1Es begab sich aber, da sich das Volk zu ihm drängte, zu hören das Wort Gottes, daß er stand am See Genezareth
2und sah zwei Schiffe am See stehen, die Fischer aber waren ausgetreten und wuschen ihre Netze.
3Da trat er in der Schiffe eines, welches Simons war, und bat ihn, daß er's ein wenig vom Lande führte. Und er setzte sich und lehrte das Volk aus dem Schiff.
4Und als er hatte aufgehört zu reden, sprach er zu Simon: Fahre auf die Höhe und werfet eure Netze aus, daß ihr einen Zug tut.
5Und Simon antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Meister, wir haben die ganze Nacht gearbeitet und nichts gefangen, aber auf dein Wort will ich das Netz auswerfen.
6Und da sie das taten, beschlossen sie eine große Menge Fische, und ihr Netz zerriß.
7Und sie winkten ihren Gesellen, die im andern Schiff waren, daß sie kämen und hülfen ihnen ziehen. Und sie kamen und füllten beide Schiffe voll, also daß sie sanken.
8Da das Simon Petrus sah, fiel er Jesu zu den Knieen und sprach: HERR, gehe von mir hinaus! ich bin ein sündiger Mensch.
9Denn es war ihn ein Schrecken angekommen, ihn und alle, die mit ihm waren, über diesen Fischzug, den sie miteinander getan hatten;
10desgleichen auch Jakobus und Johannes, die Söhne des Zebedäus, Simons Gesellen. Und Jesus sprach zu Simon: Fürchte dich nicht; denn von nun an wirst du Menschen fangen.
11Und sie führten die Schiffe zu Lande und verließen alles und folgten ihm nach.
12Und es begab sich, da er in einer Stadt war, siehe, da war ein Mann voll Aussatz. Da der Jesum sah, fiel er auf sein Angesicht und bat ihn und sprach: HERR, willst du, so kannst du mich reinigen.
13Und er streckte die Hand aus und rührte ihn an und sprach: Ich will's tun; sei gereinigt! Und alsobald ging der Aussatz von ihm.
14Und er gebot ihm, daß er's niemand sagen sollte; sondern “gehe hin und zeige dich dem Priester und opfere für deine Reinigung, wie Mose geboten, ihnen zum Zeugnis”.
15Es kam aber die Sage von ihm immer weiter aus, und kam viel Volks zusammen, daß sie ihn hörten und durch ihn gesund würden von ihren Krankheiten.
16Er aber entwich in die Wüste und betete.
17Und es begab sich auf einen Tag, daß er lehrte; und es saßen da die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten, die da gekommen waren aus allen Märkten in Galiläa und Judäa und von Jerusalem. Und die Kraft des HERRN ging von ihm, und er half jedermann.
18Und, siehe, etliche Männer brachten einen Menschen auf seinem Bette, der war gichtbrüchig; und sie suchten, wie sie ihn hineinbrächten und vor ihn legten.
19Und da sie vor dem Volk nicht fanden, an welchen Ort sie ihn hineinbrächten, stiegen sie auf das Dach und ließen ihn durch die Ziegel hernieder mit dem Bettlein mitten unter sie, vor Jesum.
20Und da er ihren Glauben sah, sprach er zu ihm: Mensch, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben.
21Und die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer fingen an, zu denken und sprachen: Wer ist der, daß er Gotteslästerungen redet? Wer kann Sünden vergeben denn allein Gott?
22Da aber Jesus ihre Gedanken merkte, antwortete er und sprach zu ihnen: Was denket ihr in euren Herzen?
23Welches ist leichter: zu sagen: Dir sind deine Sünden vergeben, oder zu sagen: Stehe auf und wandle?
24Auf das ihr aber wisset, daß des Menschen Sohn Macht hat, auf Erden Sünden zu vergeben, (sprach er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen): Ich sage dir stehe auf und hebe dein Bettlein auf und gehe heim!
25Und alsbald stand er auf vor ihren Augen und hob das Bettlein auf, darauf er gelegen hatte, und ging heim und pries Gott.
26Und sie entsetzten sich alle und priesen Gott und wurden voll Furcht und sprachen: Wir haben heute seltsame Dinge gesehen.
27Und darnach ging er aus und sah einen Zöllner mit Namen Levi am Zoll sitzen und sprach zu ihm: Folge mir nach!
28Und er verließ alles, stand auf und folgte ihm nach.
29Und Levi richtete ihm ein großes Mahl zu in seinem Hause, und viele Zöllner und andere saßen mit ihm zu Tisch.
30Und die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer murrten wider seine Jünger und sprachen: Warum esset und trinket ihr mit den Zöllnern und Sündern?
31Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Die Gesunden bedürfen des Arztes nicht, sondern die Kranken.
32Ich bin gekommen zu rufen die Sünder zur Buße, und nicht die Gerechten.
33Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Warum fasten des Johannes Jünger so oft und beten so viel, desgleichen der Pharisäer Jünger; aber deine Jünger essen und trinken?
34Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Ihr könnt die Hochzeitleute nicht zu fasten treiben, solange der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist.
35Es wird aber die Zeit kommen, daß der Bräutigam von ihnen genommen wird; dann werden sie fasten.
36Und er sagte zu ihnen ein Gleichnis: Niemand flickt einen Lappen von einem neuen Kleid auf ein altes Kleid; sonst zerreißt er das neue, und der Lappen vom neuen reimt sich nicht auf das alte.
37Und niemand faßt Most in alte Schläuche; sonst zerreißt der Most die Schläuche und wird verschüttet, und die Schläuche kommen um.
38Sondern den Most soll man in neue Schläuche fassen, so werden sie beide erhalten.
39Und niemand ist, der vom alten trinkt und wolle bald den neuen; denn er spricht: Der alte ist milder.

1Y ACONTECIÓ, que estando él junto al lago de Genezaret, las gentes se agolpaban sobre él para oir la palabra de Dios.
2Y vió dos barcos que estaban cerca de la orilla del lago: y los pescadores, habiendo descendido de ellos, lavaban sus redes.
3Y entrado en uno de estos barcos, el cual era de Simón, le rogó que lo desviase de tierra un poco; y sentándose, enseñaba desde el barco á las gentes.
4Y como cesó de hablar, dijo á Simón: Tira á alta mar, y echad vuestras redes para pescar.
5Y respondiendo Simón, le dijo: Maestro, habiendo trabajado toda la noche, nada hemos tomado; mas en tu palabra echaré la red.
6Y habiéndolo hecho, encerraron gran multitud de pescado, que su red se rompía.
7E hicieron señas á los compañeros que estaban en el otro barco, que viniesen á ayudarles; y vinieron, y llenaron ambos barcos, de tal manera que se anegaban.
8Lo cual viendo Simón Pedro, se derribó de rodillas á Jesús, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Señor, porque soy hombre pecador.
9Porque temor le había rodeado, y á todos los que estaban con él, de la presa de los peces que habían tomado;
10Y asimismo á Jacobo y á Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, que eran compañeros de Simón. Y Jesús dijo á Simón: No temas: desde ahora pescarás hombres.
11Y como llegaron á tierra los barcos, dejándolo todo, le siguieron.
12Y aconteció que estando en una ciudad, he aquí un hombre lleno de lepra, el cual viendo á Jesús, postrándose sobre el rostro, le rogó, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.
13Entonces, extendiendo la mano, le tocó diciendo: Quiero: sé limpio. Y luego la lepra se fué de él.
14Y él le mandó que no lo dijese á nadie: Mas ve, díjole, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza, como mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.
15Empero tanto más se extendía su fama: y se juntaban muchas gentes á oir y ser sanadas de sus enfermedades.
16Mas él se apartaba á los desiertos, y oraba.
17Y aconteció un día, que él estaba enseñando, y los Fariseos y doctores de la ley estaban sentados, los cuales habían venido de todas las aldeas de Galilea, y de Judea y Jerusalem: y la virtud del Señor estaba allí para sanarlos.
18Y he aquí unos hombres, que traían sobre un lecho un hombre que estaba paralítico; y buscaban meterle, y ponerle delante de él.
19Y no hallando por donde meterle á causa de la multitud, subieron encima de la casa, y por el tejado le bajaron con el lecho en medio, delante de Jesús;
20El cual, viendo la fe de ellos, le dice: Hombre, tus pecados te son perdonados.
21Entonces los escribas y los Fariseos comenzaron á pensar, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste que habla blasfemias? ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados sino sólo Dios?
22Jesús entonces, conociendo los pensamientos de ellos, respondiendo les dijo: ¿Qué pensáis en vuestros corazones?
23¿Qué es más fácil, decir: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decir: Levántate y anda?
24Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar pecados, (dice al paralítico): A ti digo, levántate, toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.
25Y luego, levantándose en presencia de ellos, y tomando aquel en que estaba echado, se fué á su casa, glorificando á Dios.
26Y tomó espanto á todos, y glorificaban á Dios; y fueron llenos de temor, diciendo: Hemos visto maravillas hoy.
27Y después de estas cosas salió, y vió á un publicano llamado Leví, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dijo: Sígueme.
28Y dejadas todas las cosas, levantándose, le siguió.
29E hizo Leví gran banquete en su casa; y había mucha compañía de publicanos y de otros, los cuales estaban á la mesa con ellos.
30Y los escribas y los Fariseos murmuraban contra sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Por qué coméis y bebéis con los publicanos y pecadores?
31Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Los que están sanos no necesitan médico, sino los que están enfermos.
32No he venido á llamar justos, sino pecadores á arrepentimiento.
33Entonces ellos le dijeron: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan ayunan muchas veces y hacen oraciones, y asimismo los de los Fariseos, y tus discípulos comen y beben?
34Y él les dijo: ¿Podéis hacer que los que están de bodas ayunen, entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos?
35Empero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado: entonces ayunarán en aquellos días.
36Y les decía también una parábola: Nadie mete remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo; de otra manera el nuevo rompe, y al viejo no conviene remiendo nuevo.
37Y nadie echa vino nuevo en cueros viejos; de otra manera el vino nuevo romperá los cueros, y el vino se derramará, y los cueros se perderán.
38Mas el vino nuevo en cueros nuevos se ha de echar; y lo uno y lo otro se conserva.
39Y ninguno que bebiere del añejo, quiere luego el nuevo; porque dice: El añejo es mejor.

1And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
27And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
28And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
29And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
30But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
34And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
36And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
37And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
38But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
39No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

1Now while the multitude pressed on him and heard the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.
2He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
3He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
5Simon answered him, “Master, we worked all night and caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”
6When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.
7They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
8But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”
9For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;
10and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”
11When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
12While he was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
13He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately the leprosy left him.
14He commanded him to tell no one, “But go your way and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”
15But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16But he withdrew himself into the desert and prayed.
17On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them.
18Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus.
19Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the middle before Jesus.
20Seeing their faith, he said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
21The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”
22But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?
23Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?
24But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house.”
25Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
26Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”
27After these things he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”
28He left everything, and rose up and followed him.
29Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.
30Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”
31Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
32I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
33They said to him, “Why do John’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?”
34He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?
35But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.”
36He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.
37No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled and the skins will be destroyed.
38But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.
39No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”
