Or il arriva, comme la foule se jetait toute sur lui pour entendre la parole de Dieu, qu’il se tenait sur le bord du lac de Génézareth.

Y ACONTECIÓ, que estando él junto al lago de Genezaret, las gentes se agolpaban sobre él para oir la palabra de Dios.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

Now while the multitude pressed on him and heard the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.

Et voyant deux nacelles qui étaient au bord du lac, et dont les pêcheurs étaient descendus, et lavaient leurs rets, il monta dans l’une de ces nacelles, qui était à Simon.

Y vió dos barcos que estaban cerca de la orilla del lago: y los pescadores, habiendo descendido de ellos, lavaban sus redes.

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.

Et il le pria de la mener un peu loin de terre ; puis s’étant assis, il enseignait les troupes de dessus la nacelle.

Y entrado en uno de estos barcos, el cual era de Simón, le rogó que lo desviase de tierra un poco; y sentándose, enseñaba desde el barco á las gentes.

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.

Et quand il eut cessé de parler, il dit à Simon : mène en pleine eau, et lâchez vos filets pour pêcher.

Y como cesó de hablar, dijo á Simón: Tira á alta mar, y echad vuestras redes para pescar.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

Et Simon répondant, lui dit : Maître, nous avons travaillé toute la nuit, et nous n’avons rien pris ; toutefois à ta parole je lâcherai les filets.

Y respondiendo Simón, le dijo: Maestro, habiendo trabajado toda la noche, nada hemos tomado; mas en tu palabra echaré la red.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Simon answered him, “Master, we worked all night and caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”

Ce qu’ayant fait, ils enfermèrent une si grande quantité de poissons, que leurs filets se rompaient.

Y habiéndolo hecho, encerraron gran multitud de pescado, que su red se rompía.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.

Et ils firent signe à leurs compagnons qui étaient dans l’autre nacelle, de venir les aider ; et étant venus, ils remplirent les deux nacelles, tellement qu’elles s’enfonçaient.

E hicieron señas á los compañeros que estaban en el otro barco, que viniesen á ayudarles; y vinieron, y llenaron ambos barcos, de tal manera que se anegaban.

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Et quand Simon-Pierre eut vu cela, il se jeta aux genoux de Jésus, en lui disant : Seigneur, retire-toi de moi ; car je suis un homme pécheur.

Lo cual viendo Simón Pedro, se derribó de rodillas á Jesús, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Señor, porque soy hombre pecador.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”

Parce que la frayeur l’avait saisi, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, à cause de la prise de poissons qu’ils venaient de faire ; de même que Jacques et Jean, fils de Zébédée, qui étaient compagnons de Simon.

Porque temor le había rodeado, y á todos los que estaban con él, de la presa de los peces que habían tomado;

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;

Alors Jésus dit à Simon : n’aie point de peur ; dorénavant tu seras un pêcheur d’hommes vivants.

Y asimismo á Jacobo y á Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, que eran compañeros de Simón. Y Jesús dijo á Simón: No temas: desde ahora pescarás hombres.

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”

Et quand ils eurent amené les nacelles à terre, ils quittèrent tout, et le suivirent.

Y como llegaron á tierra los barcos, dejándolo todo, le siguieron.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.

Or il arriva que comme il était dans une des villes de ce pays-là, voici, un homme plein de lèpre voyant Jésus, se jeta en terre sur sa face, et le pria, disant : Seigneur, si tu veux, tu peux me rendre net.

Y aconteció que estando en una ciudad, he aquí un hombre lleno de lepra, el cual viendo á Jesús, postrándose sobre el rostro, le rogó, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

While he was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

Et Jésus étendit la main, et le toucha, en disant : je le veux, sois net ; et incontinent la lèpre le quitta.

Entonces, extendiendo la mano, le tocó diciendo: Quiero: sé limpio. Y luego la lepra se fué de él.

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

Et il lui commanda de ne le dire à personne ; mais va, lui dit-il, et te montre au Sacrificateur, et offre pour ta purification ce que Moïse a commandé, pour leur servir de témoignage.

Y él le mandó que no lo dijese á nadie: Mas ve, díjole, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza, como mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

He commanded him to tell no one, “But go your way and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

Et sa renommée se répandait de plus en plus, tellement que de grandes troupes s’assemblaient pour l’entendre, et pour être guéries par lui de leurs maladies.

Empero tanto más se extendía su fama: y se juntaban muchas gentes á oir y ser sanadas de sus enfermedades.

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Mais il se tenait retiré dans les déserts, et priait.

Mas él se apartaba á los desiertos, y oraba.

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Or il arriva un jour qu’il enseignait, que des Pharisiens et des Docteurs de la Loi, qui étaient venus de toutes les bourgades de Galilée, et de Judée, et de Jérusalem, étaient là assis, et la puissance du Seigneur était là pour opérer des guérisons.

Y aconteció un día, que él estaba enseñando, y los Fariseos y doctores de la ley estaban sentados, los cuales habían venido de todas las aldeas de Galilea, y de Judea y Jerusalem: y la virtud del Señor estaba allí para sanarlos.

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them.

Et voici des hommes qui portaient dans un lit un homme qui était paralytique, et ils cherchaient le moyen de le porter dans la maison, et de le mettre devant lui.

Y he aquí unos hombres, que traían sobre un lecho un hombre que estaba paralítico; y buscaban meterle, y ponerle delante de él.

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus.

Mais ne trouvant point par quel côté ils pourraient l’introduire, à cause de la foule, ils montèrent sur la maison, et ils le descendirent par les tuiles, avec le petit lit, au milieu devant Jésus ;

Y no hallando por donde meterle á causa de la multitud, subieron encima de la casa, y por el tejado le bajaron con el lecho en medio, delante de Jesús;

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the middle before Jesus.

Qui voyant leur foi, dit au paralytique : homme, tes péchés te sont pardonnés.

El cual, viendo la fe de ellos, le dice: Hombre, tus pecados te son perdonados.

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Seeing their faith, he said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”

Alors les Scribes et les Pharisiens commencèrent à raisonner en eux-mêmes, disant : qui est celui-ci qui prononce des blasphèmes ? Qui est-ce qui peut pardonner les péchés, que Dieu seul ?

Entonces los escribas y los Fariseos comenzaron á pensar, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste que habla blasfemias? ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados sino sólo Dios?

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

Mais Jésus connaissant leurs pensées, prit la parole, et leur dit : pourquoi raisonnez-vous ainsi en vous-mêmes ?

Jesús entonces, conociendo los pensamientos de ellos, respondiendo les dijo: ¿Qué pensáis en vuestros corazones?

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?

Lequel est le plus aisé, ou de dire : tes péchés te sont pardonnés ; ou de dire : lève-toi, et marche ?

¿Qué es más fácil, decir: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decir: Levántate y anda?

Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

Or afin que vous sachiez que le Fils de l’homme a le pouvoir sur la terre de pardonner les péchés, il dit au paralytique : je te dis, lève-toi, charge ton petit lit, et t’en va en ta maison.

Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar pecados, (dice al paralítico): A ti digo, levántate, toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house.”

Et à l’instant le paralytique s’étant levé devant eux, chargea le lit où il était couché, et s’en alla en sa maison, glorifiant Dieu.

Y luego, levantándose en presencia de ellos, y tomando aquel en que estaba echado, se fué á su casa, glorificando á Dios.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

Et ils furent tous saisis d’étonnement, et ils glorifiaient Dieu, et étant remplis de crainte, ils disaient : certainement nous avons vu aujourd’hui des choses qu’on n’eût jamais attendues.

Y tomó espanto á todos, y glorificaban á Dios; y fueron llenos de temor, diciendo: Hemos visto maravillas hoy.

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”

Après cela il sortit, et il vit un péager nommé Lévi, assis au lieu du péage, et il lui dit : suis-moi.

Y después de estas cosas salió, y vió á un publicano llamado Leví, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dijo: Sígueme.

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

After these things he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”

Lequel abandonnant tout, se leva, et le suivit.

Y dejadas todas las cosas, levantándose, le siguió.

And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

He left everything, and rose up and followed him.

Et Lévi fit un grand festin dans sa maison, où il y avait une grosse assemblée de péagers, et d’autres gens qui étaient avec eux à table.

E hizo Leví gran banquete en su casa; y había mucha compañía de publicanos y de otros, los cuales estaban á la mesa con ellos.

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.

Et les Scribes de ce lieu-là et les Pharisiens, murmuraient contre ses Disciples, en disant : pourquoi est-ce que vous mangez et que vous buvez avec des péagers et des gens de mauvaise vie ?

Y los escribas y los Fariseos murmuraban contra sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Por qué coméis y bebéis con los publicanos y pecadores?

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

Mais Jésus prenant la parole, leur dit : ceux qui sont en santé n’ont pas besoin de médecin, mais ceux qui se portent mal.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Los que están sanos no necesitan médico, sino los que están enfermos.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

Je ne suis point venu appeler à la repentance les justes, mais les pécheurs.

No he venido á llamar justos, sino pecadores á arrepentimiento.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Ils lui dirent aussi : pourquoi est-ce que les disciples de Jean jeûnent souvent, et font des prières ; pareillement aussi ceux des Pharisiens ; mais les tiens mangent et boivent ?

Entonces ellos le dijeron: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan ayunan muchas veces y hacen oraciones, y asimismo los de los Fariseos, y tus discípulos comen y beben?

And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

They said to him, “Why do John’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?”

Et il leur dit : pouvez-vous faire jeûner les amis de l’Epoux pendant que l’Epoux est avec eux ?

Y él les dijo: ¿Podéis hacer que los que están de bodas ayunen, entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos?

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

Mais les jours viendront que l’Epoux leur sera ôté ; alors ils jeûneront en ces jours-là.

Empero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado: entonces ayunarán en aquellos días.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.”

Puis il leur dit cette similitude : personne ne met une pièce d’un vêtement neuf à un vieux vêtement ; autrement le neuf déchire le vieux, et la pièce du neuf ne se rapporte point au vieux.

Y les decía también una parábola: Nadie mete remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo; de otra manera el nuevo rompe, y al viejo no conviene remiendo nuevo.

And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.

He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.

Pareillement, personne ne met le vin nouveau dans de vieux vaisseaux ; autrement le vin nouveau rompra les vaisseaux, et se répandra, et les vaisseaux seront perdus.

Y nadie echa vino nuevo en cueros viejos; de otra manera el vino nuevo romperá los cueros, y el vino se derramará, y los cueros se perderán.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled and the skins will be destroyed.

Mais le vin nouveau doit être mis dans des vaisseaux neufs ; et ainsi ils se conservent l’un et l’autre.

Mas el vino nuevo en cueros nuevos se ha de echar; y lo uno y lo otro se conserva.

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.

Et il n’y a personne qui boive du vieux, qui veuille aussitôt du nouveau : car il dit : le vieux est meilleur.

Y ninguno que bebiere del añejo, quiere luego el nuevo; porque dice: El añejo es mejor.

No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”
