Lucas 20

Und sie antworteten, sie wüßten's nicht, wo sie her wäre.

Y ACONTECIÓ un día, que enseñando él al pueblo en el templo, y anunciando el evangelio, llegáronse los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas, con los ancianos;

And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

On one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, the priests and scribes came to him with the elders.

Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: So sage ich euch auch nicht, aus was für Macht ich das tue.

Y le hablaron, diciendo: Dinos: ¿con qué potestad haces estas cosas? ¿ó quién es el que te ha dado esta potestad?

And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

They asked him, “Tell us: by what authority do you do these things? Or who is giving you this authority?”

Er fing aber an zu sagen dem Volk dieses Gleichnis: Ein Mensch pflanzte einen Weinberg und tat ihn den Weingärtnern aus und zog über Land eine gute Zeit.

Respondiendo entonces Jesús, les dijo: Os preguntaré yo también una palabra; respondedme:

And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

He answered them, “I also will ask you one question. Tell me:

Und zu seiner Zeit sandte er einen Knecht zu den Weingärtnern, daß sie ihm gäben von der Frucht des Weinberges. Aber die Weingärtner stäupten ihn und ließen ihn leer von sich.

El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo, ó de los hombres?

The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

the baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?”

Und über das sandte er noch einen andern Knecht; sie aber stäupten denselbigen auch und höhneten ihn und ließen ihn leer von sich.

Mas ellos pensaban dentro de sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, dirá: ¿Por qué, pues, no le creísteis?

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’

Und über das sandte er den dritten; sie aber verwundeten den auch und stießen ihn hinaus.

Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, todo el pueblo nos apedreará: porque están ciertos que Juan era profeta.

But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.”

Da sprach der HERR des Weinberges: Was soll ich tun? Ich will meinen lieben Sohn senden; vielleicht, wenn sie den sehen, werden sie sich scheuen.

Y respondieron que no sabían de dónde.

And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

They answered that they didn’t know where it was from.

Da aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, dachten sie bei sich selbst und sprachen: Das ist der Erbe; kommt, lasset uns ihn töten, daß das Erbe unser sei!

Entonces Jesús les dijo: Ni yo os digo con qué potestad hago estas cosas.

And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Und sie stießen ihn hinaus vor den Weinberg und töteten ihn. Was wird nun der HERR des Weinberges denselbigen tun?

Y comenzó á decir al pueblo esta parábola: Un hombre plantó una viña, y arrendóla á labradores, y se ausentó por mucho tiempo.

Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

He began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.

Er wird kommen und diese Weingärtner umbringen und seinen Weinberg andern austun. Da sie das höreten, sprachen sie: Das sei ferne!

Y al tiempo, envió un siervo á los labradores, para que le diesen del fruto de la viña; mas los labradores le hirieron, y enviaron vacío.

And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.

At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him and sent him away empty.

Er aber sah sie an und sprach: Was ist denn das, das geschrieben stehet: Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, ist zum Eckstein worden?

Y volvió á enviar otro siervo; mas ellos á éste también, herido y afrentado, le enviaron vacío.

And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

He sent yet another servant, and they also beat him and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

Welcher auf diesen Stein fällt, der wird zerschellen; auf welchen aber er fällt den wird er zermalmen.

Y volvió á enviar al tercer siervo; mas ellos también á éste echaron herido.

And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.

He sent yet a third, and they also wounded him and threw him out.

Und die Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten trachteten danach, wie sie die Hände an ihn legten zu derselbigen Stunde, und fürchteten sich vor dem Volk; denn sie vernahmen, daß er auf sie dieses Gleichnis gesagt hatte.

Entonces el señor de la viña dijo: ¿Qué haré? Enviaré mi hijo amado: quizás cuando á éste vieren, tendrán respeto.

Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

The lord of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be that seeing him, they will respect him.’

Und sie hielten auf ihn und sandten Laurer aus, die sich stellen sollten, als wären sie fromm, auf daß sie ihn in der Rede fingen, damit sie ihn überantworten könnten der Obrigkeit und Gewalt des Landpflegers.

Mas los labradores, viéndole, pensaron entre sí, diciendo: Este es el heredero; venid, matémosle para que la heredad sea nuestra.

But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

“But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.’

Und sie fragten ihn und sprachen: Meister, wir wissen, daß du aufrichtig redest und lehrest und achtest keines Menschen Ansehen, sondern du lehrest den Weg Gottes recht.

Y echáronle fuera de la viña, y le mataron. ¿Qué pues, les hará el señor de la viña?

So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

Then they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?

Ist's recht, daß wir dem Kaiser den Schoß geben oder nicht?

Vendrá, y destruirá á estos labradores, y dará su viña á otros. Y como ellos lo oyeron, dijeron: ¡Dios nos libre!

He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard that, they said, “May that never be!”

Er aber merkte ihre List und sprach zu ihnen: Was versuchet ihr mich?

Mas él mirándolos, dice: ¿Qué pues es lo que está escrito: La piedra que condenaron los edificadores, ésta fué por cabeza de esquina?

And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

But he looked at them and said, “Then what is this that is written, ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the chief cornerstone’?

Zeiget mir den Groschen; wes Bild und Überschrift hat er? Sie antworteten und sprachen: Des Kaisers.

Cualquiera que cayere sobre aquella piedra, será quebrantado; mas sobre el que la piedra cayere, le desmenuzará.

Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, but it will crush whomever it falls on to dust.”

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: So gebet dem Kaiser, was des Kaisers ist, und Gott, was Gottes ist.

Y procuraban los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas echarle mano en aquella hora, porque entendieron que contra ellos había dicho esta parábola: mas temieron al pueblo.

And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

The chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people—for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.

Und sie konnten sein Wort nicht tadeln vor dem Volk und verwunderten sich seiner Antwort und schwiegen stille.

Y acechándole enviaron espías que se simulasen justos, para sorprenderle en palabras, para que le entregasen al principado y á la potestad del presidente.

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

They watched him and sent out spies, who pretended to be righteous, that they might trap him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the power and authority of the governor.

Da traten zu ihm etliche der Sadduzäer, welche da halten, es sei kein Auferstehen, und fragten ihn

Los cuales le preguntaron, diciendo: Maestro, sabemos que dices y enseñas bien, y que no tienes respeto á persona; antes enseñas el camino de Dios con verdad.

And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:

They asked him, “Teacher, we know that you say and teach what is right, and aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God.

und sprachen: Meister, Mose hat uns geschrieben: So jemands Bruder stirbt, der ein Weib hat, und stirbt erblos, so soll sein Bruder das Weib nehmen und seinem Bruder einen Samen erwecken.

¿Nos es lícito dar tributo á César, ó no?

Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Cæsar, or no?

Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

Nun waren sieben Brüder. Der erste nahm ein Weib und starb erblos.

Mas él, entendiendo la astucia de ellos, les dijo: ¿Por qué me tentáis?

But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?

But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?

Und der andere nahm das Weib und starb auch erblos.

Mostradme la moneda. ¿De quién tiene la imagen y la inscripción? Y respondiendo dijeron: De César.

Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Cæsar’s.

Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” They answered, “Caesar’s.”

Und der dritte nahm sie. Desselbigengleichen alle sieben und ließen keine Kinder und starben.

Entonces les dijo: Pues dad á César lo que es de César; y lo que es de Dios, á Dios.

And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which be Cæsar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.

He said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

Zuletzt nach allen starb auch das Weib.

Y no pudieron reprender sus palabras delante del pueblo: antes maravillados de su respuesta, callaron.

And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.

They weren’t able to trap him in his words before the people. They marveled at his answer and were silent.

Nun in der Auferstehung, wessen Weib wird sie sein unter denen? Denn alle sieben haben sie zum Weibe gehabt.

Y llegándose unos de los Saduceos, los cuales niegan haber resurrección, le preguntaron,

Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,

Some of the Sadducees came to him, those who deny that there is a resurrection.

Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Die Kinder dieser Welt freien und lassen sich freien;

Diciendo: Maestro, Moisés nos escribió: Si el hermano de alguno muriere teniendo mujer, y muriere sin hijos, que su hermano tome la mujer, y levante simiente á su hermano.

Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

They asked him, “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should take the wife and raise up children for his brother.

welche aber würdig sein werden, jene Welt zu erlangen und die Auferstehung von den Toten, die werden weder freien noch sich freien lassen.

Fueron, pues, siete hermanos: y el primero tomó mujer, y murió sin hijos.

There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.

There were therefore seven brothers. The first took a wife, and died childless.

Denn sie können hinfort nicht sterben; denn sie sind den Engeln gleich und Gottes Kinder, dieweil sie Kinder sind der Auferstehung.

Y la tomó el segundo, el cual también murió sin hijos.

And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.

The second took her as wife, and he died childless.

Daß aber die Toten auferstehen, hat auch Mose gedeutet bei dem Busch, da er den HERRN heißet Gott Abrahams und Gott Isaaks und Gott Jakobs.

Y la tomó el tercero: asimismo también todos siete: y murieron sin dejar prole.

And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.

The third took her, and likewise the seven all left no children, and died.

Gott aber ist nicht der Toten, sondern der Lebendigen Gott; denn sie leben ihm alle.

Y á la postre de todos murió también la mujer.

Last of all the woman died also.

Afterward the woman also died.

Da antworteten etliche der Schriftgelehrten und sprachen: Meister, du hast recht gesagt.

En la resurrección, pues, ¿mujer de cuál de ellos será? porque los siete la tuvieron por mujer.

Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.

Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them will she be? For the seven had her as a wife.”

Und sie durften ihn fürder nichts mehr fragen.

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Los hijos de este siglo se casan, y son dados en casamiento:

And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

Jesus said to them, “The children of this age marry and are given in marriage.

Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Wie sagen sie, Christus sei Davids Sohn?

Mas los que fueren tenidos por dignos de aquel siglo y de la resurrección de los muertos, ni se casan, ni son dados en casamiento:

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.

Und er selbst, David, spricht im Psalmbuch: Der HERR hat gesagt zu meinem HERRN: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten,

Porque no pueden ya más morir: porque son iguales á los ángeles, y son hijos de Dios, cuando son hijos de la resurrección.

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.

bis daß ich lege deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße.

Y que los muertos hayan de resucitar, aun Moisés lo enseñó en el pasaje de la zarza, cuando llama al Señor: Dios de Abraham, y Dios de Isaac, y Dios de Jacob.

Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

David nennet ihn einen HERRN, wie ist er denn sein Sohn?

Porque Dios no es Dios de muertos, mas de vivos: porque todos viven á él.

For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”

Da aber alles Volk zuhörete, sprach er zu seinen Jüngern:

Y respondiéndole unos de los escribas, dijeron: Maestro, bien has dicho.

Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

Some of the scribes answered, “Teacher, you speak well.”

Hütet euch vor den Schriftgelehrten, die da wollen einhertreten in langen Kleidern und lassen sich gerne grüßen auf dem Markte und sitzen gerne obenan in den Schulen und über Tisch.

Y no osaron más preguntarle algo.

And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

They didn’t dare to ask him any more questions.

Sie fressen der Witwen Häuser und wenden lange Gebete vor; die werden desto schwerere Verdammnis empfangen.

Y él les dijo: ¿Cómo dicen que el Cristo es hijo de David?

And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son?

He said to them, “Why do they say that the Christ is David’s son?

Er sah aber auf und schauete die Reichen, wie sie ihre Opfer einlegten in den Gotteskasten.

Y el mismo David dice en el libro de los Salmos: Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra,

And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,

Er sah aber auch eine arme Witwe, die legte zwei Scherflein ein.

Entre tanto que pongo tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’

Und er sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, diese arme Witwe hat mehr denn sie alle eingelegt.

Así que David le llama Señor: ¿cómo pues es su hijo?

David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

“David therefore calls him Lord, so how is he his son?”

Denn diese alle haben aus ihrem Überfluß eingelegt zu dem Opfer Gottes; sie aber hat von ihrer Armut alle ihre Nahrung, die sie hatte, eingelegt.

Y oyéndole todo el pueblo, dijo á sus discípulos:

Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

In the hearing of all the people, he said to his disciples,

Und da etliche sagten von dem Tempel, daß er geschmückt wäre von feinen Steinen und Kleinoden, sprach er:

Guardaos de los escribas, que quieren andar con ropas largas, y aman las salutaciones en las plazas, y las primeras sillas en las sinagogas, y los primeros asientos en las cenas;

Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

“Beware of those scribes who like to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts;

Es wird die Zeit kommen, in welcher des alles, das ihr sehet, nicht ein Stein auf dem andern gelassen wird, der nicht zerbrochen werde.

Que devoran las casas de las viudas, poniendo por pretexto la larga oración: éstos recibirán mayor condenación.

Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
