Als er dann aufblickte, sah er, wie die Reichen ihre Gaben in den Opferkasten einlegten.

And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.

He looked up and saw the rich people who were putting their gifts into the treasury.

Da sah er auch eine arme Witwe dort zwei Scherflein hineintun

Y vió también una viuda pobrecilla, que echaba allí dos blancas.

And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

He saw a certain poor widow casting in two small brass coins.

und sagte: »Wahrlich ich sage euch: Diese arme Witwe hat mehr als alle anderen eingelegt;

Y dijo: De verdad os digo, que esta pobre viuda echó más que todos:

And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow put in more than all of them,

denn jene haben alle aus ihrem Überfluß eine Gabe in den Gotteskasten getan, sie aber hat aus ihrer Dürftigkeit alles eingelegt, was sie zum Lebensunterhalt besaß.«

Porque todos estos, de lo que les sobra echaron para las ofrendas de Dios; mas ésta de su pobreza echó todo el sustento que tenía.

For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

for all these put in gifts for God from their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, put in all that she had to live on.”

Als einige dann vom Tempel sagten, er sei (ein Prachtbau) mit herrlichen Steinen und Weihgeschenken geschmückt, antwortete er:

Y á unos que decían del templo, que estaba adornado de hermosas piedras y dones, dijo:

And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

As some were talking about the temple and how it was decorated with beautiful stones and gifts, he said,

»Was ihr da anschaut – es werden Tage kommen, an denen kein Stein auf dem andern liegen bleibt, der nicht niedergerissen wird.«

Estas cosas que veis, días vendrán que no quedará piedra sobre piedra que no sea destruída.

As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

“As for these things which you see, the days will come in which there will not be left here one stone on another that will not be thrown down.”

Da richteten sie die Frage an ihn: »Meister, wann wird dies denn geschehen, und welches ist das Anzeichen dafür, wann dies eintreten wird?«

Y le preguntaron, diciendo: Maestro, ¿cuándo será esto? ¿y qué señal habrá cuando estas cosas hayan de comenzar á ser hechas?

And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

They asked him, “Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?”

Da antwortete er: »Seht zu, daß ihr nicht irregeführt werdet! Denn viele werden unter meinem Namen kommen und sagen: ›Ich bin es‹, und ›Die Zeit ist nahe!‹ Lauft ihnen nicht nach!

El entonces dijo: Mirad, no seáis engañados; porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy; y, El tiempo está cerca: por tanto, no vayáis en pos de ellos.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

He said, “Watch out that you don’t get led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is at hand.’ Therefore don’t follow them.

Wenn ihr ferner von Kriegen und Aufständen hört, so laßt euch dadurch nicht erschrecken! Denn das muß zuerst kommen, aber das Ende ist dann noch nicht sogleich da.«

Empero cuando oyereis guerras y sediciones, no os espantéis; porque es necesario que estas cosas acontezcan primero: mas no luego será el fin.

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”

Hierauf fuhr er fort: »Ein Volk wird sich gegen das andere erheben und ein Reich gegen das andere;

Entonces les dijo: Se levantará gente contra gente, y reino contra reino;

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

auch gewaltige Erdbeben werden stattfinden und hier und da Hungersnöte und Seuchen; auch schreckhafte Erscheinungen und große Zeichen vom Himmel her werden erfolgen.«

Y habrá grandes terremotos, y en varios lugares hambres y pestilencias: y habrá espantos y grandes señales del cielo.

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

There will be great earthquakes, famines, and plagues in various places. There will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

»Aber ehe alles dies geschieht, wird man Hand an euch legen und euch verfolgen, indem man euch an die Synagogen und Gefängnisse überantwortet und euch vor Könige und Statthalter führt um meines Namens willen.

Mas antes de todas estas cosas os echarán mano, y perseguirán, entregándoos á las sinagogas y á las cárceles, siendo llevados á los reyes y á los gobernadores por causa de mi nombre.

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.

Da wird euch dann Gelegenheit geboten werden, Zeugnis (für mich) abzulegen.

Y os será para testimonio.

And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

It will turn out as a testimony for you.

So beherzigt denn (die Warnung) wohl, daß ihr euch nicht im voraus Sorge über die Art eurer Verteidigung machet;

Poned pues en vuestros corazones no pensar antes cómo habéis de responder:

Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:

Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand how to answer,

denn ich selbst werde euch Redegabe und Weisheit verleihen, der alle eure Widersacher nicht zu widerstehen noch zu widersprechen imstande sein sollen.

Porque yo os daré boca y sabiduría, á la cual no podrán resistir ni contradecir todos los que se os opondrán.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.

Ihr werdet aber sogar von Eltern und Geschwistern, von Verwandten und Freunden überantwortet werden, ja man wird manche von euch töten,

Mas seréis entregados aun de vuestros padres, y hermanos, y parientes, y amigos; y matarán á algunos de vosotros.

And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.

und ihr werdet allen um meines Namens willen verhaßt sein.

Y seréis aborrecidos de todos por causa de mi nombre.

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake.

Doch es soll kein Haar von eurem Haupte verlorengehen:

Mas un pelo de vuestra cabeza no perecerá.

But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

And not a hair of your head will perish.

durch standhaftes Ausharren werdet ihr euch das Leben gewinnen.«

En vuestra paciencia poseeréis vuestras almas.

In your patience possess ye your souls.

“By your endurance you will win your lives.

»Wenn ihr aber Jerusalem von Kriegsheeren umlagert seht, dann erkennet daran, daß seine Zerstörung nahe bevorsteht.

Y cuando viereis á Jerusalem cercada de ejércitos, sabed entonces que su destrucción ha llegado.

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.

Dann sollen die (Gläubigen) in Judäa ins Gebirge fliehen und die Bewohner (der Hauptstadt) auswandern und die auf dem Lande Wohnenden nicht in die Stadt hineinziehen;

Entonces los que estuvieren en Judea, huyan á los montes; y los que en medio de ella, váyanse; y los que estén en los campos, no entren en ella.

Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the middle of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.

denn dies sind die Tage der Vergeltung, damit alles in Erfüllung gehe, was in der Schrift steht.

Porque estos son días de venganza: para que se cumplan todas las cosas que están escritas.

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Wehe den Frauen, die in jenen Tagen guter Hoffnung sind, und den Müttern, die ein Kind zu nähren haben! Denn große Not wird im Lande herrschen und ein Zorngericht über dieses Volk ergehen;

Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días! porque habrá apuro grande sobre la tierra é ira en este pueblo.

But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath to this people.

und sie werden durch die Schärfe des Schwertes fallen und in die Gefangenschaft unter alle Heidenvölker weggeführt werden, und Jerusalem wird von Heiden zertreten werden, bis die Zeiten der Heiden abgelaufen sind.«

Y caerán á filo de espada, y serán llevados cautivos á todas las naciones: y Jerusalem será hollada de las gentes, hasta que los tiempos de las gentes sean cumplidos.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

»Dann werden Zeichen an Sonne, Mond und Sternen in Erscheinung treten und auf der Erde wird Verzweiflung der Völker in ratloser Angst beim Brausen des Meeres und seines Wogenschwalls herrschen,

Entonces habrá señales en el sol, y en la luna, y en las estrellas; y en la tierra angustia de gentes por la confusión del sonido de la mar y de las ondas:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

“There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves;

indem Menschen den Geist aufgeben vor Furcht und in banger Erwartung der Dinge, die über den Erdkreis kommen werden; denn (sogar) die Kräfte des Himmels werden in Erschütterung geraten.

Secándose los hombres á causa del temor y expectación de las cosas que sobrevendrán á la redondez de la tierra: porque las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.

Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

men fainting for fear and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Und hierauf wird man den Menschensohn in einer Wolke kommen sehen mit großer Macht und Herrlichkeit.

Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre, que vendrá en una nube con potestad y majestad grande.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Wenn dies nun zu geschehen beginnt, dann richtet euch auf und hebt eure Häupter empor; denn eure Erlösung naht.«

Y cuando estas cosas comenzaren á hacerse, mirad, y levantad vuestras cabezas, porque vuestra redención está cerca.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

But when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near.”

Er sagte ihnen dann noch ein Gleichnis: »Seht den Feigenbaum und alle anderen Bäume an:

Y díjoles una parábola: Mirad la higuera y todos los árboles:

And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

He told them a parable. “See the fig tree and all the trees.

sobald sie ausschlagen, erkennt ihr, wenn ihr es seht, von selbst, daß nunmehr der Sommer nahe ist.

Cuando ya brotan, viéndolo, de vosotros mismos entendéis que el verano está ya cerca.

When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near.

So sollt auch ihr, wenn ihr alles dieses eintreten seht, erkennen, daß das Reich Gottes nahe ist.

Así también vosotros, cuando viereis hacerse estas cosas, entended que está cerca el reino de Dios.

So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that God’s Kingdom is near.

Wahrlich ich sage euch: Dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis alles geschieht.

De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo sea hecho.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished.

Himmel und Erde werden vergehen, aber meine Worte werden nimmermehr vergehen!«

El cielo y la tierra pasarán; mas mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.

»Habt aber auf euch selbst acht, daß eure Herzen nicht etwa durch Schlemmerei und Trunkenheit und Sorgen des Lebens beschwert werden und jener Tag euch unvermutet überfalle wie eine Schlinge;

Y mirad por vosotros, que vuestros corazones no sean cargados de glotonería y embriaguez, y de los cuidados de esta vida, y venga de repente sobre vosotros aquel día.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

“So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.

denn hereinbrechen wird er über alle Bewohner der ganzen Erde.

Porque como un lazo vendrá sobre todos los que habitan sobre la faz de toda la tierra.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth.

Seid also allezeit wachsam und betet darum, daß ihr die Kraft empfanget, diesem allem, was da kommen soll, zu entrinnen und vor den Menschensohn hinzutreten!«

Velad pues, orando en todo tiempo, que seáis tenidos por dignos de evitar todas estas cosas que han de venir, y de estar en pie delante del Hijo del hombre.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Tagsüber war Jesus im Tempel, wo er lehrte; an jedem Abend aber ging er (aus der Stadt) hinaus und übernachtete am sogenannten Ölberg;

Y enseñaba de día en el templo; y de noche saliendo, estábase en el monte que se llama de las Olivas.

And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

Every day Jesus was teaching in the temple, and every night he would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.

und das ganze Volk kam schon frühmorgens zu ihm, um ihm im Tempel zuzuhören.

Y todo el pueblo venía á él por la mañana, para oirle en el templo.

And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
