Lucas 18

Il leur proposa aussi une parabole, pour faire voir qu’il faut toujours prier, et ne se lasser point ;

Y PROPÚSOLES también una parábola sobre que es necesario orar siempre, y no desmayar,

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,

Disant : Il y avait dans une ville un juge, qui ne craignait point Dieu, et qui ne respectait personne.

Diciendo: Había un juez en una ciudad, el cual ni temía á Dios, ni respetaba á hombre.

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.

Et dans la même ville il y avait une veuve, qui l’allait souvent trouver, et lui dire : fais-moi justice de ma partie adverse.

Había también en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía á él diciendo: Hazme justicia de mi adversario.

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’

Pendant longtemps il n’en voulut rien faire. Mais après cela il dit en lui- même : quoique je ne craigne point Dieu, et que je ne respecte personne,

Pero él no quiso por algún tiempo; mas después de esto dijo dentro de sí: Aunque ni temo á Dios, ni tengo respeto á hombre,

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,

Néanmoins, parce que cette veuve me donne de la peine, je lui ferai justice, de peur qu’elle ne vienne perpétuellement me rompre la tête.

Todavía, porque esta viuda me es molesta, le haré justicia, porque al fin no venga y me muela.

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”

Et le Seigneur dit : écoutez ce que dit le juge inique.

Y dijo el Señor: Oid lo que dice el juez injusto.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.

Et Dieu ne vengera-t-il point ses élus qui crient à lui jour et nuit, quoiqu’il diffère de s’irriter pour l’amour d’eux ?

¿Y Dios no hará justicia á sus escogidos, que claman á él día y noche, aunque sea longánime acerca de ellos?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

Je vous dis que bientôt il les vengera. Mais quand le Fils de l’homme viendra, pensez-vous qu’il trouve de la foi sur la terre.

Os digo que los defenderá presto. Empero cuando el Hijo del hombre viniere, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Il dit aussi cette parabole à quelques-uns qui se confiaient en eux-mêmes d’être justes, et qui tenaient les autres pour rien.

Y dijo también á unos que confiaban de sí como justos, y menospreciaban á los otros, esta parábola:

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:

Deux hommes montèrent au Temple pour prier, l’un Pharisien ; et l’autre, péager.

Dos hombres subieron al templo á orar: el uno Fariseo, el otro publicano.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

Le Pharisien se tenant à l’écart priait en lui-même en ces termes : ô Dieu ! je te rends grâces de ce que je ne suis point comme le reste des hommes, qui sont ravisseurs, injustes, adultères, ni même comme ce péager.

El Fariseo, en pie, oraba consigo de esta manera: Dios, te doy gracias, que no soy como los otros hombres, ladrones, injustos, adúlteros, ni aun como este publicano;

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

Je jeûne deux fois la semaine, et je donne la dîme de tout ce que je possède.

Ayuno dos veces á la semana, doy diezmos de todo lo que poseo.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

Mais le péager se tenant loin, n’osait pas même lever les yeux vers le ciel, mais frappait sa poitrine, en disant : ô Dieu ! sois apaisé envers moi qui suis pécheur !

Mas el publicano estando lejos no quería ni aun alzar los ojos al cielo, sino que hería su pecho, diciendo: Dios, sé propicio á mí pecador.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Je vous dis que celui-ci descendit en sa maison justifié, plutôt que l’autre ; car quiconque s’élève, sera abaissé, et quiconque s’abaisse, sera élevé.

Os digo que éste descendió á su casa justificado antes que el otro; porque cualquiera que se ensalza, será humillado; y el que se humilla, será ensalzado.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Et quelques-uns lui présentèrent aussi de petits enfants, afin qu’il les touchât, ce que les Disciples voyant, ils censurèrent ceux qui les présentaient.

Y traían á él los niños para que los tocase; lo cual viendo los discípulos les reñían.

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

Mais Jésus les ayant fait venir à lui, dit : laissez venir à moi les petits enfants, et ne les en empêchez point ; car le Royaume de Dieu est pour ceux qui leur ressemblent.

Mas Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Dejad los niños venir á mí, y no los impidáis; porque de tales es el reino de Dios.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

En vérité je vous dis : que quiconque ne recevra point comme un enfant le Royaume de Dieu, n’y entrera point.

De cierto os digo, que cualquiera que no recibiere el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

Et un Seigneur l’interrogea, disant : Maître qui es bon, que ferai-je pour hériter la vie éternelle ?

Y preguntóle un príncipe, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para poseer la vida eterna?

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

Jésus lui dit : pourquoi m’appelles-tu bon ? Il n’y a nul bon qu’un seul, qui est Dieu.

Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? ninguno hay bueno sino sólo Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.

Tu sais les Commandements : tu ne commettras point adultère. Tu ne tueras point. Tu ne déroberas point. Tu ne diras point faux témoignage. Honore ton père et ta mère.

Los mandamientos sabes: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”

Et il lui dit : j’ai gardé toutes ces choses dès ma jeunesse.

Y él dijo: Todas estas cosas he guardado desde mi juventud.

And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”

Et quand Jésus eut entendu cela, il lui dit : il te manque encore une chose : vends tout ce que tu as, et le distribue aux pauvres, et tu auras un trésor au ciel ; puis viens, et me suis.

Y Jesús, oído esto, le dijo: Aun te falta una cosa: vende todo lo que tienes, y da á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

Mais lui ayant entendu ces choses devint fort triste, car il était extrêmement riche.

Entonces él, oídas estas cosas, se puso muy triste, porque era muy rico.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.

Et Jésus voyant qu’il était devenu fort triste, dit : qu’il est malaisé que ceux qui ont des biens entrent dans le Royaume de Dieu !

Y viendo Jesús que se había entristecido mucho, dijo: ¡Cuán dificultosamente entrarán en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas!

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!

Il est certes plus aisé qu’un chameau passe par le trou d’une aiguille, qu’il ne l’est qu’un riche entre dans le Royaume de Dieu.

Porque más fácil cosa es entrar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entrar en el reino de Dios.

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Et ceux qui entendirent cela, dirent : Et qui peut donc être sauvé ?

Y los que lo oían, dijeron: ¿Y quién podrá ser salvo?

And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

Et il leur dit : les choses qui sont impossibles aux hommes sont possibles à Dieu.

Y él les dijo: Lo que es imposible para con los hombres, posible es para Dios.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Et Pierre dit : voici, nous avons tout quitté, et nous t’avons suivi.

Entonces Pedro dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado las posesiones nuestras, y te hemos seguido.

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”

Et il leur dit : en vérité je vous dis, qu’il n’y en a pas un qui ait quitté sa maison, ou ses parents, ou ses frères, ou sa femme, ou ses enfants pour l’amour du Royaume de Dieu,

Y él les dijo: De cierto os digo, que nadie hay que haya dejado casa, padres, ó hermanos, ó mujer, ó hijos, por el reino de Dios,

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,

Qui ne reçoive beaucoup plus en ce temps-ci, et au siècle à venir la vie éternelle.

Que no haya de recibir mucho más en este tiempo, y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

Puis Jésus prit à part les douze, et il leur dit : voici, nous montons à Jérusalem, et toutes les choses qui sont écrites par les Prophètes touchant le Fils de l’homme, seront accomplies.

Y Jesús, tomando á los doce, les dijo: He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y serán cumplidas todas las cosas que fueron escritas por los profetas, del Hijo del hombre.

Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.

Car il sera livré aux Gentils ; il sera moqué, et injurié, et on lui crachera au visage.

Porque será entregado á las gentes, y será escarnecido, é injuriado, y escupido.

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.

Et après qu’ils l’auront fouetté, ils le feront mourir ; mais il ressuscitera le troisième jour.

Y después que le hubieren azotado, le matarán: mas al tercer día resucitará.

And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

Mais ils ne comprirent rien de tout cela, et ce discours était si obscur pour eux qu’ils ne comprirent point ce qu’il leur disait.

Pero ellos nada de estas cosas entendían, y esta palabra les era encubierta, y no entendían lo que se decía.

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.

Or il arriva comme il approchait de Jéricho, qu’il y avait un aveugle assis près du chemin, et qui mendiait.

Y aconteció que acercándose él á Jericó, un ciego estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando;

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.

Et entendant la multitude qui passait, il demanda ce que c’était.

El cual como oyó la gente que pasaba, preguntó qué era aquello.

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.

Et on lui dit que Jésus le Nazarien passait.

Y dijéronle que pasaba Jesús Nazareno.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Alors il cria, disant : Jésus, Fils de David, aie pitié de moi !

Entonces dió voces, diciendo: Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

Et ceux qui allaient devant, le reprenaient, afin qu’il se tût ; mais il criait beaucoup plus fort : Fils de David, aie pitié de moi !

Y los que iban delante, le reñían que callase; mas él clamaba mucho más: Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

Et Jésus s’étant arrêté commanda qu’on le lui amenât ; et quand il se fut approché, il l’interrogea,

Jesús entonces parándose, mandó traerle á sí: y como él llegó, le preguntó,

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,

Disant : que veux-tu que je te fasse ? Il répondit : Seigneur, que je recouvre la vue.

Diciendo: ¿Qué quieres que te haga? Y él dijo: Señor, que vea.

Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

“What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”

Et Jésus lui dit : recouvre la vue ; ta foi t’a sauvé.

Y Jesús le dijo: Ve, tu fe te ha hecho salvo.

And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”

Et à l’instant il recouvra la vue ; et il suivait Jésus, glorifiant Dieu. Et tout le peuple voyant cela, en loua Dieu.

Y luego vió, y le seguía, glorificando á Dios: y todo el pueblo como lo vió, dió á Dios alabanza.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
