Siehe, ich will meinen Engel senden, der vor mir her den Weg bereiten soli. Und bald wird kommen zu seinem Tempel der HERR, den ihrsuchet, und der Engel des Bundes, des ihr begehret. Siehe, er kommt! spricht der HERR Zebaoth.
HE aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí: y luego vendrá á su templo el Señor á quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, á quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me! The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Behold, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, is coming!” says the LORD of Armies.
Wer wird aber den Tag seiner Zukunft erleiden mogen, und wer wird bestehen, wenn erwird erscheinen? Denn er ist wie das Feuer eines Goldschmieds und wie die Seife der Wascher.
¿Y quién podrá sufrir el tiempo de su venida? ó ¿quién podrá estar cuando él se mostrará? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Erwird sitzen und schmelzen und das Silber reinigen; erwird die Kinder Levi reinigen und lautern wie Gold und Silber. Dann werden sie dem HERRN Speisopfer bringen in Gerechtigkeit,
Y sentarse ha para afinar y limpiar la plata: porque limpiará los hijos de Leví, los afinará como á oro y como á plata; y ofrecerán á Jehová ofrenda con justicia.
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

und wird dem HERRN wohlgefallen das Speisopfer Judas und Jerusalems, wie vorhin und vor langen Jahren.
Y será suave á Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalem, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Und ich will zu euch kommen und euch strafen und ein schnelier Zeuge sein wider die Zauberer, Ehebrecher und Meineidigen und wider die, so Gewalt und Unrecht tun den Tagelohnern, Witwen und Waisen und den Fremdling drucken und mich nicht fürchten, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.
Y llegarme he á vosotros á juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros; y contra los que juran mentira, y los que detienen el salario del jornalero, de la viuda, y del huérfano, y los que hacen agravio al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Denn ich bin der HERR, der nicht lüget. Und es soil mit euch Kindern Jakobs nicht gar aus sein.
Porque yo Jehová, no me mudo; y así vosotros, hijos de Jacob, no habéis sido consumidos.
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Ihr seid von eurer Vater Zeit an immerdar abgewichen von meinen Geboten und habt sie nicht gehalten: So bekehret euch nun zu mir, so will ich mich zu euch auch kehren, spricht der HERR Zebaoth. So sprechet ihr: Worin sollen wir uns bekehren?
Desde los días de vuestros padres os habéis apartado de mis leyes, y no las guardasteis. Tornaos á mí, y yo me tornaré á vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. Mas dijisteis: ¿En qué hemos de tornar?

Ist's recht, dafi ein Mensch Gott tauschet, wie ihr mich tauschet? So sprechet ihr: Womit tauschen wir dich? Am Zehnten und Hebopfer.
¿Robará el hombre á Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? Los diezmos y las primicias.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Darum seid ihr auch verflucht, daß euch alles unterden Handen zerrinnet; denn ihr tauschet mich allesamt.
Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Bringet aber die Zehnten ganz in mein Kornhaus, auf dafi in meinem Hause Speise sei; und prufet mich hierin, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, ob ich euch nicht des Himmels Fenster auftun werde und Segen herabschutten die Fülle.
Traed todos los diezmos al alfolí, y haya alimento en mi casa; y probadme ahora en esto, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, si no os abriré las ventanas de los cielos, y vaciaré sobre vosotros bendición hasta que sobreabunde.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Y todas las gentes os dirán bienaventurados; porque seréis tierra deseable, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Ihr redet hart wider mich, spricht der HERR. So sprechet ihr: Was reden wir wider dich?
Vuestras palabras han prevalecido contra mí, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti?
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
“Your words have been harsh against me,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against you?’
Damit, daß ihr saget: Es ist umsonst, da(3> man Gott dienet, und: Was nutzt es, daß wir sein Gebot halten und hart Leben vor dem HERRN Zebaoth führen?
Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
Darum preisen wir die Verachter, denn die Gottlosen nehmen zu; sie versuchen Gott, und gehet ihnen alles wohl hinaus.
Decimos pues ahora, que bienaventurados los soberbios, y también que los que hacen impiedad son los prosperados: bien que tentaron á Dios, escaparon.
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Aber die Gottesfurchtigen trosten sich untereinander also: Der HERR merket es und horet es, und ist vor ihm ein Denkzettel, geschrieben fur die, so den HERRN furchten und an seinen Namen gedenken.
Entonces los que temen á Jehová hablaron cada uno á su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fué escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen á Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name.
Sie sollen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, des Tages, den ich machen will, mein Eigentum sein; und ich will ihrer schonen, wie ein Mann seines Sohns schonet, der ihm dienet.
Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día que yo tengo de hacer: y perdonarélos como el hombre que perdona á su hijo que le sirve.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
They shall be mine,” says the LORD of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Und ihr sollt dagegen wiederum sehen, was fur ein Unterschied sei zwischen dem Gerechten und Gottlosen und zwischen dem, der Gott dienet, und dem, der ihm nicht dienet.
Entonces os tornaréis, y echaréis de ver la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve á Dios y el que no le sirve.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Denn siehe, es kommt ein Tag, der brennen soil wie ein Ofen; da werden alle Verachter und Gottlosen Stroh sein, und der künftige Tag wird sie anzünden, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und wird ihnen weder Wurzel noch Zweig lassen.

Euch aber, die ihr meinen Namen furchtet, soil aufgehen die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit und Heil unter desselbigen Flugeln; und ihr sollt aus- und eingehen und zunehmen wie die Mastkalber.
