Voici que j'envoie mon messager, et il préparera le chemin devant moi ; et soudain viendra dans son temple le Seigneur que vous cherchez, l'ange de l'alliance que vous désirez. Voici, il vient, dit Yahweh des armées.
HE aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí: y luego vendrá á su templo el Señor á quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, á quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me! The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Behold, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, is coming!” says the LORD of Armies.
Et qui soutiendra le jour de sa venue, et qui restera debout quand il apparaîtra ? Car il sera comme le feu du fondeur, comme la potasse des foulons.
¿Y quién podrá sufrir el tiempo de su venida? ó ¿quién podrá estar cuando él se mostrará? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

Il s'assoira, fondant et purifiant l'argent ; il purifiera les fils de Lévi, et les épurera comme l'or et l'argent ; et ils seront pour Yahweh des ministres qui lui présenteront l'oblation selon la justice ;
Y sentarse ha para afinar y limpiar la plata: porque limpiará los hijos de Leví, los afinará como á oro y como á plata; y ofrecerán á Jehová ofrenda con justicia.
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Y será suave á Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalem, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Je m'approcherai de vous pour le jugement, et je serai un témoin prompt contre les enchanteurs, contre les adultères, contre ceux qui jurent faussement, contre ceux qui extorquent au mercenaire son salaire, qui oppriment la veuve et l'orphelin, qui repoussent l'étranger, et qui ne me craignent pas, dit Yahweh des armées.
Y llegarme he á vosotros á juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros; y contra los que juran mentira, y los que detienen el salario del jornalero, de la viuda, y del huérfano, y los que hacen agravio al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

Depuis les jours de vos pères, vous vous êtes écartés de mes ordonnances et vous ne les avez pas observées. Revenez à moi et je reviendrai à vous, dit Yahweh des armées. — Et vous dites : " En quoi reviendrons-nous ? " —

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Un homme oserait-il frauder Dieu, que vous me fraudiez ? — Et vous dites : " En quoi t'avons-nous fraudé ? " — Dans la dîme et la part à prélever.
¿Robará el hombre á Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? Los diezmos y las primicias.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Vous êtes frappés, vous, de la malédiction, et moi, vous me fraudez, vous, toute la nation !
Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Apportez toute la dîme au trésor et qu'il y ait des vivres dans ma maison ! Et mettez-moi donc à l'épreuve en ceci, dit Yahweh des armées : si je n'ouvre pas pour vous les écluses des cieux, et si je ne répands pas sur vous la bénédiction jusqu'à surabondance.

Vos paroles sont dures contre moi, dit Yahweh. Et vous dites : " Qu'avons-nous dit de toi entre nous ? "
Vuestras palabras han prevalecido contra mí, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti?
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
“Your words have been harsh against me,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against you?’

Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
Et maintenant, nous proclamons heureux les impies ; ils prospèrent, ceux qui font le mal ; ils tentent Dieu, et pourtant ils échappent. "
Decimos pues ahora, que bienaventurados los soberbios, y también que los que hacen impiedad son los prosperados: bien que tentaron á Dios, escaparon.
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Alors ceux qui craignent Yahweh se sont entretenus les uns avec les autres. Et Yahweh a été attentif, il a entendu, et un livre de souvenir a été écrit devant lui, pour ceux qui craignent Yahweh et qui respectent son nom.
Entonces los que temen á Jehová hablaron cada uno á su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fué escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen á Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Au jour que je prépare, dit Yahweh des armées, ils seront pour moi un bien particulier, et je serai pour eux plein de tendresse, comme un homme est plein de tendresse, pour son fils qui le sert.
Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día que yo tengo de hacer: y perdonarélos como el hombre que perdona á su hijo que le sirve.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Et vous verrez de nouveau la différence entre le juste et le méchant, entre celui qui sert Dieu et celui qui ne le sert pas.
Entonces os tornaréis, y echaréis de ver la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve á Dios y el que no le sirve.

Car voici que le jour vient, ardent comme une fournaise. Tous les orgueilleux, tous ceux qui font le mal seront du chaume, et le jour qui vient les embrasera, dit Yahweh des armées, en sorte qu'il ne leur laissera ni racine, ni rameau.
