Lucas 9

Als er aber die Zwölfe zusammengerufen hatte, gab er ihnen Kraft und Gewalt über alle Dämonen, und Krankheiten zu heilen;

Y JUNTANDO á sus doce discípulos, les dió virtud y potestad sobre todos los demonios, y que sanasen enfermedades.

und er sandte sie, das Reich Gottes zu predigen und die Kranken gesund zu machen.

Y los envió á que predicasen el reino de Dios, y que sanasen á los enfermos.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Nehmet nichts mit auf den Weg: weder Stab, noch Tasche, noch Brot, noch Geld, noch soll jemand zwei Leibröcke haben.

Y les dice: No toméis nada para el camino, ni báculo, ni alforja, ni pan, ni dinero; ni tengáis dos vestidos cada uno.

And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey—no staffs, nor wallet, nor bread, nor money. Don’t have two tunics each.

Und in welches Haus irgend ihr eintretet, daselbst bleibet, und von dannen gehet aus.

Y en cualquiera casa en que entrareis, quedad allí, y de allí salid.

And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

Into whatever house you enter, stay there, and depart from there.

Und so viele euch etwa nicht aufnehmen werden, gehet fort aus jener Stadt und schüttelt auch den Staub von euren Füßen, zum Zeugnis wider sie.

Y todos los que no os recibieren, saliéndoos de aquella ciudad, aun el polvo sacudid de vuestros pies en testimonio contra ellos.

And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

As many as don’t receive you, when you depart from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.”

Sie gingen aber aus und durchzogen die Dörfer nacheinander, indem sie das Evangelium verkündigten und überall heilten.

Y saliendo, rodeaban por todas las aldeas, anunciando el evangelio, y sanando por todas partes.

And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

They departed and went throughout the villages, preaching the Good News and healing everywhere.

Es hörte aber Herodes, der Vierfürst, alles was durch ihn geschehen war, und er war in Verlegenheit, weil von etlichen gesagt wurde, daß Johannes aus den Toten auferweckt worden sei;

von etlichen aber, daß Elias erschienen, von anderen aber, daß einer der alten Propheten auferstanden sei.

And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.

Und Herodes sprach: Johannes habe ich enthauptet; wer aber ist dieser, von dem ich solches höre? Und er suchte ihn zu sehen.

Y dijo Herodes: A Juan yo degollé: ¿quién pues será éste, de quien yo oigo tales cosas? Y procuraba verle.

And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

Herod said, “I beheaded John, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” He sought to see him.

Und als die Apostel zurückkehrten, erzählten sie ihm alles, was sie getan hatten; und er nahm sie mit und zog sich besonders zurück nach einem öden Ort einer Stadt, mit Namen Bethsaida.

Y vueltos los apóstoles, le contaron todas las cosas que habían hecho. Y tomándolos, se retiró aparte á un lugar desierto de la ciudad que se llama Bethsaida.

And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

Als aber die Volksmengen es erfuhren, folgten sie ihm; und er nahm sie auf und redete zu ihnen vom Reiche Gottes, und die der Heilung bedurften, machte er gesund.

Y como lo entendieron las gentes, le siguieron; y él las recibió, y les hablaba del reino de Dios, y sanaba á los que tenían necesidad de cura.

And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

But the multitudes, perceiving it, followed him. He welcomed them, spoke to them of God’s Kingdom, and he cured those who needed healing.

Der Tag aber begann sich zu neigen, und die Zwölfe traten herzu und sprachen zu ihm: Entlaß die Volksmenge, auf daß sie in die Dörfer ringsum und aufs Land gehen und Herberge und Speise finden; denn hier sind wir an einem öden Orte.

Y el día había comenzado á declinar; y llegándose los doce, le dijeron: Despide á las gentes, para que yendo á las aldeas y heredades de alrededor, procedan á alojarse y hallen viandas; porque aquí estamos en lugar desierto.

And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

The day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms and lodge and get food, for we are here in a deserted place.”

Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Gebet ihr ihnen zu essen. Sie aber sprachen: Wir haben nicht mehr als fünf Brote und zwei Fische, es sei denn, daß wir hingingen und für dieses ganze Volk Speise kauften.

Y les dice: Dadles vosotros de comer. Y dijeron ellos: No tenemos más que cinco panes y dos pescados, si no vamos nosotros á comprar viandas para toda esta compañía.

But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.

But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we should go and buy food for all these people.”

Denn es waren bei fünftausend Mann. Er sprach aber zu seinen Jüngern: Laßt sie sich reihenweise zu je fünfzig niederlegen.

Y eran como cinco mil hombres. Entonces dijo á sus discípulos: Hacedlos sentar en ranchos, de cincuenta en cincuenta.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

Er nahm aber die fünf Brote und die zwei Fische, blickte auf gen Himmel und segnete sie; und er brach sie und gab sie den Jüngern, um der Volksmenge vorzulegen.

Y tomando los cinco panes y los dos pescados, mirando al cielo los bendijo, y partió, y dió á sus discípulos para que pusiesen delante de las gentes.

Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Und sie aßen und wurden alle gesättigt; und es wurde aufgehoben, was ihnen an Brocken übriggeblieben war, zwölf Handkörbe voll.

Y comieron todos, y se hartaron; y alzaron lo que les sobró, doce cestos de pedazos.

And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

They ate and were all filled. They gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

Und es geschah, als er allein betete, waren die Jünger bei ihm; und er fragte sie und sprach: Wer sagen die Volksmengen, daß ich sei?

Y aconteció que estando él solo orando, estaban con él los discípulos; y les preguntó diciendo: ¿Quién dicen las gentes que soy?

And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

As he was praying alone, the disciples were near him, and he asked them, “Who do the multitudes say that I am?”

Sie aber antworteten und sprachen: Johannes der Täufer; andere aber: Elias; andere aber, daß einer der alten Propheten auferstanden sei.

Y ellos respondieron, y dijeron: Juan el Bautista; y otros, Elías; y otros, que algún profeta de los antiguos ha resucitado.

They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

They answered, “‘John the Baptizer,’ but others say, ‘Elijah,’ and others, that one of the old prophets has risen again.”

Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Ihr aber, wer saget ihr, daß ich sei? Petrus aber antwortete und sprach: Der Christus Gottes.

Y les dijo: ¿Y vosotros, quién decís que soy? Entonces respondiendo Simón Pedro, dijo: El Cristo de Dios.

He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”

Er aber bedrohte sie und gebot ihnen, dies niemand zu sagen,

Mas él, conminándolos, mandó que á nadie dijesen esto;

And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

But he warned them and commanded them to tell this to no one,

und sprach: Der Sohn des Menschen muß vieles leiden und verworfen werden von den Ältesten und Hohenpriestern und Schriftgelehrten, und getötet und am dritten Tage auferweckt werden.

Diciendo: Es necesario que el Hijo del hombre padezca muchas cosas, y sea desechado de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas, y que sea muerto, y resucite al tercer día.

Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.”

Er sprach aber zu allen: Wenn jemand mir nachkommen will, der verleugne sich selbst und nehme sein Kreuz auf täglich und folge mir nach.

Y decía á todos: Si alguno quiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese á sí mismo, y tome su cruz cada día, y sígame.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.

Denn wer irgend sein Leben erretten will, wird es verlieren; wer aber irgend sein Leben verliert um meinetwillen, der wird es erretten.

Porque cualquiera que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá; y cualquiera que perdiere su vida por causa de mí, éste la salvará.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it.

Denn was wird es einem Menschen nützen, wenn er die ganze Welt gewönne, sich selbst aber verlöre oder einbüßte?

Porque ¿qué aprovecha al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y se pierda él á sí mismo, ó corra peligro de sí?

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self?

Denn wer irgend sich meiner und meiner Worte schämt, dessen wird der Sohn des Menschen sich schämen, wenn er kommen wird in seiner Herrlichkeit und der des Vaters und der heiligen Engel.

Porque el que se avergonzare de mí y de mis palabras, de este tal el Hijo del hombre se avergonzará cuando viniere en su gloria, y del Padre, y de los santos ángeles.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

Ich sage euch aber in Wahrheit: Es sind etliche von denen, die hier stehen, welche den Tod nicht schmecken werden, bis sie das Reich Gottes gesehen haben.

Y os digo en verdad, que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte, hasta que vean el reino de Dios.

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

But I tell you the truth: There are some of those who stand here who will in no way taste of death until they see God’s Kingdom.”

Es geschah aber bei acht Tagen nach diesen Worten, daß er Petrus und Johannes und Jakobus mitnahm und auf den Berg stieg, um zu beten.

Y aconteció como ocho días después de estas palabras, que tomó á Pedro y á Juan y á Jacobo, y subió al monte á orar.

And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

About eight days after these sayings, he took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up onto the mountain to pray.

Und indem er betete, wurde das Aussehen seines Angesichts anders und sein Gewand weiß, strahlend.

Y entre tanto que oraba, la apariencia de su rostro se hizo otra, y su vestido blanco y resplandeciente.

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.

Und siehe, zwei Männer redeten mit ihm, welche Moses und Elias waren.

Y he aquí dos varones que hablaban con él, los cuales eran Moisés y Elías;

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

Diese erschienen in Herrlichkeit und besprachen seinen Ausgang, den er in Jerusalem erfüllen sollte.

Que aparecieron en majestad, y hablaban de su salida, la cual había de cumplir en Jerusalem.

Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

Petrus aber und die mit ihm waren, waren beschwert vom Schlaf; als sie aber völlig aufgewacht waren, sahen sie seine Herrlichkeit und die zwei Männer, welche bei ihm standen.

Y Pedro y los que estaban con él, estaban cargados de sueño: y como despertaron, vieron su majestad, y á aquellos dos varones que estaban con él.

But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they were fully awake, they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.

Und es geschah, als sie von ihm schieden, sprach Petrus zu Jesu: Meister, es ist gut, daß wir hier sind; und laß uns drei Hütten machen, dir eine und Moses eine und Elias eine; und er wußte nicht, was er sagte.

Y aconteció, que apartándose ellos de él, Pedro dice á Jesús: Maestro, bien es que nos quedemos aquí: y hagamos tres pabellones, uno para ti, y uno para Moisés, y uno para Elías; no sabiendo lo que se decía.

And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

As they were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah,” not knowing what he said.

Als er aber dies sagte, kam eine Wolke und überschattete sie. Sie fürchteten sich aber, als sie in die Wolke eintraten;

Y estando él hablando esto, vino una nube que los cubrió; y tuvieron temor, entrando ellos en la nube.

While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

While he said these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered into the cloud.

und es geschah eine Stimme aus der Wolke, welche sagte: Dieser ist mein geliebter Sohn, ihn höret.

Y vino una voz de la nube, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado; á él oid.

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

A voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”

Und indem die Stimme geschah, wurde Jesus allein gefunden. Und sie schwiegen und verkündeten in jenen Tagen niemand etwas von dem, was sie gesehen hatten.

Y pasada aquella voz, Jesús fué hallado solo: y ellos callaron; y por aquellos días no dijeron nada á nadie de lo que habían visto.

And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

When the voice came, Jesus was found alone. They were silent, and told no one in those days any of the things which they had seen.

Es geschah aber an dem folgenden Tage, als sie von dem Berge herabgestiegen waren, kam ihm eine große Volksmenge entgegen.

Y aconteció al día siguiente, que apartándose ellos del monte, gran compañía les salió al encuentro.

And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.

On the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a great multitude met him.

Und siehe, ein Mann aus der Volksmenge rief laut und sprach: Lehrer, ich bitte dich, blicke hin auf meinen Sohn, denn er ist mein eingeborener;

Y he aquí, un hombre de la compañía clamó, diciendo: Maestro, ruégote que veas á mi hijo; que es el único que tengo:

And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

Behold, a man from the crowd called out, saying, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only born child.

und siehe, ein Geist ergreift ihn, und plötzlich schreit er, und er zerrt ihn unter Schäumen, und mit Mühe weicht er von ihm, indem er ihn aufreibt.

Y he aquí un espíritu le toma, y de repente da voces; y le despedaza y hace echar espuma, y apenas se aparta de él quebrantándole.

And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him.

Behold, a spirit takes him, he suddenly cries out, and it convulses him so that he foams; and it hardly departs from him, bruising him severely.

Und ich bat deine Jünger, daß sie ihn austreiben möchten, und sie konnten es nicht.

Y rogué á tus discípulos que le echasen fuera, y no pudieron.

And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not.

I begged your disciples to cast it out, and they couldn’t.”

Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: O ungläubiges und verkehrtes Geschlecht, bis wann soll ich bei euch sein und euch ertragen? Bringe deinen Sohn her.

Y respondiendo Jesús, dice: ¡Oh generación infiel y perversa! ¿hasta cuándo tengo de estar con vosotros, y os sufriré? Trae tu hijo acá.

And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.

Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

Während er aber noch herzukam, riß ihn der Dämon und zog ihn zerrend zusammen. Jesus aber bedrohte den unreinen Geist und heilte den Knaben und gab ihn seinem Vater zurück.

Y como aun se acercaba, el demonio le derribó y despedazó: mas Jesús increpó al espíritu inmundo, y sanó al muchacho, y se lo volvió á su padre.

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

While he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him violently. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Sie erstaunten aber alle sehr über die herrliche Größe Gottes.

Y todos estaban atónitos de la grandeza de Dios. Y maravillándose todos de todas las cosas que hacía, dijo á sus discípulos:

And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

They were all astonished at the majesty of God. But while all were marveling at all the things which Jesus did, he said to his disciples,

Als sich aber alle verwunderten über alles, was Jesus tat, sprach er zu seinen Jüngern: Fasset ihr diese Worte in eure Ohren; denn der Sohn des Menschen wird überliefert werden in der Menschen Hände.

Poned vosotros en vuestros oídos estas palabras; porque ha de acontecer que el Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres.

Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

“Let these words sink into your ears, for the Son of Man will be delivered up into the hands of men.”

Sie aber verstanden dieses Wort nicht, und es war vor ihnen verborgen, auf daß sie es nicht vernähmen; und sie fürchteten sich, ihn über dieses Wort zu fragen.

Mas ellos no entendían esta palabra, y les era encubierta para que no la entendiesen; y temían preguntarle de esta palabra.

But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

But they didn’t understand this saying. It was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

Es entstand aber unter ihnen eine Überlegung, wer wohl der Größte unter ihnen wäre.

Entonces entraron en disputa, cuál de ellos sería el mayor.

Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

An argument arose among them about which of them was the greatest.

Als Jesus aber die Überlegung ihres Herzens sah, nahm er ein Kindlein und stellte es neben sich

Mas Jesús, viendo los pensamientos del corazón de ellos, tomó un niño, y púsole junto á sí,

And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

Jesus, perceiving the reasoning of their hearts, took a little child, and set him by his side,

und sprach zu ihnen: Wer irgend dieses Kindlein aufnehmen wird in meinem Namen, nimmt mich auf; und wer irgend mich aufnehmen wird, nimmt den auf, der mich gesandt hat; denn wer der Kleinste ist unter euch allen, der ist groß.

Y les dice: Cualquiera que recibiere este niño en mi nombre, á mí recibe; y cualquiera que me recibiere á mí, recibe al que me envió; porque el que fuere el menor entre todos vosotros, éste será el grande.

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”

Johannes aber antwortete und sprach: Meister, wir sahen jemand Dämonen austreiben in deinem Namen, und wir wehrten ihm, weil er dir nicht mit uns nachfolgt.

Entonces respondiendo Juan, dijo: Maestro, hemos visto á uno que echaba fuera demonios en tu nombre; y se lo prohibimos, porque no sigue con nosotros.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

John answered, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow with us.”

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Wehret nicht; denn wer nicht wider euch ist, ist für euch.

Jesús le dijo: No se lo prohibáis; porque el que no es contra nosotros, por nosotros es.

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Jesus said to him, “Don’t forbid him, for he who is not against us is for us.”

Es geschah aber, als sich die Tage seiner Aufnahme erfüllten, daß er sein Angesicht feststellte, nach Jerusalem zu gehen.

Y aconteció que, como se cumplió el tiempo en que había de ser recibido arriba, él afirmó su rostro para ir á Jerusalem.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

It came to pass, when the days were near that he should be taken up, he intently set his face to go to Jerusalem

Und er sandte Boten vor seinem Angesicht her; und sie gingen hin und kamen in ein Dorf der Samariter, um für ihn zuzubereiten.

Y envió mensajeros delante de sí, los cuales fueron y entraron en una ciudad de los Samaritanos, para prevenirle.

And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

Und sie nahmen ihn nicht auf, weil sein Angesicht nach Jerusalem hin gerichtet war.

Mas no le recibieron, porque era su traza de ir á Jerusalem.

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

They didn’t receive him, because he was traveling with his face set toward Jerusalem.

Als aber seine Jünger Jakobus und Johannes es sahen, sprachen sie: Herr, willst du, daß wir Feuer vom Himmel herabfallen und sie verzehren heißen, wie auch Elias tat?

Y viendo esto sus discípulos Jacobo y Juan, dijeron: Señor, ¿quieres que mandemos que descienda fuego del cielo, y los consuma, como hizo Elías?

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

Er wandte sich aber um und strafte sie und sprach: Ihr wisset nicht, wes Geistes ihr seid .

Und sie gingen nach einem anderen Dorfe.

Es geschah aber, als sie auf dem Wege dahinzogen, sprach einer zu ihm: Ich will dir nachfolgen, wohin irgend du gehst, Herr.

Y aconteció que yendo ellos, uno le dijo en el camino: Señor, te seguiré donde quiera que fueres.

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

As they went on the way, a certain man said to him, “I want to follow you wherever you go, Lord.”

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Die Füchse haben Höhlen und die Vögel des Himmels Nester; aber der Sohn des Menschen hat nicht, wo er sein Haupt hinlege.

Y le dijo Jesús: Las zorras tienen cuevas, y las aves de los cielos nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recline la cabeza.

And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Er sprach aber zu einem anderen: Folge mir nach. Der aber sprach: Herr, erlaube mir zuvor hinzugehen und meinen Vater zu begraben.

Y dijo á otro: Sígueme. Y él dijo: Señor, déjame que primero vaya y entierre á mi padre.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

He said to another, “Follow me!” But he said, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Laß die Toten ihre Toten begraben, du aber gehe hin und verkündige das Reich Gottes.

Y Jesús le dijo: Deja los muertos que entierren á sus muertos; y tú, ve, y anuncia el reino de Dios.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

But Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and announce God’s Kingdom.”

Es sprach aber auch ein anderer: Ich will dir nachfolgen, Herr; zuvor aber erlaube mir, Abschied zu nehmen von denen, die in meinem Hause sind.

Entonces también dijo otro: Te seguiré, Señor; mas déjame que me despida primero de los que están en mi casa.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

Another also said, “I want to follow you, Lord, but first allow me to say good-bye to those who are at my house.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Niemand, der seine Hand an den Pflug gelegt hat und zurückblickt, ist geschickt zum Reiche Gottes.

Y Jesús le dijo: Ninguno que poniendo su mano al arado mira atrás, es apto para el reino de Dios.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for God’s Kingdom.”
