Lucas 18

Er sagte ihnen aber ein Gleichnis davon, daß man allezeit beten und nicht laß werden sollte,

Y PROPÚSOLES también una parábola sobre que es necesario orar siempre, y no desmayar,

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,

und sprach: Es war ein Richter in einer Stadt, der furchtete sich nicht vor Gott und scheuete sich vor keinem Menschen.

Diciendo: Había un juez en una ciudad, el cual ni temía á Dios, ni respetaba á hombre.

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.

Es war aber eine Witwe in derselbigen Stadt, die kam zu ihm und sprach: Rette mich von meinem Widersacher!

Había también en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía á él diciendo: Hazme justicia de mi adversario.

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’

Und erwollte lange nicht. Danach aber dachte er bei sich selbst: Ob ich mich schon vor Gott nicht furchte, noch vor keinem Menschen scheue,

Pero él no quiso por algún tiempo; mas después de esto dijo dentro de sí: Aunque ni temo á Dios, ni tengo respeto á hombre,

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,

dieweil aber mir diese Witwe so viel Muhe macht, will ich sie retten, auf daß sie nicht zuletzt komme und ubertaube mich.

Todavía, porque esta viuda me es molesta, le haré justicia, porque al fin no venga y me muela.

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”

Da sprach der Herr: Horet her, was der ungerechte Richter sagt!

Y dijo el Señor: Oid lo que dice el juez injusto.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.

Sollte aber Gott nicht auch retten seine Auserwahlten, die zu ihm Tag und Nacht rufen, und sollte Geduld daruber haben?

¿Y Dios no hará justicia á sus escogidos, que claman á él día y noche, aunque sea longánime acerca de ellos?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

Ich sage euch: Er wird sie erretten in einer Kürze. Doch wenn des Menschen Sohn kommen wird, meinest du, daß er auch werde Glauben finden auf Erden?

Os digo que los defenderá presto. Empero cuando el Hijo del hombre viniere, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Er sagte aber zu etlichen, die sich selbst vermaßen, daß sie fromm waren, und verachteten die andern, ein solch Gleichnis:

Y dijo también á unos que confiaban de sí como justos, y menospreciaban á los otros, esta parábola:

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:

Es gingen zwei Menschen hinauf in den Tempel, zu beten, einer ein Pharisaer, der andere ein Zollner.

Dos hombres subieron al templo á orar: el uno Fariseo, el otro publicano.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

Der Pharisaer stund und betete bei ich selbst also: Ich danke dir, Gott, daß ich nicht bin wie die andern Leute: Rauber, Ungerechte, Ehebrecher Oder auch wie dieser Zollner.

El Fariseo, en pie, oraba consigo de esta manera: Dios, te doy gracias, que no soy como los otros hombres, ladrones, injustos, adúlteros, ni aun como este publicano;

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

Ich faste zweimal in der Woche und gebe den Zehnten von allem, was ich habe.

Ayuno dos veces á la semana, doy diezmos de todo lo que poseo.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

Und der Zollner stund von feme, wollte auch seine Augen nicht aufheben gen Himmel sondern schlug an seine Brust und sprach: Gott, sei mir Sunder gnadig.

Mas el publicano estando lejos no quería ni aun alzar los ojos al cielo, sino que hería su pecho, diciendo: Dios, sé propicio á mí pecador.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Ich sage euch: Dieser ging hinab gerechtfertiget in sein Haus vor jenem. Denn wer sich selbst erhohet, der wird erniedriget werden; und wer sich selbst erniedriget, der wird erhohet werden.

Os digo que éste descendió á su casa justificado antes que el otro; porque cualquiera que se ensalza, será humillado; y el que se humilla, será ensalzado.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Sie brachten auch junge Kindlein zu ihm daß er sie sollte anruhren. Da es aber die Junger sahen, bedraueten sie die.

Y traían á él los niños para que los tocase; lo cual viendo los discípulos les reñían.

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

Aber Jesus rief sie zu sich und sprach: Lasset die Kindlein zu mir kommen und wehret ihnen nicht; denn solcher ist das Reich Gottes.

Mas Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Dejad los niños venir á mí, y no los impidáis; porque de tales es el reino de Dios.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

Wahrlich, ich sage euch, wer nicht das Reich Gottes nimmt als ein Kind, der wird nicht hineinkommen.

De cierto os digo, que cualquiera que no recibiere el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

Und es fragte ihn ein Oberster und sprach: Guter Meister, was muß ich tun, daß ich das ewige Leben ererbe?

Y preguntóle un príncipe, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para poseer la vida eterna?

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Was heißest du mich gut? Niemand ist gut denn der einige Gott.

Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? ninguno hay bueno sino sólo Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.

Du weißt die Gebote wohl: Du sollst nicht ehebrechen. Du sollst nicht toten. Du sollst nicht stehlen. Du sollst nicht falsch Zeugnis reden. Du sollst deinen Vater und deine Mutter ehren.

Los mandamientos sabes: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”

Er aber sprach: Das habe ich alles gehalten von meiner Jugend auf.

Y él dijo: Todas estas cosas he guardado desde mi juventud.

And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”

Da Jesus das horete, sprach erzu ihm: Es fehlt dir noch eins. Verkaufe alles, was du hast, und gib's den Armen, so wirst du einen Schatz im Himmel haben; und komm und folge mir nach.

Y Jesús, oído esto, le dijo: Aun te falta una cosa: vende todo lo que tienes, y da á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

Da erdas horete ward er traurig; denn erwar sehr reich.

Entonces él, oídas estas cosas, se puso muy triste, porque era muy rico.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.

Da aber Jesus sah, daß er traurig war worden, sprach er: Wie schwerlich werden die Reichen in das Reich Gottes kommen!

Y viendo Jesús que se había entristecido mucho, dijo: ¡Cuán dificultosamente entrarán en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas!

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!

Es ist leichter, daß ein Kamel gehe durch ein Nadelohr, denn daß ein Reicher in das Reich Gottes komme.

Porque más fácil cosa es entrar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entrar en el reino de Dios.

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Da sprachen, die das horeten: Wer kann denn selig werden?

Y los que lo oían, dijeron: ¿Y quién podrá ser salvo?

And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

Er aber sprach: Was bei den Menschen unmoglich ist, das ist bei Gott moglich.

Y él les dijo: Lo que es imposible para con los hombres, posible es para Dios.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Da sprach Petrus: Siehe, wir haben alles verlassen und sind dir nachgefolget.

Entonces Pedro dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado las posesiones nuestras, y te hemos seguido.

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”

Er sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich ich sage euch es ist niemand, der ein Haus verlasset Oder Eltern Oder Bruder Oder Weib Oder Kinder um des Reichs Gottes willen,

Y él les dijo: De cierto os digo, que nadie hay que haya dejado casa, padres, ó hermanos, ó mujer, ó hijos, por el reino de Dios,

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,

der es nicht vielfaltig wieder empfange in dieser Zeit und in der zukunftigen Welt das ewige Leben.

Que no haya de recibir mucho más en este tiempo, y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

Er nahm aber zu sich die Zwolfe und sprach zu ihnen: Sehet, wir gehen hinauf gen Jerusalem, und es wird alles vollendet werden, was geschrieben ist durch die Propheten von des Menschen Sohn.

Y Jesús, tomando á los doce, les dijo: He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y serán cumplidas todas las cosas que fueron escritas por los profetas, del Hijo del hombre.

Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.

Denn er wird uberantwortet werden den Heiden; und erwird verspottet und geschmahet und verspeiet werden;

Porque será entregado á las gentes, y será escarnecido, é injuriado, y escupido.

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.

und sie werden ihn geilieln und toten. Und am dritten Tage wird er wieder auferstehen.

Y después que le hubieren azotado, le matarán: mas al tercer día resucitará.

And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

Sie abervernahmen der keines, und die Rede war ihnen verborgen, und wuliten nicht, was das gesagt war.

Pero ellos nada de estas cosas entendían, y esta palabra les era encubierta, y no entendían lo que se decía.

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.

Es geschah aber, da er nahe zu Jericho kam, saß ein Blinder am Wege und bettelte.

Y aconteció que acercándose él á Jericó, un ciego estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando;

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.

Da er aber horete das Volk, das hindurchging, forschete er, was das ware.

El cual como oyó la gente que pasaba, preguntó qué era aquello.

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.

Da verkundigten sie ihm, Jesus von Nazareth ginge voruber.

Y dijéronle que pasaba Jesús Nazareno.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Und er rief und sprach: Jesu, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich mein!

Entonces dió voces, diciendo: Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

Die aber vorne an gingen, bedraueten ihn, er sollte schweigen. Er aber schrie viel mehr: Du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich mein!

Y los que iban delante, le reñían que callase; mas él clamaba mucho más: Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

Jesus aber stund stille und hiefi ihn zu sich führen. Da sie ihn aber nahe zu ihm brachten, fragte er ihn

Jesús entonces parándose, mandó traerle á sí: y como él llegó, le preguntó,

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,

und sprach: Was willst du, daß ich dir tun soil? Er sprach: Herr, daß ich sehen moge.

Diciendo: ¿Qué quieres que te haga? Y él dijo: Señor, que vea.

Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

“What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Sei sehend! Dein Glaube hat dir geholfen.

Y Jesús le dijo: Ve, tu fe te ha hecho salvo.

And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”

Und alsbald ward er sehend und folgete ihm nach und preisete Gott. Und alles Volk, das solches sah, lobete Gott.

Y luego vió, y le seguía, glorificando á Dios: y todo el pueblo como lo vió, dió á Dios alabanza.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
