Lucas 18

Propose loro ancora questa parabola per mostrare che doveano del continuo pregare e non stancarsi.

Y PROPÚSOLES también una parábola sobre que es necesario orar siempre, y no desmayar,

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,

In una certa città v’era un giudice, che non temeva Iddio né avea rispetto per alcun uomo;

Diciendo: Había un juez en una ciudad, el cual ni temía á Dios, ni respetaba á hombre.

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.

e in quella città vi era una vedova, la quale andava da lui dicendo: Fammi giustizia del mio avversario.

Había también en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía á él diciendo: Hazme justicia de mi adversario.

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’

Ed egli per un tempo non volle farlo; ma poi disse fra sé: benché io non tema Iddio e non abbia rispetto per alcun uomo,

Pero él no quiso por algún tiempo; mas después de esto dijo dentro de sí: Aunque ni temo á Dios, ni tengo respeto á hombre,

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,

pure, poiché questa vedova mi dà molestia, le farò giustizia, che talora, a forza di venire, non finisca col rompermi la testa.

Todavía, porque esta viuda me es molesta, le haré justicia, porque al fin no venga y me muela.

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”

E il Signore disse: Ascoltate quel che dice il giudice iniquo.

Y dijo el Señor: Oid lo que dice el juez injusto.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.

E Dio non farà egli giustizia ai suoi eletti che giorno e notte gridano a lui, e sarà egli tardo per loro?

¿Y Dios no hará justicia á sus escogidos, que claman á él día y noche, aunque sea longánime acerca de ellos?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

Io vi dico che farà loro prontamente giustizia. Ma quando il Figliuol dell’uomo verrà, troverà egli la fede sulla terra?

Os digo que los defenderá presto. Empero cuando el Hijo del hombre viniere, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

E disse ancora questa parabola per certuni che confidavano in se stessi di esser giusti e disprezzavano gli altri:

Y dijo también á unos que confiaban de sí como justos, y menospreciaban á los otros, esta parábola:

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:

Due uomini salirono al tempio per pregare; l’uno Fariseo, e l’altro pubblicano.

Dos hombres subieron al templo á orar: el uno Fariseo, el otro publicano.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

Il Fariseo, stando in piè, pregava così dentro di sé: O Dio, ti ringrazio ch’io non sono come gli altri uomini, rapaci, ingiusti, adulteri; né pure come quel pubblicano.

El Fariseo, en pie, oraba consigo de esta manera: Dios, te doy gracias, que no soy como los otros hombres, ladrones, injustos, adúlteros, ni aun como este publicano;

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

Io digiuno due volte la settimana; pago la decima su tutto quel che posseggo.

Ayuno dos veces á la semana, doy diezmos de todo lo que poseo.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

Ma il pubblicano, stando da lungi, non ardiva neppure alzar gli occhi al cielo; ma si batteva il petto, dicendo: O Dio, sii placato verso me peccatore!

Mas el publicano estando lejos no quería ni aun alzar los ojos al cielo, sino que hería su pecho, diciendo: Dios, sé propicio á mí pecador.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Io vi dico che questi scese a casa sua giustificato, piuttosto che quell’altro; perché chiunque s’innalza sarà abbassato; ma chi si abbassa sarà innalzato.

Os digo que éste descendió á su casa justificado antes que el otro; porque cualquiera que se ensalza, será humillado; y el que se humilla, será ensalzado.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Or gli recavano anche i bambini, perché li toccasse; ma i discepoli, veduto questo, sgridavano quelli che glieli recavano.

Y traían á él los niños para que los tocase; lo cual viendo los discípulos les reñían.

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

Ma Gesù chiamò a sé i bambini, e disse: Lasciate i piccoli fanciulli venire a me, e non glielo vietate, perché di tali è il regno di Dio.

Mas Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Dejad los niños venir á mí, y no los impidáis; porque de tales es el reino de Dios.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

In verità io vi dico che chiunque non avrà ricevuto il regno di Dio come un piccolo fanciullo, non entrerà punto in esso.

De cierto os digo, que cualquiera que no recibiere el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

E uno dei principali lo interrogò, dicendo: Maestro buono, che farò io per ereditare la vita eterna?

Y preguntóle un príncipe, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para poseer la vida eterna?

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

E Gesù gli disse: Perché mi chiami buono? Nessuno è buono, salvo uno solo, cioè Iddio.

Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? ninguno hay bueno sino sólo Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.

Tu sai i comandamenti: Non commettere adulterio; non uccidere; non rubare; non dir falsa testimonianza; onora tuo padre e tua madre.

Los mandamientos sabes: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”

Ed egli rispose: Tutte queste cose io le ho osservate fin dalla mia giovinezza.

Y él dijo: Todas estas cosas he guardado desde mi juventud.

And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”

E Gesù, udito questo, gli disse: Una cosa ti manca ancora; vendi tutto ciò che hai, e distribuiscilo ai poveri, e tu avrai un tesoro nel cielo; poi vieni e seguitami.

Y Jesús, oído esto, le dijo: Aun te falta una cosa: vende todo lo que tienes, y da á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

Ma egli, udite queste cose, ne fu grandemente attristato, perché era molto ricco.

Entonces él, oídas estas cosas, se puso muy triste, porque era muy rico.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.

E Gesù, vedendolo a quel modo, disse: Quanto malagevolmente coloro che hanno delle ricchezze entreranno nel regno di Dio!

Y viendo Jesús que se había entristecido mucho, dijo: ¡Cuán dificultosamente entrarán en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas!

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!

Poiché è più facile a un cammello passare per la cruna d’un ago, che ad un ricco entrare nel regno di Dio.

Porque más fácil cosa es entrar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entrar en el reino de Dios.

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

E quelli che udiron questo dissero: Chi dunque può esser salvato?

Y los que lo oían, dijeron: ¿Y quién podrá ser salvo?

And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

Ma egli rispose: Le cose impossibili agli uomini sono possibili a Dio.

Y él les dijo: Lo que es imposible para con los hombres, posible es para Dios.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

E Pietro disse: Ecco, noi abbiam lasciato le nostre case, e t’abbiam seguitato.

Entonces Pedro dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado las posesiones nuestras, y te hemos seguido.

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”

Ed egli disse loro: Io vi dico in verità che non v’è alcuno che abbia lasciato casa, o moglie, o fratelli, o genitori, o figliuoli per amor del regno di Dio,

Y él les dijo: De cierto os digo, que nadie hay que haya dejado casa, padres, ó hermanos, ó mujer, ó hijos, por el reino de Dios,

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,

il quale non ne riceva molte volte tanto in questo tempo, e nel secolo avvenire la vita eterna.

Que no haya de recibir mucho más en este tiempo, y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

Poi, presi seco i dodici, disse loro: Ecco, noi saliamo a Gerusalemme, e saranno adempiute rispetto al Figliuol dell’uomo tutte le cose scritte dai profeti;

Y Jesús, tomando á los doce, les dijo: He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y serán cumplidas todas las cosas que fueron escritas por los profetas, del Hijo del hombre.

Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.

poiché egli sarà dato in man de’ Gentili, e sarà schernito ed oltraggiato e gli sputeranno addosso;

Porque será entregado á las gentes, y será escarnecido, é injuriado, y escupido.

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.

e dopo averlo flagellato, l’uccideranno; ma il terzo giorno risusciterà.

Y después que le hubieren azotado, le matarán: mas al tercer día resucitará.

And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

Ed essi non capirono nulla di queste cose; quel parlare era per loro oscuro, e non intendevano le cose dette loro.

Pero ellos nada de estas cosas entendían, y esta palabra les era encubierta, y no entendían lo que se decía.

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.

Or avvenne che com’egli si avvicinava a Gerico, un certo cieco sedeva presso la strada, mendicando;

Y aconteció que acercándose él á Jericó, un ciego estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando;

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.

e, udendo la folla che passava, domandò che cosa fosse.

El cual como oyó la gente que pasaba, preguntó qué era aquello.

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.

E gli fecero sapere che passava Gesù il Nazareno.

Y dijéronle que pasaba Jesús Nazareno.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Allora egli gridò: Gesù figliuol di Davide, abbi pietà di me!

Entonces dió voces, diciendo: Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

E quelli che precedevano lo sgridavano perché tacesse; ma lui gridava più forte: Figliuol di Davide, abbi pietà di me!

Y los que iban delante, le reñían que callase; mas él clamaba mucho más: Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

E Gesù, fermatosi, comandò che gli fosse menato; e quando gli fu vicino, gli domandò:

Jesús entonces parándose, mandó traerle á sí: y como él llegó, le preguntó,

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,

Che vuoi tu ch’io ti faccia? Ed egli disse: Signore, ch’io ricuperi la vista.

Diciendo: ¿Qué quieres que te haga? Y él dijo: Señor, que vea.

Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

“What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”

E Gesù gli disse: Ricupera la vista; la tua fede t’ha salvato.

Y Jesús le dijo: Ve, tu fe te ha hecho salvo.

And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”

E in quell’istante ricuperò la vista, e lo seguiva glorificando Iddio; e tutto il popolo, veduto ciò, diede lode a Dio.

Y luego vió, y le seguía, glorificando á Dios: y todo el pueblo como lo vió, dió á Dios alabanza.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
