Dann öffnete er ihren Sinn (Verstand), die Schriften zu verstehen.

Entonces les abrió el sentido, para que entendiesen las Escrituras;

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
