Wir aber hatten gehofft, daß er es sei, der Israel erlösen würde; aber nun ist bei dem allem heute schon der dritte Tag, seit dies geschehen ist.

Mas nosotros esperábamos que él era el que había de redimir á Israel: y ahora sobre todo esto, hoy es el tercer día que esto ha acontecido.

But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
