Después de asecharlo enviaron espías para que fingieran ser justos con el propósito de atraparlo en alguna palabra, a fin de entregarlo a las autoridades.

Y acechándole enviaron espías que se simulasen justos, para sorprenderle en palabras, para que le entregasen al principado y á la potestad del presidente.

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
