Lucas 2

Et Siméon les bénit, et il dit à Marie, sa mère : " Voici qu`il est placé pour la chute et le relèvement d`un grand nombre en Israël, et pour être un signe en butte à la contradiction, -

Y los bendijo Simeón, y dijo á su madre María: He aquí, éste es puesto para caída y para levantamiento de muchos en Israel; y para señal á la que será contradicho;

And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against.
