Malaquías 2

Et maintenant, à vous cette injonction, ô pontifes!

AHORA pues, oh sacerdotes, á vosotros es este mandamiento.

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.

“Now, you priests, this commandment is for you.

Si vous n'écoutez point, et si vous ne prenez pas à cœur de faire honneur à mon nom, dit l'Eternel-Cebaot, je déchaînerai contre vous la malédiction, et je maudirai les biens dont je vous ai bénis; oui, je les maudirai, car vous ne le prenez point à cœur!

Si no oyereis, y si no acordareis dar gloria á mi nombre, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, enviaré maldición sobre vosotros, y maldeciré vuestras bendiciones; y aun las he maldecido, porque no lo ponéis en vuestro corazón.

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Voici je défendrai à la semence †de germer pour vous, je vous répandrai des excréments sur la figure, les excréments de vos victimes, et comme eux on vous enlèvera.

He aquí, yo os daño la sementera, y esparciré el estiércol sobre vuestros rostros, el estiércol de vuestras solemnidades, y con él seréis removidos.

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

Vous reconnaîtrez alors que je vous avais commis cette tâche, pour établir mon pacte avec Lévi, dit l'Eternel-Cebaot.

Y sabréis que yo os envié este mandamiento, para que fuese mi pacto con Leví, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.

And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

Mon pacte avec lui a été un gage de vie et de paix; je les lui ai accordées comme condition de son respect, et il m'a révéré et s'est humilié sous mon nom.

Une doctrine de vérité s'est rencontrée dans sa bouche, aucune iniquité ne s'est trouvée sur ses lèvres; il a cheminé devant moi en paix et en droiture, et beaucoup, par lui, sont revenus du crime.

C'est que les lèvres du pontife doivent conserver la science; c'est de sa bouche qu'on réclame la doctrine, car il est un mandataire de l'Eternel-Cebaot.

Porque los labios de los sacerdotes han de guardar la sabiduría, y de su boca buscarán la ley; porque mensajero es de Jehová de los ejércitos.

Vous, au contraire, vous avez déserté le bon chemin, vous en avez fait trébucher beaucoup par votre enseignement, vous avez dissous le pacte avec Lévi, dit l'Eternel-Cebaot.

Mas vosotros os habéis apartado del camino; habéis hecho tropezar á muchos en la ley; habéis corrompido el pacto de Leví, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

En revanche, je vous ai rendus, moi, vils et méprisables aux yeux de tout le peuple, puisque vous n'observez pas mes voies et que vous faites preuve de partialité dans †l'application de la Loi.

Por tanto, yo también os torné viles y bajos á todo el pueblo, según que vosotros no habéis guardado mis caminos, y en la ley tenéis acepción de personas.

N'avons-nous pas tous un seul père? N'est-ce pas un seul Dieu qui nous a créés? Pourquoi commettrions-nous une trahison l'un contre l'autre, de façon à déshonorer l'alliance de nos pères?

Puisse le Seigneur, à celui qui agit de la sorte, supprimer des tentes de Jacob tout être veillant et parlant, capable de présenter des offrandes à l'Eternel-Cebaot!

Jehová talará de las tiendas de Jacob al hombre que hiciere esto, al que vela, y al que responde, y al que ofrece presente á Jehová de los ejércitos.

The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

Et voici un autre méfait de votre part: vous êtes cause que l'autel du Seigneur est couvert de larmes, de pleurs et de sanglots, si bien que †Dieu ne peut plus se complaire à vos offrandes ni accepter de présent de votre main.

Y esta otra vez haréis cubrir el altar de Jehová de lágrimas, de llanto, y de clamor; así que no miraré más á presente, para aceptarlo con gusto de vuestra mano.

And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

Et vous dites: "Pourquoi cela? Parce que l'Eternel est témoin entre toi et la femme de ta jeunesse, que tu as trahie, elle qui est ta compagne, la femme unie à toi par un pacte.

Mas diréis: ¿Por qué? Porque Jehová ha atestiguado entre ti y la mujer de tu mocedad, contra la cual tú has sido desleal, siendo ella tu compañera, y la mujer de tu pacto.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Yet you say, ‘Why?’ Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.

Pas un ne l'eût fait, s'il lui restait quelque ombre de bon sens. Et que devrait-il souhaiter, même celui-là, si ce n'est une progéniture †agréable à Dieu? Veillez donc sur vous-mêmes, et que personne ne trahisse la femme de sa jeunesse!

Pues qué ¿no hizo él uno solo aunque tenía la abundancia del espíritu? ¿Y por qué uno? Para que procurara una simiente de Dios. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y contra la mujer de vuestra mocedad no seáis desleales.

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Car je hais la répudiation, dit l'Eternel, Dieu d'Israël, et celui qui couvre son vêtement de violence, dit l'Eternel-Cebaot. Surveillez donc vos sentiments et ne commettez pas de trahison!

Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho que él aborrece que sea repudiada; y cubra la iniquidad con su vestido, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y no seáis desleales.

For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

One who hates and divorces”, says the LORD, the God of Israel, “covers his garment with violence!” says the LORD of Armies. “Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.

Vous excédez l'Eternel par vos discours, et vous demandez: "En quoi t'excédons-nous? Parce que vous dites: "Tous ceux qui font le mal sont bien vus aux yeux de l'Eternel, et ce sont eux qui sont ses favoris!" ou bien encore: "Où est donc le Dieu du bon droit?"

Habéis hecho cansar á Jehová con vuestras palabras. Y diréis: ¿En qué le hemos cansado? Cuando decís: Cualquiera que mal hace agrada á Jehová, y en los tales toma contentamiento: de otra manera, ¿dónde está el Dios de juicio?

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, ‘How have we wearied him?’ In that you say, ‘Everyone who does evil is good in the LORD’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or ‘Where is the God of justice?’
