Lucas 2

Naqueles dias, o Imperador César Augusto enviou um decreto ordenando que houvesse um censo de todas as pessoas que viviam no mundo habitado.

Y ACONTECIÓ en aquellos días que salió edicto de parte de Augusto César, que toda la tierra fuese empadronada.

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cæsar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Isto foi feito, pela primeira vez, quando Quirino era o governador da Síria.

Este empadronamiento primero fué hecho siendo Cirenio gobernador de la Siria.

Então, todos foram à sua cidade natal para serem registrados no censo.

E iban todos para ser empadronados, cada uno á su ciudad.

And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

José também partiu da cidade de Nazaré, na Galileia, para Belém, na Judeia, conhecida como cidade de Davi, pois ele era descendente do Rei Davi.

Y subió José de Galilea, de la ciudad de Nazaret, á Judea, á la ciudad de David, que se llama Bethlehem, por cuanto era de la casa y familia de David;

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judæa, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

José foi com sua noiva Maria para se registrarem. Ela estava grávida.

Aconteceu que, chegando em Belém, era o momento de Maria ter o Bebê.

Y aconteció que estando ellos allí, se cumplieron los días en que ella había de parir.

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth.

Então ela deu à luz o seu filho, seu Primogênito, e ela O envolveu em panos. Depois, ela O colocou em uma manjedoura, pois não havia lugar para eles na hospedaria.

Y parió á su hijo primogénito, y le envolvió en pañales, y acostóle en un pesebre, porque no había lugar para ellos en el mesón.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Naquela mesma região alguns pastores estavam no campo, cuidando de suas ovelhas à noite.

Y había pastores en la misma tierra, que velaban y guardaban las vigilias de la noche sobre su ganado.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock.

Um anjo do Senhor apareceu para eles e a glória do Senhor brilhava em torno deles; e todos ficaram tomados de grande temor.

Y he aquí el ángel del Señor vino sobre ellos, y la claridad de Dios los cercó de resplandor; y tuvieron gran temor.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

Behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.

Então, o anjo lhes disse: "Não temais, pois vos trago boas novas de grande alegria para todo o povo.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.

Hoje, na cidade de Davi, vos nasceu o Salvador. Ele é Cristo, o Senhor!

Que os ha nacido hoy, en la ciudad de David, un Salvador, que es CRISTO el Señor.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Ireis reconhecê-Lo através deste sinal: Ele estará envolvido em panos e deitado em uma manjedoura".

Y esto os será por señal: hallaréis al niño envuelto en pañales, echado en un pesebre.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.”

De repente, uma grande quantidade de anjos, vindos do céu, apareceu e se juntou ao outro anjo louvando a Deus e dizendo:

Y repentinamente fué con el ángel una multitud de los ejércitos celestiales, que alababan á Dios, y decían:

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God and saying,

“Glória a Deus nas alturas e que haja paz na terra entre o povo o qual Deus quer bem”.

Gloria en las alturas á Dios, y en la tierra paz, buena voluntad para con los hombres.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

“Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Após os anjos voltarem ao céu os pastores disseram entre si: “Vamos imediatamente para Belém ver esta coisa maravilhosa que aconteceu e o Senhor nos permitiu saber”.

Y aconteció que como los ángeles se fueron de ellos al cielo, los pastores dijeron los unos á los otros: Pasemos pues hasta Bethlehem, y veamos esto que ha sucedido, que el Señor nos ha manifestado.

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Foram apressadamente e lá encontraram José e Maria em um estábulo. E viram o Bebê deitado na manjedoura.

Y vinieron apriesa, y hallaron á María, y á José, y al niño acostado en el pesebre.

And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Após verem isso, eles contaram às pessoas o que foi dito a eles sobre o Bebê.

Y viéndolo, hicieron notorio lo que les había sido dicho del niño.

And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

When they saw it, they publicized widely the saying which was spoken to them about this child.

Todos os que se encontraram com os pastores ficaram maravilhados com o que ouviam.

Y todos los que oyeron, se maravillaron de lo que los pastores les decían.

And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

All who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.

Mas, Maria guardava tudo o que havia ouvido e conservava isso em seu coração.

But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

Os pastores retornaram glorificando e louvando a Deus, pois tudo o que ouviram e viram era exatamente como o anjo lhes dissera.

Y se volvieron los pastores glorificando y alabando á Dios de todas las cosas que habían oído y visto, como les había sido dicho.

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

No oitavo dia, era chegado o tempo de circuncidar o Bebê. Eles puseram-lhe o nome Jesus, pois foi assim que o anjo O chamou, antes que Ele fosse concebido no ventre.

Y pasados los ocho días para circuncidar al niño, llamaron su nombre JESÚS; el cual le fué puesto por el ángel antes que él fuese concebido en el vientre.

And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Quando o número de dias da purificação deles se passaram, de acordo com a Lei de Moisés, José e Maria levaram o Bebê até o templo, em Jerusalém, para apresentá-Lo ao Senhor.

Y como se cumplieron los días de la purificación de ella, conforme á la ley de Moisés, le trajeron á Jerusalem para presentarle al Señor,

And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;

Pois estava escrito na Lei do Senhor: “Todo menino nascido primogênito deve ser santificado ao Senhor”.

(Como está escrito en la ley del Señor: Todo varón que abriere la matriz, será llamado santo al Señor),

(As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)

De acordo com a Lei do Senhor, eles também deveriam ofertar “duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos” como sacrifício.

Y para dar la ofrenda, conforme á lo que está dicho en la ley del Señor: un par de tórtolas, ó dos palominos.

And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

Eis que havia em Jerusalém um homem chamado Simeão. Ele era justo e piedoso. Ele estava esperando a consolação de Israel e o Espírito Santo estava sobre ele.

Y he aquí, había un hombre en Jerusalem, llamado Simeón, y este hombre, justo y pío, esperaba la consolación de Israel: y el Espíritu Santo era sobre él.

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

O Espírito Santo revelou a ele que não morreria antes que visse o Cristo prometido por Deus.

Y había recibido respuesta del Espíritu Santo, que no vería la muerte antes que viese al Cristo del Señor.

And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

Guiado pelo Espírito, Simeão entrou no templo. José e Maria trouxeram o Bebê, Jesus, para cumprir os costumes requeridos na Lei.

Y vino por Espíritu al templo. Y cuando metieron al niño Jesús sus padres en el templo, para hacer por él conforme á la costumbre de la ley,

And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

He came in the Spirit into the temple. When the parents brought in the child, Jesus, that they might do concerning him according to the custom of the law,

Simeão recebeu Jesus em Seus braços e louvou a Deus dizendo:

Entonces él le tomó en sus brazos, y bendijo á Dios, y dijo:

Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

then he received him into his arms and blessed God, and said,

“Senhor, permita agora que teu servo vá em paz, pois se cumpriu a Tua promessa.

Ahora despides, Señor, á tu siervo, conforme á tu palabra, en paz;

Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

“Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;

Pois meus olhos viram a Tua salvação,

Porque han visto mis ojos tu salvación,

For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

for my eyes have seen your salvation,

a qual Tu preparaste diante de todos os povos;

La cual has aparejado en presencia de todos los pueblos;

Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

which you have prepared before the face of all peoples;

Luz para revelação aos gentios, e para glória do Teu povo de Israel”.

Luz para ser revelada á los Gentiles, y la gloria de tu pueblo Israel.

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”

Os pais do Bebê estavam maravilhados com as coisas que eram ditas a respeito Dele.

Y José y su madre estaban maravillados de las cosas que se decían de él.

And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

Joseph and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him.

Simeão os abençoou e disse a Maria, Sua mãe: “Eis que este Bebê está destinado tanto para ruína como para levantamento de muitos em Israel e para ser alvo de contradição

Y los bendijo Simeón, y dijo á su madre María: He aquí, éste es puesto para caída y para levantamiento de muchos en Israel; y para señal á la que será contradicho;

And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary, his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against.

(também uma espada traspassará a tua própria alma), de modo que os pensamentos de muitos corações sejam revelados.

Y una espada traspasará tu alma de ti misma, para que sean manifestados los pensamientos de muchos corazones.

(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

Uma profetisa chamada Ana também estava lá. Ela era filha de Fanuel, da tribo de Aser. Ela era idosa, e viveu com seu marido por sete anos desde a sua virgindade,

Estaba también allí Ana, profetisa, hija de Phanuel, de la tribu de Aser; la cual había venido en grande edad, y había vivido con su marido siete años desde su virginidad;

And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;

e depois tornou-se viúva e assim permaneceu por oitenta e quatro anos. Ela nunca deixou o templo, adorando a Deus continuamente com jejum e oração, noite e dia.

Y era viuda de hasta ochenta y cuatro años, que no se apartaba del templo, sirviendo de noche y de día con ayunos y oraciones.

And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

and she had been a widow for about eighty-four years), who didn’t depart from the temple, worshiping with fastings and petitions night and day.

Naquele mesmo momento, ela começou a agradecer a Deus e falou sobre o menino a todos que estavam esperando pela redenção de Jerusalém.

Y ésta, sobreviniendo en la misma hora, juntamente confesaba al Señor, y hablaba de él á todos los que esperaban la redención en Jerusalem.

And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Coming up at that very hour, she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem.

Quando eles terminaram de fazer tudo o que deviam de acordo com a Lei do Senhor, eles retornaram à Galileia, para sua própria cidade, Nazaré.

Mas como cumplieron todas las cosas según la ley del Señor, se volvieron á Galilea, á su ciudad de Nazaret.

And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.

E o Menino crescia em estatura, tornando-se forte, enchendo-Se de sabedoria, e a graça de Deus estava sobre Ele.

Y el niño crecía, y fortalecíase, y se henchía de sabiduría; y la gracia de Dios era sobre él.

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Seus pais iam todos os anos a Jerusalém, para a Festa da Páscoa.

E iban sus padres todos los años á Jerusalem en la fiesta de la Pascua.

Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.

Quando Jesus completou doze anos, eles foram para a festa, como era de costume.

Y cuando fué de doce años, subieron ellos á Jerusalem conforme á la costumbre del día de la fiesta.

Terminados os dias de celebração, ao regressarem, permaneceu o menino Jesus em Jerusalém e Seus pais não O souberam,

And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.

pois pensaram que estava na caravana que viajava com eles. Após um dia inteiro de jornada, eles começaram a procurá-Lo entre os familiares e amigos.

But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

Quando eles não O encontraram, eles voltaram para Jerusalém e começaram a procurá-Lo por lá.

Após três dias, eles O encontraram no templo, sentado entre os mestres, ouvindo-os com atenção e fazendo perguntas.

Y aconteció, que tres días después le hallaron en el templo, sentado en medio de los doctores, oyéndoles y preguntándoles.

And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Todos os que O ouviam ficavam maravilhados com Seu entendimento e com Suas respostas.

Y todos los que le oían, se pasmaban de su entendimiento y de sus respuestas.

And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Quando eles viram Jesus, ficaram atônitos. Então Sua mãe disse-Lle: “Por que fizeste assim conosco? Eis que Teu pai e eu estivemos aflitos procurando por Ti”.

Y cuando le vieron, se maravillaron; y díjole su madre: Hijo, ¿por qué nos has hecho así? He aquí, tu padre y yo te hemos buscado con dolor.

And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

When they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your father and I were anxiously looking for you.”

E Jesus respondeu: “Por que vós estáveis procurando por Mim? Vós não sabíeis que Eu devo estar na casa do Meu Pai?”.

Entonces él les dice: ¿Qué hay? ¿por qué me buscabais? ¿No sabíais que en los negocios de mi Padre me conviene estar?

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

He said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”

Mas eles não entenderam o que Jesus queria dizer com essas palavras.

Mas ellos no entendieron las palabras que les habló.

And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

They didn’t understand the saying which he spoke to them.

Então Jesus voltou com Seus pais para Nazaré, e era submisso a eles e Sua mãe guardava todas essas coisas em Seu coração.

Y descendió con ellos, y vino á Nazaret, y estaba sujeto á ellos. Y su madre guardaba todas estas cosas en su corazón.

And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

Mas Jesus continuava a crescer em sabedoria, estatura e graça para com Deus e as pessoas.

Y Jesús crecía en sabiduría, y en edad, y en gracia para con Dios y los hombres.

And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
