“Vigiem! Que a minha vinda repentina não apanhe vocês desprevenidos e eu não encontre vocês vivendo à toa, em festas e bebedeiras, ou ocupados com os problemas desta vida.

Y mirad por vosotros, que vuestros corazones no sean cargados de glotonería y embriaguez, y de los cuidados de esta vida, y venga de repente sobre vosotros aquel día.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

“So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
