und ihr diesem Maulbeerbaum gebötet: ›Entwurzle dich und verpflanze dich ins Meer!‹, so würde er euch gehorsam sein.«

Entonces el Señor dijo: Si tuvieseis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis á este sicómoro: Desarráigate, y plántate en el mar; y os obedecerá.

And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.

»Wer von euch aber, der einen Knecht beim Pflügen oder beim Viehhüten hat, wird zu ihm bei seiner Heimkehr vom Felde sagen: ›Komm sogleich her und setze dich zu Tisch!‹?

¿Y quién de vosotros tiene un siervo que ara ó apacienta, que vuelto del campo le diga luego: Pasa, siéntate á la mesa?

But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table’?

Wird er nicht vielmehr zu ihm sagen: ›Bereite mir mein Abendessen, schürze dich und bediene mich, bis ich gegessen und getrunken habe; nachher magst auch du essen und trinken‹?

¿No le dice antes: Adereza qué cene, y arremángate, y sírveme hasta que haya comido y bebido; y después de esto, come tú y bebe?

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?

Er wird doch wohl dem Knecht nicht noch dankbar dafür sein, daß er die ihm erteilten Befehle ausgeführt hat?

¿Da gracias al siervo porque hizo lo que le había sido mandado? Pienso que no.

Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

Ebenso steht’s auch bei euch: Wenn ihr alles getan habt, was euch befohlen war, so sagt: ›Wir sind armselige Knechte; wir haben nur unsere Schuldigkeit getan.‹«

Así también vosotros, cuando hubiereis hecho todo lo que os es mandado, decid: Siervos inútiles somos, porque lo que debíamos hacer, hicimos.

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”

Auf seiner Wanderung nach Jerusalem durchzog Jesus das Grenzgebiet von Samaria und Galiläa.

Y aconteció que yendo él á Jerusalem, pasaba por medio de Samaria y de Galilea.

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.

Als er dort in ein Dorf eintrat, kamen ihm zehn aussätzige Männer entgegen, die in der Ferne stehen blieben

Y entrando en una aldea, viniéronle al encuentro diez hombres leprosos, los cuales se pararon de lejos,

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

und ihre Stimme erhoben und riefen: »Jesus, (lieber) Meister, erbarme dich unser!«

Y alzaron la voz, diciendo: Jesús, Maestro, ten misericordia de nosotros.

Als er sie erblickte, sagte er zu ihnen: »Geht hin und zeigt euch den Priestern.« Während sie dann hingingen, wurden sie rein.

Y como él los vió, les dijo: Id, mostraos á los sacerdotes. Y aconteció, que yendo ellos, fueron limpios.

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.

Einer von ihnen aber, als er sich geheilt sah, kehrte zurück, pries Gott mit lauter Stimme,

Entonces uno de ellos, como se vió que estaba limpio, volvió, glorificando á Dios á gran voz;

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

warf sich zu Jesu Füßen auf sein Angesicht nieder und dankte ihm; und das war ein Samariter.

Da sagte Jesus: »Sind ihrer nicht zehn rein geworden? Wo sind denn die anderen neun?

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

Hat sich sonst keiner gefunden, der zurückgekehrt ist, um Gott die Ehre zu geben, außer diesem Fremdling?«

¿No hubo quien volviese y diese gloria á Dios sino este extranjero?

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”

Zu ihm sagte er dann: »Stehe auf und gehe! Dein Glaube hat dir Rettung verschafft.«

Y díjole: Levántate, vete; tu fe te ha salvado.

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”

Als er aber von den Pharisäern aufs neue gefragt wurde, wann das Reich Gottes käme, gab er ihnen zur Antwort: »Das Reich Gottes kommt nicht mit äußerlichem Gebaren;

Y preguntado por los Fariseos, cuándo había de venir el reino de Dios, les respondió y dijo: El reino de Dios no vendrá con advertencia;

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation;

man wird auch nicht sagen können: ›Siehe, hier ist es!‹ oder ›dort ist es!‹ Denn wisset wohl: Das Reich Gottes ist (bereits) mitten unter euch.«

Ni dirán: Helo aquí, ó helo allí: porque he aquí el reino de Dios entre vosotros está.

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”

Weiter sagte er zu seinen Jüngern: »Es werden Tage kommen, wo ihr euch danach sehnen werdet, einen einzigen von den Tagen des Menschensohnes zu sehen, doch ihr werdet ihn nicht sehen.

Y dijo á sus discípulos: Tiempo vendrá, cuando desearéis ver uno de los días del Hijo del hombre, y no lo veréis.

And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

Und wird man dann zu euch sagen: ›Seht dort! Seht hier!‹, so geht nicht hin und gebt nichts darauf!

Y os dirán: Helo aquí, ó helo allí. No vayáis, ni sigáis.

And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away or follow after them,

Denn wie der Blitz, wenn er aufblitzt, am Himmel hin von einem Ende bis zum andern leuchtet, so wird es auch mit dem Menschensohn an seinem Tage sein.

Porque como el relámpago, relampagueando desde una parte de debajo del cielo, resplandece hasta la otra debajo del cielo, así también será el Hijo del hombre en su día.

For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

for as the lightning, when it flashes out of one part under the sky, shines to another part under the sky, so will the Son of Man be in his day.

Zuerst muß er aber noch vieles leiden und von diesem Geschlecht verworfen werden.

Mas primero es necesario que padezca mucho, y sea reprobado de esta generación.

But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Und wie es in den Tagen Noahs zugegangen ist, so wird es auch in den Tagen des Menschensohnes sein:

Y como fué en los días de Noé, así también será en los días del Hijo del hombre.

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

As it was in the days of Noah, even so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man.

Man aß und trank, man heiratete und wurde verheiratet bis zu dem Tage, an welchem Noah in die Arche ging und die Sintflut kam und allen den Untergang brachte.

Comían, bebían, los hombres tomaban mujeres, y las mujeres maridos, hasta el día que entró Noé en el arca; y vino el diluvio, y destruyó á todos.

They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Ebenso wie es in den Tagen Lots zugegangen ist: Man aß und trank, man kaufte und verkaufte, man pflanzte und baute;

aber an dem Tage, an welchem Lot aus Sodom wegging, regnete es Feuer und Schwefel vom Himmel und vernichtete alle –

Mas el día que Lot salió de Sodoma, llovió del cielo fuego y azufre, y destruyó á todos:

But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky and destroyed them all.

ebenso wird es auch an dem Tage sein, an welchem der Menschensohn sich offenbart.

Como esto será el día en que el Hijo del hombre se manifestará.

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.

Wer an diesem Tage auf dem Dache ist, während seine Geräte sich im Hause befinden, der steige nicht erst noch hinab, um sie zu holen; und ebenso, wer auf dem Felde ist, kehre nicht zurück!

En aquel día, el que estuviere en el terrado, y sus alhajas en casa, no descienda á tomarlas: y el que en el campo, asimismo no vuelva atrás.

In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Ich sage euch: In der betreffenden Nacht werden zwei (Männer) auf einem Lager liegen: der eine wird angenommen, der andere zurückgelassen werden;

zwei (Frauen) werden an derselben Handmühle mahlen: die eine wird angenommen, die andere zurückgelassen werden.«

Da erwiderten ihm die Jünger mit der Frage: »Herr, wo denn?« Er aber antwortete ihnen: »Wo das Aas liegt, da sammeln sich auch die Geier.«

Y respondiendo, le dicen: ¿Dónde, Señor? Y él les dijo: Donde estuviere el cuerpo, allá se juntarán también las águilas.

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”
