Estava perto a festa dos pães sem fermento, chamada de páscoa.

Y ESTABA cerca el día de la fiesta de los ázimos, que se llama la Pascua.

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

E os chefes dos sacerdotes, e os escribas procuravam um meio de o matar, pois eles temiam ao povo.

Y los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas buscaban cómo le matarían; mas tenían miedo del pueblo.

And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

E Satanás entrou no Judas que era chamado Iscariotes, que era um dos doze.

Y entró Satanás en Judas, por sobrenombre Iscariote, el cual era uno del número de los doce;

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

Satan entered into Judas, who was also called Iscariot, who was counted with the twelve.

E foi, e falou com os chefes dos sacerdotes e os oficiais, sobre como o entregaria para eles.

Y fué, y habló con los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y con los magistrados, de cómo se lo entregaría.

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

He went away and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.

E estes se alegraram, e concordaram em lhe dar dinheiro.

Los cuales se holgaron, y concertaron de darle dinero.

And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

They were glad, and agreed to give him money.

E lhes prometeu, e buscava oportunidade para o entregar quando não houvesse uma multidão.

Y prometió, y buscaba oportunidad para entregarle á ellos sin bulla.

And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

He consented and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the multitude.

E veio o dia dos pães sem fermento, em que se devia fazer o sacrifício da páscoa.

Y vino el día de los ázimos, en el cual era necesario matar la pascua.

Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover must be sacrificed.

E Jesus mandou a Pedro, e a João, dizendo: Ide, preparai-nos a páscoa, para que a comamos.

Y envió á Pedro y á Juan, diciendo: Id, aparejadnos la pascua para que comamos.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

E eles lhe disseram: Onde queres que a preparemos?

Y ellos le dijeron: ¿Dónde quieres que aparejemos?

And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

They said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”

E ele lhes disse: Eis que, quando entrardes na cidade, um homem com um vaso de água vos encontrará; segui-o até a casa onde ele entrar.

Y él les dijo: He aquí cuando entrareis en la ciudad, os encontrará un hombre que lleva un cántaro de agua: seguidle hasta la casa donde entrare,

And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.

E direis ao dono da casa: O Mestre te diz: Onde está o salão onde comerei a páscoa com meus discípulos?

Y decid al padre de la familia de la casa: El Maestro te dice: ¿Dónde está el aposento donde tengo de comer la pascua con mis discípulos?

And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

Então ele vos mostrará um grande salão já arrumado; preparai-a ali.

Entonces él os mostrará un gran cenáculo aderezado; aparejad allí.

And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.”

E indo eles, acharam como lhes tinha dito; e prepararam a páscoa.

Fueron pues, y hallaron como les había dicho; y aparejaron la pascua.

And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

They went, found things as Jesus had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

E vinda a hora, sentou-se à mesa ,e com ele os doze apóstolos.

Y como fué hora, sentóse á la mesa, y con él los apóstoles.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.

E disse-lhes: Muito desejei comer convosco esta páscoa, antes que eu sofra.

Y les dijo: En gran manera he deseado comer con vosotros esta pascua antes que padezca;

And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,

Porque eu vos digo, que dela não mais comerei, até que isto se cumpra no Reino de Deus.

Porque os digo que no comeré más de ella, hasta que se cumpla en el reino de Dios.

For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in God’s Kingdom.”

E tomando o copo, e tendo agradecido a Deus ,disse: Tomai-o, e reparti -o entre vós.

Y tomando el vaso, habiendo dado gracias, dijo: Tomad esto, y partidlo entre vosotros;

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves,

Porque vos digo, que do fruto da videira eu não beberei, até que o Reino de Deus venha.

Porque os digo, que no beberé más del fruto de la vid, hasta que el reino de Dios venga.

For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until God’s Kingdom comes.”

E tomando o pão, e tendo agradecido a Deus ,partiu-o, e o deu a eles, dizendo: Isto é o meu corpo, que é dado por vós; fazei isto em memória de mim.

Y tomando el pan, habiendo dado gracias, partió, y les dió, diciendo: Esto es mi cuerpo, que por vosotros es dado: haced esto en memoria de mí.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

De modo semelhante também com o copo, depois da ceia, disse: Este copo é o Novo Testamento em meu sangue, que é derramado por vós.

Asimismo también el vaso, después que hubo cenado, diciendo: Este vaso es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre, que por vosotros se derrama.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Porém eis que a mão do que me trai está comigo à mesa.

Con todo eso, he aquí la mano del que me entrega, conmigo en la mesa.

But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.

E realmente o Filho do homem vai conforme o que está determinado; mas ai daquele homem por quem é traído!

Y á la verdad el Hijo del hombre va, según lo que está determinado; empero ¡ay de aquel hombre por el cual es entregado!

And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

The Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”

E começaram a perguntar entre si, qual deles seria o que faria isto.

Ellos entonces comenzaron á preguntar entre sí, cuál de ellos sería el que había de hacer esto.

And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

They began to question among themselves which of them it was who would do this thing.

E houve também uma briga entre eles, sobre qual deles era considerado o maior.

Y hubo entre ellos una contienda, quién de ellos parecía ser el mayor.

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

A dispute also arose among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.

E Jesus lhes disse: Os reis dos gentios os dominam, e os que exercem autoridade sobre eles são chamados de benfeitores;

Entonces él les dijo: Los reyes de las gentes se enseñorean de ellas; y los que sobre ellas tienen potestad, son llamados bienhechores:

And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

He said to them, “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’

Mas não seja assim entre vós; antes o maior de vós seja como o menor; e o que lidera, como o que serve.

Mas vosotros, no así: antes el que es mayor entre vosotros, sea como el más mozo; y el que es príncipe, como el que sirve.

But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

But not so with you. Rather, the one who is greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.

Porque qual é maior? O que se senta à mesa ,ou o que serve? Por acaso não é o que se senta à mesa ? Porém eu estou entre vós como aquele que serve.

Porque, ¿cuál es mayor, el que se sienta á la mesa, ó el que sirve? ¿No es el que se sienta á la mesa? Y yo soy entre vosotros como el que sirve.

For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

E vós sois os que tendes permanecido comigo em minhas tentações.

Empero vosotros sois los que habéis permanecido conmigo en mis tentaciones:

Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

“But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.

E eu vos determino um Reino, assim como meu pai o determinou a mim.

Yo pues os ordeno un reino, como mi Padre me lo ordenó á mí,

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,

Para que em meu Reino, comais e bebais à minha mesa; e vos senteis sobre tronos, julgando as doze tribos de Israel.

Para que comáis y bebáis en mi mesa en mi reino, y os sentéis sobre tronos juzgando á las doce tribus de Israel.

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Disse também o Senhor: Simão, Simão; eis que Satanás vos pediu, para vos peneirar como trigo;

Dijo también el Señor: Simón, Simón, he aquí Satanás os ha pedido para zarandaros como á trigo;

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,

Mas eu roguei por ti, que tua fé não se acabe; e quando tu te converteres, fortaleça teus irmãos.

Mas yo he rogado por ti que tu fe no falte: y tú, una vez vuelto, confirma á tus hermanos.

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”

E ele lhe disse: Senhor, estou preparado para ir contigo até à prisão, e à morte.

Y él le dijo: Señor, pronto estoy á ir contigo aun á cárcel y á muerte.

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

He said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

Mas ele disse: Pedro, eu te digo que hoje o galo não cantará, antes que me negues três vezes que me conheces.

Y él dijo: Pedro, te digo que el gallo no cantará hoy antes que tú niegues tres veces que me conoces.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”

E disse a eles: Quando vos mandei sem bolsa, e sem sacola, e sem sandálias, por acaso algo vos faltou?E disseram: Nada.

Y á ellos dijo: Cuando os envié sin bolsa, y sin alforja, y sin zapatos, ¿os faltó algo? Y ellos dijeron: Nada.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

Então, ele lhes disse: Mas agora, quem tem bolsa, tome-a, como também a sacola; e o que não tem espada, venda sua roupa, e compre uma.

Y les dijo: Pues ahora, el que tiene bolsa, tómela, y también la alforja, y el que no tiene, venda su capa y compre espada.

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

Porque eu vos digo, que ainda é necessário que se cumpra em mim aquilo que está escrito: E ele foi contado com os malfeitores. Porque aquilo que é sobre mim tem que se cumprir.

Porque os digo, que es necesario que se cumpla todavía en mí aquello que está escrito: Y con los malos fué contado: porque lo que está escrito de mí, cumplimiento tiene.

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted with transgressors.’ For that which concerns me is being fulfilled.”

E eles disseram: Senhor, eis aqui duas espadas.E ele lhes disse: É o suficiente.

Entonces ellos dijeron: Señor, he aquí dos espadas. Y él les dijo: Basta.

And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

They said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords.” He said to them, “That is enough.”

E saindo, foi, como de costume, para o monte das Oliveiras; e os seus discípulos também o seguiram.

Y saliendo, se fué, como solía, al monte de las Olivas; y sus discípulos también le siguieron.

And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

He came out and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.

E quando chegou a aquele lugar, disse-lhes: Orai para que não entreis em tentação.

Y como llegó á aquel lugar, les dijo: Orad que no entréis en tentación.

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

E se afastou deles, à distância de um tiro de pedra. E pondo-se de joelhos, orava,

Y él se apartó de ellos como un tiro de piedra; y puesto de rodillas oró,

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

Dizendo: Pai, se tu quiseres, passa este copo de mim; porém não se faça minha vontade, mas a tua.

Diciendo: Padre, si quieres, pasa este vaso de mí; empero no se haga mi voluntad, sino la tuya.

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

E apareceu-lhe um anjo do céu, que o fortalecia.

Y le apareció un ángel del cielo confortándole.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.

E estando em angústia, orava mais intensamente. E seu suor se fez como gotas de sangue, que desciam até o chão.

Y estando en agonía, oraba más intensamente: y fué su sudor como grandes gotas de sangre que caían hasta la tierra.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.

E ele, levantando-se da oração, veio a seus discípulos, e os achou dormindo por causa da tristeza.

Y como se levantó de la oración, y vino á sus discípulos, hallólos durmiendo de tristeza;

And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief,

E disse-lhes: Por que estais dormindo? Levantai-vos, e orai, para que não entreis em tentação.

Y les dijo: ¿Por qué dormís? Levantaos, y orad que no entréis en tentación.

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

E enquanto ele ainda estava falando, eis que uma multidão chegou ; e um dos doze, o que se chamava Judas, ia adiante deles, e se aproximou de Jesus, para o beijar.

Estando él aún hablando, he aquí una turba; y el que se llamaba Judas, uno de los doce, iba delante de ellos; y llegóse á Jesús para besarlo.

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared. He who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.

E Jesus lhe disse: Judas, com um beijo trais ao Filho do homem?

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Judas, ¿con beso entregas al Hijo del hombre?

But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

E os que estavam com ele, vendo o que iria acontecer, disseram-lhe: Senhor, feriremos com a espada?

Y viendo los que estaban con él lo que había de ser, le dijeron: Señor, ¿heriremos á cuchillo?

When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

E um deles feriu a um servo do chefe dos sacerdotes, e cortou-lhe a orelha direita.

Y uno de ellos hirió á un siervo del príncipe de los sacerdotes, y le quitó la oreja derecha.

And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

E respondendo Jesus, disse: Para com isto! E tocando-lhe a orelha, o curou.

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Dejad hasta aquí. Y tocando su oreja, le sanó.

And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

But Jesus answered, “Let me at least do this”—and he touched his ear and healed him.

E disse Jesus aos chefes dos sacerdotes, e aos oficiais do Templo, e aos anciãos, que tinham vindo contra ele: Como se eu fosse ladrão, saístes com espadas e bastões?

Y Jesús dijo á los que habían venido á él, los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los magistrados del templo, y los ancianos: ¿Como á ladrón habéis salido con espadas y con palos?

Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

Estando eu convosco todo dia no Templo, contra mim não me prendestes; mas esta é a vossa hora, e sob a autoridade das trevas.

Habiendo estado con vosotros cada día en el templo, no extendisteis las manos contra mí; mas ésta es vuestra hora, y la potestad de las tinieblas.

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

E prendendo-o, o trouxeram e o puseram na casa do sumo sacerdote. E Pedro o seguia de longe.

Y prendiéndole trajéronle, y metiéronle en casa del príncipe de los sacerdotes. Y Pedro le seguía de lejos.

Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.

They seized him and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed from a distance.

E acenderam fogo no meio do pátio, e sentaram-se juntos, e Pedro se sentou entre eles.

Y habiendo encendido fuego en medio de la sala, y sentándose todos alrededor, se sentó también Pedro entre ellos.

And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.

E uma serva, vendo-o sentado junto ao fogo, fixando o olhos nele, disse: Este também estava com ele.

Y como una criada le vió que estaba sentado al fuego, fijóse en él, y dijo: Y éste con él estaba.

But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”

Porém ele o negou, dizendo: Mulher, eu não o conheço.

Entonces él lo negó, diciendo: Mujer, no le conozco.

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

He denied Jesus, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.”

E pouco depois, outro o viu, e disse: Também tu és um deles.

Y un poco después, viéndole otro, dijo: Y tú de ellos eras. Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no soy.

And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

After a little while someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter answered, “Man, I am not!”

E quando já tinha passado quase uma hora, outro afirmava, dizendo: Verdadeiramente também este estava com ele, porque também é galileu.

Y como una hora pasada otro afirmaba, diciendo: Verdaderamente también éste estaba con él, porque es Galileo.

And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilæan.

After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!”

E Pedro disse: Homem, não sei o que dizes.E logo, estando ele ainda falando, cantou o galo.

Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no sé qué dices. Y luego, estando él aún hablando, el gallo cantó.

And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

E o Senhor, virando-se, olhou para Pedro; e Pedro se lembrou da palavra do Senhor, como lhe tinha dito: Antes que o galo cante, tu me negarás três vezes.

Entonces, vuelto el Señor, miró á Pedro: y Pedro se acordó de la palabra del Señor como le había dicho: Antes que el gallo cante, me negarás tres veces.

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

The Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord’s word, how he said to him, “Before the rooster crows you will deny me three times.”

E Pedro, saindo, chorou amargamente.

Y saliendo fuera Pedro, lloró amargamente.

And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

He went out, and wept bitterly.

E os homens que tinham prendido a Jesus zombavam dele, ferindo-o;

Y los hombres que tenían á Jesús, se burlaban de él hiriéndole;

And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

The men who held Jesus mocked him and beat him.

E cobrindo-o, perguntavam, dizendo: Profetiza, quem é o que te feriu?

Y cubriéndole, herían su rostro, y preguntábanle, diciendo: Profetiza quién es el que te hirió.

And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Having blindfolded him, they struck him on the face and asked him, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?”

E diziam muitas outras coisas contra ele, insultando-o.

Y decían otras muchas cosas injuriándole.

And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.

E quando já era de dia, juntaram-se os anciãos do povo, e os chefes dos sacerdotes, e os escribas, e o trouxeram ao seu conselho,

Y cuando fué de día, se juntaron los ancianos del pueblo, y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y le trajeron á su concilio,

And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

As soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people were gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,

Dizendo Tu és o Cristo? Dize-nos.E ele lhes disse: Se eu vos disser, não o crereis.

Diciendo: ¿Eres tú el Cristo? dínoslo. Y les dijo: Si os lo dijere, no creeréis;

Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

“If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe,

E também se eu perguntar, não me respondereis, nem me soltareis.

Y también si os preguntare, no me responderéis, ni me soltaréis:

And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.

A partir de agora o Filho do homem se sentará à direita do poder de Deus.

Mas después de ahora el Hijo del hombre se asentará á la diestra de la potencia de Dios.

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

E todos disseram: Então tu és o Filho de Deus?E ele lhes disse: Vós dizeis que eu sou.

Y dijeron todos: ¿Luego tú eres Hijo de Dios? Y él les dijo: Vosotros decís que yo soy.

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”

E eles disseram: Para que precisamos de mais testemunho? Pois nós mesmos o ouvimos de sua boca.

Entonces ellos dijeron: ¿Qué más testimonio deseamos? porque nosotros lo hemos oído de su boca.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

They said, “Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!”
