Y ahora, oh sacerdotes, esta orden es para ustedes.
AHORA pues, oh sacerdotes, á vosotros es este mandamiento.

Si no escuchan y se lo toman en serio, para glorificar mi nombre, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, les enviaré la maldición y pondré maldición sobre su bendición; en verdad, incluso ahora les he echado una maldición porque no lo toman en serio.
Si no oyereis, y si no acordareis dar gloria á mi nombre, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, enviaré maldición sobre vosotros, y maldeciré vuestras bendiciones; y aun las he maldecido, porque no lo ponéis en vuestro corazón.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
If you will not listen, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to my name,” says the LORD of Armies, “then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart.
Mira, voy a reprender su descendencia y les echaré estiércol en la cara, el estiércol de los animales sus fiestas solemnes; y serán removidos con eso.

Y y sabrán que yo les he enviado esta orden, para que sea mi pacto con Leví, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.

Mi pacto con él fue de vida y paz, y se los di; por su parte temía, y me reverencio y honraba mi nombre.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

Y, por lo tanto, los he humillado y despreciado ante toda la gente, así como no han mantenido mis caminos y en la ley hacen acepción de personas.
Por tanto, yo también os torné viles y bajos á todo el pueblo, según que vosotros no habéis guardado mis caminos, y en la ley tenéis acepción de personas.

¿No tenemos todos un solo padre? ¿No nos ha creado un solo Dios? ¿Por qué estamos, cada uno de nosotros, actuando falsamente con su hermano, profanando el acuerdo de nuestros padres?

Judá ha estado actuando falsamente, y se ha cometido abominación en Jerusalén; porque Judá ha hecho inmundo el lugar santo del Señor, que él ama, y ha tomado como esposa a la hija de un dios extranjero.

El Señor hará que el hombre que hace esto sea destruido de las tiendas de Jacob, al maestro y al estudiante aunque haga una ofrenda al Señor de los ejércitos.

Y de nuevo lo hacen: cubren el altar del Señor con llanto y dolor, porque ya no mira la ofrenda ni la acepta con agrado de su mano.
Y esta otra vez haréis cubrir el altar de Jehová de lágrimas, de llanto, y de clamor; así que no miraré más á presente, para aceptarlo con gusto de vuestra mano.
And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

Pero tú dices: ¿Por qué razón? Porque el Señor ha sido testigo entre tú y la esposa de tus primeros años, a quien no has sido fiel, aunque ella es tu compañera y la esposa de tu pacto.
Mas diréis: ¿Por qué? Porque Jehová ha atestiguado entre ti y la mujer de tu mocedad, contra la cual tú has sido desleal, siendo ella tu compañera, y la mujer de tu pacto.
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Pero ninguno que tenga remanente del Espíritu lo ha hecho así, aunque tenía el remanente del espíritu? Y por qué no? Y qué hizo éste mientras buscaba descendencia de Dios. Así que, piensa en tu espíritu, y que nadie sea desleal con la esposa de tu juventud.
Pues qué ¿no hizo él uno solo aunque tenía la abundancia del espíritu? ¿Y por qué uno? Para que procurara una simiente de Dios. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y contra la mujer de vuestra mocedad no seáis desleales.

Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho que él aborrece que sea repudiada; y cubra la iniquidad con su vestido, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y no seáis desleales.
For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Has cansado al Señor con tus palabras. Y todavía dices: ¿Cómo lo hemos cansado? Al decir: Todo el que hace lo malo es bueno a los ojos del Señor, y él se deleita en ellos; o ¿Dónde está Dios el juez?
Habéis hecho cansar á Jehová con vuestras palabras. Y diréis: ¿En qué le hemos cansado? Cuando decís: Cualquiera que mal hace agrada á Jehová, y en los tales toma contentamiento: de otra manera, ¿dónde está el Dios de juicio?
Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, ‘How have we wearied him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the LORD’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or ‘Where is the God of justice?’
