Lucas 3

Als (weil) wiederum (aber) die Volksmenge erwartungsvoll war und alle in ihren Herzen (bei sich selbst, im Stillen) überlegten (vermuteten), dass (ob) er vielleicht der Christus (Messias, Gesalbte) sei,

Y estando el pueblo esperando, y pensando todos de Juan en sus corazones, si él fuese el Cristo,

And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;

As the people were in expectation, and all men reasoned in their hearts concerning John, whether perhaps he was the Christ,
