Lucas 18

Er sagte ihnen aber auch ein Gleichnis dafür, daß sie allezeit beten und nicht nachlässig werden sollten,

Y PROPÚSOLES también una parábola sobre que es necesario orar siempre, y no desmayar,

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray and not give up,

nämlich: Es war ein Richter in einer Stadt, der Gott nicht fürchtete und sich vor keinem Menschen scheute.

Diciendo: Había un juez en una ciudad, el cual ni temía á Dios, ni respetaba á hombre.

Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

saying, “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t fear God and didn’t respect man.

Es war aber eine Witwe in jener Stadt; die kam zu ihm und sprach: Schaffe mir Recht gegenüber meinem Widersacher!

Había también en aquella ciudad una viuda, la cual venía á él diciendo: Hazme justicia de mi adversario.

And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’

Und er wollte lange nicht; hernach aber sprach er bei sich selbst: Ob ich schon Gott nicht fürchte und mich vor keinem Menschen scheue,

Pero él no quiso por algún tiempo; mas después de esto dijo dentro de sí: Aunque ni temo á Dios, ni tengo respeto á hombre,

And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,

so will ich dennoch, weil mir diese Witwe Mühe macht, ihr Recht schaffen, damit sie nicht schließlich komme und mich ins Gesicht schlage.

Todavía, porque esta viuda me es molesta, le haré justicia, porque al fin no venga y me muela.

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”

Und der Herr sprach: Höret, was der ungerechte Richter sagt!

Y dijo el Señor: Oid lo que dice el juez injusto.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

The Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says.

Sollte aber Gott nicht seinen Auserwählten Recht schaffen, die Tag und Nacht zu ihm rufen, wenn er sie auch lange warten läßt?

¿Y Dios no hará justicia á sus escogidos, que claman á él día y noche, aunque sea longánime acerca de ellos?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

Ich sage euch, er wird ihnen Recht schaffen in Kürze! Doch wenn des Menschen Sohn kommt, wird er auch den Glauben finden auf Erden?

Os digo que los defenderá presto. Empero cuando el Hijo del hombre viniere, ¿hallará fe en la tierra?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

Er sagte aber auch zu etlichen, die sich selbst vertrauten, daß sie gerecht seien, und die übrigen verachteten, dieses Gleichnis:

Y dijo también á unos que confiaban de sí como justos, y menospreciaban á los otros, esta parábola:

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

He also spoke this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others:

Es gingen zwei Menschen hinauf in den Tempel, um zu beten, der eine ein Pharisäer, der andere ein Zöllner.

Dos hombres subieron al templo á orar: el uno Fariseo, el otro publicano.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

“Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.

Der Pharisäer stellte sich hin und betete bei sich selbst also: O Gott, ich danke dir, daß ich nicht bin wie die übrigen Menschen, Räuber, Ungerechte, Ehebrecher, oder auch wie dieser Zöllner.

El Fariseo, en pie, oraba consigo de esta manera: Dios, te doy gracias, que no soy como los otros hombres, ladrones, injustos, adúlteros, ni aun como este publicano;

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

Ich faste zweimal in der Woche und gebe den Zehnten von allem, was ich erwerbe.

Ayuno dos veces á la semana, doy diezmos de todo lo que poseo.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

Und der Zöllner stand von ferne, wagte nicht einmal seine Augen zum Himmel zu erheben, sondern schlug an seine Brust und sprach: O Gott, sei mir Sünder gnädig!

Mas el publicano estando lejos no quería ni aun alzar los ojos al cielo, sino que hería su pecho, diciendo: Dios, sé propicio á mí pecador.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Ich sage euch, dieser ging gerechtfertigt in sein Haus hinab, eher als jener; denn wer sich selbst erhöht, der wird erniedrigt werden, und wer sich selbst erniedrigt, der wird erhöht werden.

Os digo que éste descendió á su casa justificado antes que el otro; porque cualquiera que se ensalza, será humillado; y el que se humilla, será ensalzado.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Sie brachten aber auch Kindlein zu ihm, damit er sie anrühre. Da es aber die Jünger sahen, schalten sie sie.

Y traían á él los niños para que los tocase; lo cual viendo los discípulos les reñían.

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

They were also bringing their babies to him, that he might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

Aber Jesus rief sie zu sich und sprach: Lasset die Kinder zu mir kommen und wehret es ihnen nicht; denn für solche ist das Reich Gottes.

Mas Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Dejad los niños venir á mí, y no los impidáis; porque de tales es el reino de Dios.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer das Reich Gottes nicht annimmt wie ein Kind, wird gar nicht hineinkommen.

De cierto os digo, que cualquiera que no recibiere el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”

Und es fragte ihn ein Oberster und sprach: Guter Meister, was muß ich tun, um das ewige Leben zu ererben?

Y preguntóle un príncipe, diciendo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para poseer la vida eterna?

And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

A certain ruler asked him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

Da sprach Jesus zu ihm: Was nennst du mich gut? Niemand ist gut, als nur Gott allein.

Y Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? ninguno hay bueno sino sólo Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Jesus asked him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except one: God.

Du weißt die Gebote: «Du sollst nicht ehebrechen! Du sollst nicht töten! Du sollst nicht stehlen! Du sollst nicht falsches Zeugnis reden! Ehre deinen Vater und deine Mutter!»

Los mandamientos sabes: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre.

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

You know the commandments: ‘Don’t commit adultery,’ ‘Don’t murder,’ ‘Don’t steal,’ ‘Don’t give false testimony,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”

Er aber sprach: Das habe ich alles gehalten von Jugend an.

Y él dijo: Todas estas cosas he guardado desde mi juventud.

And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

He said, “I have observed all these things from my youth up.”

Da Jesus das hörte, sprach er zu ihm: Eins fehlt dir noch; verkaufe alles, was du hast, und verteile es an die Armen, so wirst du einen Schatz im Himmel haben, und komm, folge mir nach!

Y Jesús, oído esto, le dijo: Aun te falta una cosa: vende todo lo que tienes, y da á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

Als er aber solches hörte, wurde er ganz traurig; denn er war sehr reich.

Entonces él, oídas estas cosas, se puso muy triste, porque era muy rico.

And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.

Als aber Jesus ihn so sah, sprach er: Wie schwer werden die Reichen ins Reich Gottes eingehen!

Y viendo Jesús que se había entristecido mucho, dijo: ¡Cuán dificultosamente entrarán en el reino de Dios los que tienen riquezas!

And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!

Denn es ist leichter, daß ein Kamel durch ein Nadelöhr gehe, als daß ein Reicher in das Reich Gottes komme.

Porque más fácil cosa es entrar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entrar en el reino de Dios.

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”

Da sprachen die, welche es hörten: Wer kann dann gerettet werden?

Y los que lo oían, dijeron: ¿Y quién podrá ser salvo?

And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?”

Er aber sprach: Was bei den Menschen unmöglich ist, das ist bei Gott möglich.

Y él les dijo: Lo que es imposible para con los hombres, posible es para Dios.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Da sprach Petrus: Siehe, wir haben das Unsrige verlassen und sind dir nachgefolgt!

Entonces Pedro dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado las posesiones nuestras, y te hemos seguido.

Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Es ist niemand, der Haus oder Weib oder Brüder oder Eltern oder Kinder verlassen hat um des Reiches Gottes willen,

Y él les dijo: De cierto os digo, que nadie hay que haya dejado casa, padres, ó hermanos, ó mujer, ó hijos, por el reino de Dios,

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,

He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,

der es nicht vielfältig wieder empfinge in dieser Zeit und in der zukünftigen Weltzeit das ewige Leben!

Que no haya de recibir mucho más en este tiempo, y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

Er nahm aber die Zwölf zu sich und sprach zu ihnen: Siehe, wir ziehen hinauf nach Jerusalem, und es wird alles erfüllt werden, was durch die Propheten über den Menschensohn geschrieben ist;

Y Jesús, tomando á los doce, les dijo: He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y serán cumplidas todas las cosas que fueron escritas por los profetas, del Hijo del hombre.

Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be completed.

denn er wird den Heiden überliefert und verspottet und mißhandelt und verspeit werden.

Porque será entregado á las gentes, y será escarnecido, é injuriado, y escupido.

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

For he will be delivered up to the Gentiles, will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit on.

Und sie werden ihn geißeln und töten, und am dritten Tage wird er wieder auferstehen.

Y después que le hubieren azotado, le matarán: mas al tercer día resucitará.

And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

They will scourge and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

Und sie verstanden nichts davon, und diese Rede war ihnen zu geheimnisvoll, und sie begriffen den Ausspruch nicht.

Pero ellos nada de estas cosas entendían, y esta palabra les era encubierta, y no entendían lo que se decía.

And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn’t understand the things that were said.

Es begab sich aber, als er sich Jericho näherte, saß ein Blinder am Wege und bettelte.

Y aconteció que acercándose él á Jericó, un ciego estaba sentado junto al camino mendigando;

And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

As he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the road, begging.

Und da er das Volk vorüberziehen hörte, erkundigte er sich, was das sei.

El cual como oyó la gente que pasaba, preguntó qué era aquello.

And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

Hearing a multitude going by, he asked what this meant.

Da verkündigten sie ihm, Jesus von Nazareth gehe vorüber.

Y dijéronle que pasaba Jesús Nazareno.

And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Und er rief und sprach: Jesus, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich meiner!

Entonces dió voces, diciendo: Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”

Und die vorangingen, bedrohten ihn, er solle schweigen; er aber schrie noch viel mehr: Sohn Davids, erbarme dich meiner!

Y los que iban delante, le reñían que callase; mas él clamaba mucho más: Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí.

And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Those who led the way rebuked him, that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”

Da blieb Jesus stehen und hieß ihn zu sich führen. Und als er herangekommen war, fragte er ihn:

Jesús entonces parándose, mandó traerle á sí: y como él llegó, le preguntó,

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him,

Was willst du, daß ich dir tun soll? Er sprach: Herr, daß ich sehend werde!

Diciendo: ¿Qué quieres que te haga? Y él dijo: Señor, que vea.

Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

“What do you want me to do?” He said, “Lord, that I may see again.”

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Sei sehend! Dein Glaube hat dich gerettet!

Y Jesús le dijo: Ve, tu fe te ha hecho salvo.

And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you.”

Und alsbald wurde er sehend und folgte ihm nach und pries Gott; und alles Volk, das solches sah, lobte Gott.

Y luego vió, y le seguía, glorificando á Dios: y todo el pueblo como lo vió, dió á Dios alabanza.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.
