Jesus estava se aproximando de Jerusalém e contou uma parábola para corrigir a impressão de que o Reino de Deus estava para começar logo.

Y oyendo ellos estas cosas, prosiguió Jesús y dijo una parábola, por cuanto estaba cerca de Jerusalem, y porque pensaban que luego había de ser manifestado el reino de Dios.

And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
