Als aber das Volk im Wahn war und dachten aile in ihren Herzen von Johannes, ob er vielleicht Christus ware

Y estando el pueblo esperando, y pensando todos de Juan en sus corazones, si él fuese el Cristo,

And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;

As the people were in expectation, and all men reasoned in their hearts concerning John, whether perhaps he was the Christ,
