Pourquoi donc n’as-tu pas mis mon argent à la banque, et à mon retour je l’eusse retiré avec l’intérêt ?

¿Por qué, pues, no diste mi dinero al banco, y yo viniendo lo demandara con el logro?

Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?

Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’
