Malaquías 2

Il mio patto fu già con lui, di vita, e di pace; e gli diedi quelle cose, per lo timore del quale egli mi temette; e perciocchè egli ebbe spavento del mio Nome.

Mi pacto fué con él de vida y de paz, las cuales cosas yo le dí por el temor; porque me temió, y delante de mi nombre estuvo humillado.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
