Oder was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? Wolltet ihr einen Menschen sehen in weichen Kleidern? Sehet, die in herrlichen Kleidern und Lüsten leben, die sind in den königlichen Höfen.

Y envió á Jesús, diciendo: ¿Eres tú aquél que había de venir, ó esperaremos á otro?

And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are you the one who is coming, or should we look for another?”
