Or il arriva, au sabbat second-premier, qu'il passait au travers des blés ; et ses disciples arrachaient les épis, et, les froissant entre leurs mains, ils les mangeaient.

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasando él por los sembrados en un sábado segundo del primero, sus discípulos arrancaban espigas, y comían, restregándolas con las manos.

And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

Now on the second Sabbath after the first, he was going through the grain fields. His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate, rubbing them in their hands.

Mais quelques-uns des pharisiens leur dirent : Pourquoi faites-vous ce qu'il n'est pas permis de faire les jours de sabbat ?

Y algunos de los Fariseos les dijeron: ¿Por qué hacéis lo que no es lícito hacer en los sábados?

And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

But some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath day?”

Et Jésus, répondant, leur dit : N'avez-vous pas même lu ce que fit David, quand il eut faim, lui et ceux qui étaient avec lui ?

Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: ¿Ni aun esto habéis leído, qué hizo David cuando tuvo hambre, él, y los que con él estaban;

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

Jesus, answering them, said, “Haven’t you read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,

Comment il entra dans la maison de Dieu, et prit les pains de proposition, et en mangea, et en donna aussi à ceux qui étaient avec lui, bien qu'il ne soit permis qu'aux seuls sacrificateurs d'en manger ?

Cómo entró en la casa de Dios, y tomó los panes de la proposición, y comió, y dió también á los que estaban con él, los cuales no era lícito comer, sino á solos los sacerdotes?

How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

Et il leur disait : Le fils de l'homme est maître même du sabbat.

Y les decía: El Hijo del hombre es Señor aun del sábado.

And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Or, il arriva, un autre sabbat, qu'il entra dans la synagogue, et qu'il enseignait ; et il y avait là un homme, et sa main droite était sèche.

Y aconteció también en otro sábado, que él entró en la sinagoga y enseñaba; y estaba allí un hombre que tenía la mano derecha seca.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

Or les scribes et les pharisiens l'observaient pour voir s'il guérissait le jour du sabbat, afin de trouver de quoi l'accuser.

Y le acechaban los escribas y los Fariseos, si sanaría en sábado, por hallar de qué le acusasen.

And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Mais lui connaissait leurs pensées ; et il dit à l'homme qui avait la main sèche : Lève-toi, et tiens-toi là au milieu. Et s'étant levé il se tint debout.

Mas él sabía los pensamientos de ellos; y dijo al hombre que tenía la mano seca: Levántate, y ponte en medio. Y él levantándose, se puso en pie.

But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

Jésus donc leur dit : Je vous demande s'il est permis, les jours de sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal ; de sauver une vie ou de la perdre.

Entonces Jesús les dice: Os preguntaré una cosa: ¿Es lícito en sábados hacer bien, ó hacer mal? ¿salvar la vida, ó quitarla?

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Then Jesus said to them, “I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?”

Et ayant porté ses regards tout autour sur eux tous, il lui dit : Etends ta main. Et il le fit, et sa main fut guérie.

Y mirándolos á todos alrededor, dice al hombre: Extiende tu mano. Y él lo hizo así, y su mano fué restaurada.

And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

He looked around at them all, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did, and his hand was restored as sound as the other.

Mais eux furent remplis de fureur, et ils s'entretenaient ensemble de ce qu'ils pourraient faire à Jésus.

Y ellos se llenaron de rabia; y hablaban los unos á los otros qué harían á Jesús.

And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

But they were filled with rage, and talked with one another about what they might do to Jesus.

Or il arriva en ces jours-là, qu'il s'en alla sur la montagne pour prier ; et il passa toute la nuit à prier Dieu.

Et étant descendu avec eux, il s'arrêta sur un plateau, et il y avait là une foule nombreuse de ses disciples et une grande multitude de peuple de toute la Judée et de Jérusalem, et du littoral de Tyr et de Sidon, qui étaient venus pour l'entendre et pour être guéris de leurs maladies ;

And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judæa and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

et ceux qui étaient tourmentés par des esprits impurs, étaient guéris.

Y los que habían sido atormentados de espíritus inmundos: y estaban curados.

And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

as well as those who were troubled by unclean spirits; and they were being healed.

Et toute la foule cherchait à le toucher, parce qu'une puissance sortait de lui et les guérissait tous.

Y toda la gente procuraba tocarle; porque salía de él virtud, y sanaba á todos.

And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

Et lui, levant les yeux sur ses disciples, disait : Heureux vous pauvres, parce que à vous est le royaume de Dieu !

Y alzando él los ojos á sus discípulos, decía: Bienaventurados vosotros los pobres; porque vuestro es el reino de Dios.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Heureux vous qui avez faim maintenant, parce que vous serez rassasiés ! Heureux vous qui pleurez maintenant, parce que vous serez dans la joie !

Bienaventurados los que ahora tenéis hambre; porque seréis saciados. Bienaventurados los que ahora lloráis, porque reiréis.

Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

Vous serez heureux quand les hommes vous haïront, et quand ils vous excluront et vous injurieront et rejetteront votre nom comme mauvais, à cause du fils de l'homme.

Bienaventurados seréis, cuando los hombres os aborrecieren, y cuando os apartaren de sí, y os denostaren, y desecharen vuestro nombre como malo, por el Hijo del hombre.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.

Réjouissez-vous en ce jour-là, et tressaillez de joie ; car voici, votre récompense sera grande dans le ciel, car c'est de la même manière que leurs pères traitaient les prophètes.

Gozaos en aquel día, y alegraos; porque he aquí vuestro galardón es grande en los cielos; porque así hacían sus padres á los profetas.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Mais malheur à vous riches, parce que vous avez reçu votre consolation !

Malheur à vous qui êtes rassasiés maintenant, parce que vous aurez faim ! Malheur à vous qui riez maintenant, parce que vous mènerez deuil et pleurerez !

¡Ay de vosotros, los que estáis hartos! porque tendréis hambre. ¡Ay de vosotros, los que ahora reís! porque lamentaréis y lloraréis.

Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Woe to you, you who are full now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.

Malheur, quand tous les hommes diront du bien de vous ! car c'est de la même manière que leurs pères traitaient les faux prophètes.

¡Ay de vosotros, cuando todos los hombres dijeren bien de vosotros! porque así hacían sus padres á los falsos profetas.

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Woe, when men speak well of you, for their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.

Mais je vous dis, à vous qui écoutez : Aimez vos ennemis ; faites du bien à ceux qui vous haïssent ;

Mas á vosotros los que oís, digo: Amad á vuestros enemigos, haced bien á los que os aborrecen;

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

“But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

bénissez ceux qui vous maudissent ; priez pour ceux qui vous outragent.

Bendecid á los que os maldicen, y orad por los que os calumnian.

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

A celui qui te frappe sur la joue, présente aussi l'autre ; et celui qui enlève ton manteau, ne l'empêche point de prendre aussi ta tunique.

Y al que te hiriere en la mejilla, dale también la otra; y al que te quitare la capa, ni aun el sayo le defiendas.

And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don’t withhold your coat also.

Donne à quiconque te demande ; et ne redemande pas à celui qui enlève ce qui est à toi.

Y á cualquiera que te pidiere, da; y al que tomare lo que es tuyo, no vuelvas á pedir.

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.

Et comme vous voulez que les hommes vous fassent, vous aussi faites-leur de même.

Y como queréis que os hagan los hombres, así hacedles también vosotros:

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

“As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.

Et si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quel gré vous en saura-t-on ? car les pécheurs aussi aiment ceux qui les aiment ;

Porque si amáis á los que os aman, ¿qué gracias tendréis? porque también los pecadores aman á los que los aman.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

et si vous faites du bien à ceux qui vous font du bien, quel gré vous en saura-t-on ? car les pécheurs aussi font la même chose.

Y si hiciereis bien á los que os hacen bien, ¿qué gracias tendréis? porque también los pecadores hacen lo mismo.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

Et si vous prêtez à ceux de qui vous espérez recevoir, quel gré vous en saura-t-on ? Les pécheurs aussi prêtent aux pécheurs, afin de recevoir la pareille.

Y si prestareis á aquellos de quienes esperáis recibir, ¿qué gracias tendréis? porque también los pecadores prestan á los pecadores, para recibir otro tanto.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.

Mais aimez vos ennemis, et faites du bien et prêtez sans rien espérer, et votre récompense sera grande, et vous serez fils du Très-Haut ; parce que lui est bon envers les ingrats et les méchants.

Amad, pues, á vuestros enemigos, y haced bien, y prestad, no esperando de ello nada; y será vuestro galardón grande, y seréis hijos del Altísimo: porque él es benigno para con los ingratos y malos.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

Soyez miséricordieux, comme votre Père est miséricordieux.

Sed pues misericordiosos, como también vuestro Padre es misericordioso.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

“Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.

Et ne jugez point, et vous ne serez pas jugés ; ne condamnez point, et vous ne serez point condamnés ; absolvez, et vous serez absous.

No juzguéis, y no seréis juzgados: no condenéis, y no seréis condenados: perdonad, y seréis perdonados.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.

Donnez, et il vous sera donné ; on vous donnera dans votre sein une bonne mesure, pressée, secouée, débordante ; car de la mesure dont vous mesurez, il vous sera mesuré en retour.

Dad, y se os dará; medida buena, apretada, remecida, y rebosando darán en vuestro seno: porque con la misma medida que midiereis, os será vuelto á medir.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”

Et il leur dit aussi une parabole : Un aveugle peut-il conduire un aveugle ? Ne tomberont-ils pas tous deux dans une fosse ?

Y les decía una parábola: ¿Puede el ciego guiar al ciego? ¿No caerán ambos en el hoyo?

And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

He spoke a parable to them. “Can the blind guide the blind? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Un disciple n'est point au-dessus du maître ; mais tout disciple accompli sera comme son maître.

El discípulo no es sobre su maestro; mas cualquiera que fuere como el maestro, será perfecto.

The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.

Et pourquoi regardes-tu la paille qui est dans l'œil de ton frère, tandis que tu n'aperçois pas la poutre qui est dans ton propre œil ?

¿Por qué miras la paja que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y la viga que está en tu propio ojo no consideras?

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?

Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère : Frère, permets que j'ôte la paille qui est dans ton œil, toi qui ne vois pas la poutre qui est dans ton œil ? Hypocrite, ôte premièrement la poutre de ton œil, et alors tu verras pour ôter la paille qui est dans l'œil de ton frère.

¿O cómo puedes decir á tu hermano: Hermano, deja, echaré fuera la paja que está en tu ojo, no mirando tú la viga que está en tu ojo? Hipócrita, echa primero fuera de tu ojo la viga, y entonces verás bien para sacar la paja que está en el ojo de tu hermano.

Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

Or how can you tell your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck of chaff that is in your eye,’ when you yourself don’t see the beam that is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck of chaff that is in your brother’s eye.

Car il n'y a pas de bon arbre qui produise de mauvais fruit, ni de mauvais arbre qui produise de bon fruit.

Porque no es buen árbol el que da malos frutos; ni árbol malo el que da buen fruto.

For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

“For there is no good tree that produces rotten fruit, nor again a rotten tree that produces good fruit.

Car chaque arbre se reconnaît à son propre fruit. Car on ne recueille pas sur des épines des figues, et l'on ne vendange pas le raisin sur des ronces.

Porque cada árbol por su fruto es conocido: que no cogen higos de los espinos, ni vendimian uvas de las zarzas.

For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people don’t gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.

L'homme bon tire le bien du bon trésor de son cœur, et l'homme mauvais tire le mal du mauvais trésor ; car de l'abondance du cœur sa bouche parle.

El buen hombre del buen tesoro de su corazón saca bien; y el mal hombre del mal tesoro de su corazón saca mal; porque de la abundancia del corazón habla su boca.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.

Mais pourquoi m'appelez-vous Seigneur, Seigneur, et ne faites-vous pas ce que je dis ?

¿Por qué me llamáis, Señor, Señor, y no hacéis lo que digo?

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?

Tout homme qui vient à moi et entend mes paroles et les met en pratique, je vous montrerai à qui il est semblable :

Todo aquel que viene á mí, y oye mis palabras, y las hace, os enseñaré á quién es semejante:

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Everyone who comes to me, and hears my words and does them, I will show you who he is like.

Il est semblable à un homme qui bâtit une maison, qui a creusé et foui profondément, et a posé le fondement sur le roc ; et une inondation étant survenue, le torrent s'est jeté contre cette maison, et il n'a pu l'ébranler, parce qu'elle avait été bien bâtie.

Semejante es al hombre que edifica una casa, el cual cavó y ahondó, y puso el fundamento sobre la peña; y cuando vino una avenida, el río dió con ímpetu en aquella casa, mas no la pudo menear: porque estaba fundada sobre la peña.

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

He is like a man building a house, who dug and went deep and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it was founded on the rock.

Mais celui qui a entendu et n'a pas mis en pratique, est semblable à un homme qui a bâti une maison sur la terre, sans fondement ; le torrent s'est jeté contre elle, et aussitôt elle s'est écroulée, et la ruine de cette maison-là a été grande.

Mas el que oyó y no hizo, semejante es al hombre que edificó su casa sobre tierra, sin fundamento; en la cual el río dió con ímpetu, y luego cayó; y fué grande la ruina de aquella casa.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

But he who hears and doesn’t do, is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
