Los de sobre la piedra son los que habiendo escuchado, reciben la palabra con gozo; pero éstos no tienen raíces; creen por algún tiempo, y en el tiempo de la prueba se apartan.

Y los de sobre la piedra, son los que habiendo oído, reciben la palabra con gozo; mas éstos no tienen raíces; que á tiempo creen, y en el tiempo de la tentación se apartan.

They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root. They believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.
