Malaquías 2

My covenant of life and peace was with him, and I gave Or, power, or, charge to fear me, etc. it him that he might reverently fear me, and that he might be See 2 Co 8:20 awe-struck at my name.

Mi pacto fué con él de vida y de paz, las cuales cosas yo le dí por el temor; porque me temió, y delante de mi nombre estuvo humillado.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
