E se prestate a coloro da' quali sperate riaverlo, che grazie ne avrete? poichè i peccatori prestano a' peccatori, per riceverne altrettanto.

Y si prestareis á aquellos de quienes esperáis recibir, ¿qué gracias tendréis? porque también los pecadores prestan á los pecadores, para recibir otro tanto.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.
