Lucas 5

OR avvenne che, essendogli la moltitudine addosso, per udir la parola di Dio, e stando egli in piè presso del lago di Gennesaret;

Y ACONTECIÓ, que estando él junto al lago de Genezaret, las gentes se agolpaban sobre él para oir la palabra de Dios.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

Now while the multitude pressed on him and heard the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.

vide due navicelle ch'erano presso della riva del lago, delle quali erano smontati i pescatori, e lavavano le lor reti.

Y vió dos barcos que estaban cerca de la orilla del lago: y los pescadores, habiendo descendido de ellos, lavaban sus redes.

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.

Ed essendo montato in una di quelle, la quale era di Simone, lo pregò che si allargasse un poco lungi da terra. E postosi a sedere, ammaestrava le turbe d'in su la navicella.

Y entrado en uno de estos barcos, el cual era de Simón, le rogó que lo desviase de tierra un poco; y sentándose, enseñaba desde el barco á las gentes.

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.

E come fu restato di parlare, disse a Simone: Allargati in acqua, e calate le vostre reti per pescare.

Y como cesó de hablar, dijo á Simón: Tira á alta mar, y echad vuestras redes para pescar.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

E Simone, rispondendo, gli disse: Maestro, noi ci siamo affaticati tutta la notte, e non abbiam preso nulla; ma pure, alla tua parola, io calerò la rete.

Y respondiendo Simón, le dijo: Maestro, habiendo trabajado toda la noche, nada hemos tomado; mas en tu palabra echaré la red.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Simon answered him, “Master, we worked all night and caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”

E fatto questo, rinchiusero gran moltitudine di pesci; e la lor rete si rompeva.

Y habiéndolo hecho, encerraron gran multitud de pescado, que su red se rompía.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.

Ed accennarono a' lor compagni, ch' erano nell'altra navicella, che venissero per aiutarli. Ed essi vennero, ed empierono amendue le navicelle, talchè affondavano.

E hicieron señas á los compañeros que estaban en el otro barco, que viniesen á ayudarles; y vinieron, y llenaron ambos barcos, de tal manera que se anegaban.

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

E Simon Pietro, veduto questo, si gettò alle ginocchia di Gesù, dicendo: Signore, dipartiti da me; perciocchè io son uomo peccatore.

Lo cual viendo Simón Pedro, se derribó de rodillas á Jesús, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Señor, porque soy hombre pecador.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”

Poichè spavento aveva occupato lui, e tutti coloro che eran con lui, per la presa de' pesci che aveano fatta.

Porque temor le había rodeado, y á todos los que estaban con él, de la presa de los peces que habían tomado;

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;

Simigliantemente ancora Giacomo, e Giovanni, figliuol di Zebedeo, ch'eran compagni di Simone. E Gesù disse a Simone: Non temere; da ora innanzi tu sarai prenditore d'uomini vivi.

Y asimismo á Jacobo y á Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, que eran compañeros de Simón. Y Jesús dijo á Simón: No temas: desde ahora pescarás hombres.

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”

Ed essi, condotte le navicelle a terra, lasciarono ogni cosa, e lo seguitarono.

Y como llegaron á tierra los barcos, dejándolo todo, le siguieron.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.

OR avvenne che mentre egli era in una di quelle città, ecco un uomo pien di lebbra, il quale, veduto Gesù, e gettatosi sopra la faccia in terra, lo pregò, dicendo: Signore, se tu vuoi, tu puoi mondarmi.

Y aconteció que estando en una ciudad, he aquí un hombre lleno de lepra, el cual viendo á Jesús, postrándose sobre el rostro, le rogó, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

While he was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

Ed egli, distesa la mano, lo toccò, dicendo: Sì, io lo voglio, sii netto. E subito la lebbra si partì da lui.

Entonces, extendiendo la mano, le tocó diciendo: Quiero: sé limpio. Y luego la lepra se fué de él.

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

Ed egli gli comandò di non dirlo ad alcuno; anzi va', diss'egli, mostrati al sacerdote, ed offerisci, per la tua purificazione, secondo che Mosè ha ordinato in testimonianza a loro.

Y él le mandó que no lo dijese á nadie: Mas ve, díjole, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza, como mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

He commanded him to tell no one, “But go your way and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

E la fama di lui si spandeva vie più; e molte turbe si raunavano per udirlo, e per esser da lui guarite delle loro infermità.

Empero tanto más se extendía su fama: y se juntaban muchas gentes á oir y ser sanadas de sus enfermedades.

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Ma egli si sottraeva ne' deserti, ed orava.

Mas él se apartaba á los desiertos, y oraba.

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

But he withdrew himself into the desert and prayed.

ED avvenne un di que' giorni, ch'egli insegnava; e quivi sedevano de' Farisei, e de' dottori della legge, i quali eran venuti di tutte le castella della Galilea, e della Giudea, e di Gerusalemme; e la virtù del Signore era quivi presente, per sanarli.

Y aconteció un día, que él estaba enseñando, y los Fariseos y doctores de la ley estaban sentados, los cuales habían venido de todas las aldeas de Galilea, y de Judea y Jerusalem: y la virtud del Señor estaba allí para sanarlos.

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them.

Ed ecco certi uomini, che portavano sopra un letto un uomo paralitico, e cercavano di portarlo dentro, e di metterlo davanti a lui.

Y he aquí unos hombres, que traían sobre un lecho un hombre que estaba paralítico; y buscaban meterle, y ponerle delante de él.

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus.

E non trovando onde lo potessero metter dentro, per la moltitudine, salirono sopra il tetto della casa, e lo calaron pe' tegoli, insieme col letticello, ivi in mezzo, davanti a Gesù.

Y no hallando por donde meterle á causa de la multitud, subieron encima de la casa, y por el tejado le bajaron con el lecho en medio, delante de Jesús;

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the middle before Jesus.

Ed egli, veduta la lor fede, disse a colui: Uomo, i tuoi peccati ti son rimessi.

El cual, viendo la fe de ellos, le dice: Hombre, tus pecados te son perdonados.

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Seeing their faith, he said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”

E gli Scribi e i Farisei presero a ragionare, dicendo: Chi è costui che pronunzia bestemmie? chi può rimettere i peccati, se non Iddio solo?

Entonces los escribas y los Fariseos comenzaron á pensar, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste que habla blasfemias? ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados sino sólo Dios?

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”

Ma Gesù, riconosciuti i lor ragionamenti, fece lor motto, e disse: Che ragionate voi ne' vostri cuori?

Jesús entonces, conociendo los pensamientos de ellos, respondiendo les dijo: ¿Qué pensáis en vuestros corazones?

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?

Quale è più agevole, dire: I tuoi peccati ti son rimessi, ovver dire: Levati, e cammina?

¿Qué es más fácil, decir: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decir: Levántate y anda?

Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

Ora, acciocchè voi sappiate che il Figliuol dell'uomo ha autorità in terra di rimettere i peccati: Io ti dico (disse egli al paralitico): Levati, e togli il tuo letticello, e vattene a casa tua.

Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar pecados, (dice al paralítico): A ti digo, levántate, toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house.”

Ed egli, in quello stante, levatosi nel lor cospetto, e tolto in su le spalle ciò sopra di che giaceva, se ne andò a casa sua, glorificando Iddio.

Y luego, levantándose en presencia de ellos, y tomando aquel en que estaba echado, se fué á su casa, glorificando á Dios.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.

E stupore occupò tutti, e glorificavano Iddio, ed eran pieni di paura, dicendo: Oggi noi abbiam vedute cose strane.

Y tomó espanto á todos, y glorificaban á Dios; y fueron llenos de temor, diciendo: Hemos visto maravillas hoy.

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”

E DOPO queste cose, egli uscì, e vide un pubblicano, detto per nome Levi, che sedeva al banco della gabella, e gli disse: Seguitami.

Y después de estas cosas salió, y vió á un publicano llamado Leví, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dijo: Sígueme.

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

After these things he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”

Ed egli, lasciato ogni cosa, si levò, e lo seguitò.

Y dejadas todas las cosas, levantándose, le siguió.

And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

He left everything, and rose up and followed him.

E Levi gli fece un gran convito in casa sua; e la moltitudine di pubblicani, e di altri, ch'eran con loro a tavola, era grande.

E hizo Leví gran banquete en su casa; y había mucha compañía de publicanos y de otros, los cuales estaban á la mesa con ellos.

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.

E gli Scribi e i Farisei di quel luogo mormoravano contro a' discepoli di Gesù, dicendo: Perchè mangiate, e bevete co' pubblicani, e co' peccatori?

Y los escribas y los Fariseos murmuraban contra sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Por qué coméis y bebéis con los publicanos y pecadores?

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: I sani non han bisogno di medico, ma i malati.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Los que están sanos no necesitan médico, sino los que están enfermos.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

Io non son venuto per chiamare i giusti, anzi i peccatori, a ravvedimento.

No he venido á llamar justos, sino pecadores á arrepentimiento.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

ED essi gli dissero: Perchè i discepoli di Giovanni, e simigliantemente que' de' Farisei, digiunano eglino, e fanno spesso orazioni, ed i tuoi mangiano, e bevono?

Entonces ellos le dijeron: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan ayunan muchas veces y hacen oraciones, y asimismo los de los Fariseos, y tus discípulos comen y beben?

And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

They said to him, “Why do John’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?”

Ed egli disse loro: Potete voi far digiunare quei della camera delle nozze, mentre lo sposo è con loro?

Y él les dijo: ¿Podéis hacer que los que están de bodas ayunen, entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos?

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

Ma i giorni verranno, che lo sposo sarà loro tolto, ed allora in que' giorni digiuneranno.

Empero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado: entonces ayunarán en aquellos días.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.”

Disse loro, oltre a ciò, una similitudine: Niuno straccia un pezzo da un vestimento nuovo per metterlo sopra un vestimento vecchio; altrimenti, egli straccia quel nuovo, e la pezza tolta dal nuovo non si confà al vecchio.

Y les decía también una parábola: Nadie mete remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo; de otra manera el nuevo rompe, y al viejo no conviene remiendo nuevo.

And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.

He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.

Parimente, niuno mette vin nuovo in otri vecchi; altrimenti, il vin nuovo rompe gli otri, ed esso si spande, e gli otri si perdono.

Y nadie echa vino nuevo en cueros viejos; de otra manera el vino nuevo romperá los cueros, y el vino se derramará, y los cueros se perderán.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled and the skins will be destroyed.

Ma convien mettere il vin nuovo in otri nuovi, ed amendue si conserveranno.

Mas el vino nuevo en cueros nuevos se ha de echar; y lo uno y lo otro se conserva.

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.

Niuno ancora, avendo bevuto del vin vecchio, vuol subito del nuovo; perciocchè egli dice: Il vecchio val meglio.

Y ninguno que bebiere del añejo, quiere luego el nuevo; porque dice: El añejo es mejor.

No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”
