E non trovavano che cosa potesser fare, perciocchè tutto il popolo pendeva dalla sua bocca, ascoltandolo.

Y no hallaban qué hacerle, porque todo el pueblo estaba suspenso oyéndole.

And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

They couldn’t find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
