»Ich habe euch geliebt«, spricht der HERR; »und da fragt ihr: ›Wieso hast du uns geliebt?‹ Nun, ist nicht Esau der Bruder Jakobs gewesen?« – so lautet der Ausspruch des HERRN –; »und doch habe ich Jakob geliebt,
Yo os he amado, dice Jehová: y dijisteis: ¿En qué nos amaste? ¿No era Esaú hermano de Jacob, dice Jehová, y amé á Jacob,
I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
“I have loved you,” says the LORD. Yet you say, “How have you loved us?” “Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” says the LORD, “Yet I loved Jacob;
Esau aber gehaßt, so daß ich sein Bergland zur Einöde gemacht habe und sein Erbteil zur wüsten Trift.
Y á Esaú aborrecí, y torné sus montes en asolamiento, y su posesión para los chacales del desierto?
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
but Esau I hated, and made his mountains a desolation, and gave his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness.”
Wenn Edom sagt: ›Wir sind zwar zertrümmert, werden aber die Trümmer wieder aufbauen!‹, so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Sie mögen bauen, ich aber werde niederreißen, und ihr Name wird lauten ›das Land der Gottlosigkeit‹ und ›das Volk, dem der HERR grollt für ewig‹.
Cuando Edom dijere: Nos hemos empobrecido, mas tornemos á edificar lo arruinado; así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Ellos edificarán, y yo destruiré: y les llamarán Provincia de impiedad, y, Pueblo contra quien Jehová se airó para siempre.
Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
Whereas Edom says, “We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places,” the LORD of Armies says, “They shall build, but I will throw down; and men will call them ‘The Wicked Land,’ even the people against whom the LORD shows wrath forever.”
Mit eigenen Augen werdet ihr es sehen und selbst bekennen: ›Groß ist der HERR über Israels Grenzen hinaus!‹«
Y vuestros ojos lo verán, y diréis: Sea Jehová engrandecido sobre la provincia de Israel.
And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
Your eyes will see, and you will say, “The LORD is great—even beyond the border of Israel!”
»Ein Sohn ehrt seinen Vater, und ein Knecht (fürchtet) seinen Herrn. Wenn ich nun ein Vater bin, wo ist meine Ehre? und wenn ich ein Herr bin, wo ist die Furcht vor mir? – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen zu euch Priestern, die ihr meinen Namen verachtet und doch fragt: ›Wieso haben wir deinen Namen verachtet?‹
El hijo honra al padre, y el siervo á su señor: si pues soy yo padre, ¿qué es de mi honra? y si soy señor, ¿qué es de mi temor?, dice Jehová de los ejércitos á vosotros, oh sacerdotes, que menospreciáis mi nombre. Y decís: ¿En qué hemos menospreciado tu nombre?
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, then where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the LORD of Armies to you priests who despise my name. “You say, ‘How have we despised your name?’
Ihr bringt ja auf meinem Altar verunreinigte Opferspeise dar; und da fragt ihr noch: ›Wieso haben wir sie verunreinigt?‹ Dadurch, daß ihr sagt: ›Der Tisch des HERRN ist verächtlich!‹
Que ofrecéis sobre mi altar pan inmundo. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos amancillado? En que decís: La mesa de Jehová es despreciable.
Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ In that you say, ‘The LORD’s table is contemptible.’
Wenn ihr ein blindes Tier als Opfer darbringt: ist das etwa nichts Schlimmes? Und wenn ihr ein lahmes oder krankes opfert: ist das etwa auch nichts Schlimmes? Bringe (dergleichen) doch einmal deinem Statthalter hin: wird er wohl Freude daran haben oder dir seine Gunst zuwenden?« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
Y cuando ofrecéis el animal ciego para sacrificar, ¿no es malo? asimismo cuando ofrecéis el cojo ó el enfermo, ¿no es malo? Preséntalo pues á tu príncipe: ¿acaso se agradará de ti, ó le serás acepto? dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
When you offer the blind for sacrifice, isn’t that evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, isn’t that evil? Present it now to your governor! Will he be pleased with you? Or will he accept your person?” says the LORD of Armies.
»Und nun, flehet doch Gott (auf solche Weise) um Gnade an! – Derartiges ist doch eurerseits geschehen –: wird er da noch einem von euch seine Gunst zuwenden?« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
Ahora pues, orad á la faz de Dios que tenga piedad de nosotros: esto de vuestra mano vino: ¿le seréis agradables? dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
“Now, please entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With this, will he accept any of you?” says the LORD of Armies.
»O schlösse doch lieber einer von euch gleich die Tore (des Tempels) zu, damit ihr nicht vergeblich Feuer auf meinem Altar anzündet! Ich habe kein Wohlgefallen an euch« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen –, »und Opfergaben mag ich von eurer Hand nicht annehmen!
¿Quién también hay de vosotros que cierre las puertas ó alumbre mi altar de balde? Yo no recibo contentamiento en vosotros, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, ni de vuestra mano me será agradable el presente.
Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
“Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says the LORD of Armies, “neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
Denn vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Niedergang ist mein Name groß unter den Völkern, und überall werden meinem Namen Weihrauch und Opfer dargebracht, und zwar reine Gaben; denn groß ist mein Name unter den Völkern« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
Porque desde donde el sol nace hasta donde se pone, es grande mi nombre entre las gentes; y en todo lugar se ofrece á mi nombre perfume, y presente limpio: porque grande es mi nombre entre las gentes, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations,” says the LORD of Armies.
»Ihr aber entheiligt ihn dadurch, daß ihr sagt: ›Der Tisch des Herrn ist minderwertig, und was er einbringt, ist ein verächtlicher Ertrag!‹
Y vosotros lo habéis profanado cuando decís: Inmunda es la mesa de Jehová; y cuando hablan que su alimento es despreciable.
But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
“But you profane it when you say, ‘The LORD’s table is polluted, and its fruit, even its food, is contemptible.’
Wenn ihr ferner sagt: ›Ach, wie mühselig ist der Dienst!‹ und ihr ihn mit Geringschätzung behandelt« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen – »und Geraubtes oder lahme und kranke Tiere als Opfergabe darbringt: soll ich das mit Wohlgefallen aus eurer Hand annehmen?« – so spricht der HERR.
Habéis además dicho: ¡Oh qué trabajo! y lo desechasteis, dice Jehová de los ejércitos; y trajisteis lo hurtado, ó cojo, ó enfermo, y presentasteis ofrenda. ¿Seráme acepto eso de vuestra mano? dice Jehová.
Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.
You say also, ‘Behold, what a weariness it is!’ And you have sniffed at it”, says the LORD of Armies; “and you have brought that which was taken by violence, the lame, and the sick; thus you bring the offering. Should I accept this at your hand?” says the LORD.
»Nein, verflucht ist der Betrüger, der in seiner Herde männliche Tiere hat und, wenn er ein Gelübde getan hat, dem Herrn doch ein geringwertiges Tier opfert! Denn ich bin ein großer König« – so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen –, »und mein Name ist gefürchtet unter den Völkern!«
Maldito el engañoso, que tiene macho en su rebaño, y promete, y sacrifica lo dañado á Jehová: porque yo soy Gran Rey, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y mi nombre es formidable entre las gentes.
But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
“But the deceiver is cursed who has in his flock a male, and vows and sacrifices to the Lord a defective thing; for I am a great King,” says the LORD of Armies, “and my name is awesome among the nations.”
